Get ready for your most relaxing and convenient getaway yet!
Located bay front on scenic, peaceful, and relaxing Broadkill Beach! This home has so much to offer a family and friends looking to get away from the hustle of life. One level of spacious living including a screened in porch and deck with a water view to enjoy the days and nights in this undisturbed area. The modern home includes a total of 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathroom and 1 half bathroom. There is a primary bedroom and bathroom; the 2 spare bedrooms are connected with a full bathroom. The living, dining and kitchen area is an open concept design with plenty of seating for everyone. There is access to the screened in porch from the living area and the deck. From the deck climb up to the roof top deck to sit an look out at the water, what a view! From the bar stools on the upper deck, to the comfortable seating in the screened in porch and the table and chairs on the deck, this home supplies something for everyone's enjoyment. Bookworms there is a special place for you, in the living room you will enjoy the owners library and a a quiet nook to read. Please note the beach access is directly beside the home with a safe pedestrian walk way, no long walks to the beach at this house! The home also includes a gas grill, an enclosed outside shower and a private driveway to park 4 cars. A terrific area for the nature lover, it is not uncommon to see the foxes running through the dunes, truly a bird watchers paradise, and a fisherman's dream. Make this home your favorite retreat!

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the home and on the decks.
A linen package can be purchased for your stay. The cost of the linen package for one week's stay is $194.00.

Dog friendly! Tenants are permitted one dog under 30lbs with a $250 non-refundable pet fee.

All VRBO reservations are a booking request only until confirmed by Property Manager. Credit Card payments subject to 2% fee.

Steps to beach

Lovely house in perfect location steps to beach! Love the ability to come back for lunch or go on short beach walks without getting in a vehicle. Lots of space to spread out in house and outside on multiple porches. The queen bed could use a refresh as the springs are noisy and the whole bed rolls anytime someone moves.

Amazing Place

We have been staying at 604 SBayshore Dr for the past four years. We have loved it since our first stay and it's our home away from home for a week. The house is amazingly kept. Beautiful and great amenities. The location is great and you have the beach to yourself with minimal people. Great for kids and close other beaches if you are looking for great restaurants and shopping. Thank you again for another great year!

The beach was full of interesting finds! Despite rain the first few days, we found plenty to do! The house was clean and kitchen was well stocked!

The property is exactly as depicted, except a slight shift of position of the prominent light blue sofa! The location is excellent, with easy access to the beach and an easy 5-10 walk to the Broadkill Store. One neighbor is very close, but the shrubs between the decks do help to give a bit of privacy, and the rooftop deck elevates you as well, with a great view of the water and seating for 5. The house is well stocked and the welcome note was much appreciated! The beach access next to the house does allow for smaller vehicles (ATV/golf cart sized) which may or may not be an issue during busy times, so just keep it in mind. Communication was great, and we would definitely return--maybe next time for a girls trip!

Calming vibes with a gorgeous view

Zero complaints! Lovely stay.

We had a wonderful stay at 604 S. Bayshore Drive! There was plenty of comfortable seating for our family of seven, in the living room and at the dinner table. As a family who likes preparing and sharing food, the well equipped kitchen and the large refrigerator/freezer were a plus.The deck and screened porch were favorite spots to relax and the bedrooms and baths were great too. We had absolutely zero complaints! Broadkill Beach is a hidden gem and we hope to return next year.

House was great

House was wonderful. Appliances were very good. Very nice grill. Had milkshake maker and blender. Right next to public access which has its positives and negatives. Beach was small but not crowded at all. No real waves being on the bay but water was nice.

Great place on the bay!!

Enjoyed a great week. The house was perfect and had everything we needed love sitting on the roof deck to see the sun rise. Such a peaceful place and a nice neighborhood.

The only thing I would have liked is to have the bathroom shade in the main bedroom be able to raise to allow natural light. But - I would rent this home again in a heartbeat!!!!!!

Nice vacation

It was a really nice place. Loved the house and location. Only couple of things that were problematic. There were a lot of fruit flies in the kitchen which we could not rid during the week and we believe that some previous guest or owner had a cat ( our son in law cleaned up cat poop) and our daughter is allergic to cats. Otherwise it was great fun.

The Bare Minimum & Safety Warning

My family and I have been vacationing on Broadkill Beach for years, this year we decided to rent a different house than previous years and unfortunately we were less than happy with the accommodations. To start, and most importantly, there is no mention of the house’s beach access being directly connected to the main public access & there are vehicles and ATVs driving back and forth all times of the day and night - it is not safe for pedestrian traffic, let alone small children. Secondly, the house has a small “roof deck”, with old wooden steps that are quite challenging to navigate, my elderly parents were not able to get up and down without assistance. While the house may have an updated open layout, we were underwhelmed by the lack of basic toiletries, and had to purchase our own toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent & hand soap. For the price, we would have appreciated either the owner or property manager making sure there was at least the bare minimum provided…..needless to say, we will be renting elsewhere next summer!!

The rooms, especially the kitchen and living room areas were large and it was great to have 3 bathrooms. There was plenty of parking and the walk to the beach was short and it was spacious. The only downside, which has nothing to do with the house was that there was an abundance of biting flies and jellyfish. I’m not sure if this was because it was bayside or if they all just decided to be there to torture us this week. LolBut if you’re looking for a nice property, it’s really very nice!

Don't Miss Out!

Our stay at The Blue House on Broadkill Beach was amazing! Great views of the ocean especially from the upper deck look out. Large outdoor deck with a grill connected to a relaxing screened in porch to escape from those pesky bugs. We loved our quiet beach and also had the ability to quickly be at Rehoboth boardwalk, Dogfish Head Brewery for a tour, or free bike rentals at Cape Henlopen. The clean one floor house was perfect for traveling with small children as you can go back and forth from beach easily for nap time and the calmer water is great for play! Would highly recommend for a relaxing visit to the Delaware shores!

This year our daughter and her family stayed with us and our other daughter, who has a camper, stayed at a nearby campground and then came during the day to enjoy the beach with us. We all had a great time. The first thing everyone said as they entered the home was, “Wow, this place is so nice!” The house was extremely clean. The beds were comfortable and all appliances are top of the line and worked great. The location of the house is terrific and you can’t get closer to the beach. We love Broadkill Beach and truly enjoy the natural-ness of the beach. The beach is never crowded and allowed us all to enjoy the sun, sand and water with no issues. We even had a fire on the beach one night, which everyone enjoyed. We have already chose to stay again next year! Love this place!
