We had the best time on our trip staying here! The walk to the beach is less than 5 mins and the house is very spacious for 9 people! I would highly recommend staying here with family/friends.

Perfect family vacation property! 5 minute walk to the beach and the outlet mall is right across the street. We enjoyed nearby restaurants and watching the giant screen TV at night and hanging out by the small pool during the day after enjoying the beach. Definitely coming back again. Very comfy and well stocked with linens, kitchenware, furniture.

Convenient location

Convenient location to restaurants and shops, nice and spacious house with an extra bonus with the pool. Great and fast response with property manager. It was great for our family weekend wedding that took place right around the corner. Very convenient!

Great house, comfortable beds, good linens and pillows. Everything as described. We had an AC snag but was corrected within less than 24 hours on a holiday. Make sure to bring your toiletries. Buy additional toilet paper and trash bags.We rented beach chairs online through La Dolce Vita and walked to the Surf Hut once for dinner and teens enjoyed the Chick fil a and Starbucks. 2 rooms on ground floor best for anyone elderly.Stairs for upstairs might be a challenge for someone older, but great for our group w teens and kids.Will likely repeat.

End of summer mini vacation

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with with us. We enjoyed our mini vacation very much and was able to relax and unwind. We were conveniently located nearby stores, shopping centers and restaurants. The beach is just a quick walk down the street.

It was a little difficult and cofusing to find at first but once we got settled in the property was close to a lot of places making it a convenient stay for us. The hosts were very responsive and event made efforts to make recommendations on food places. Will definitely come back to this property if we ever go back to destin FL

Awesome location!

Fall Break 2023

This property was perfect for our fall break trip. We had 8 adults and 9 teens so the living was a bedroom every night but it was great. The courtyard area was great for hanging out. Location to the beach was an easy 5min walk. The location to everything else was perfect as well. In between Destin and Santa Rosa. Close to grocery, shopping and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Nothing negative to say about this property! Everything was exactly as described and shown in photos. Communication was flawless! In the center of everything, beach is right around the corner, about a 5 minute walk! Stores and food directly across the street. Location was perfect! Family Vacation

My son and his lovely lady were having a destination wedding in Destin and I was looking for a property that would accommodate myself, spouse, our children and their families. This was the perfect choice! Plenty of rooms and bathrooms, extremely clean and stocked with all necessities. The dip pool perfect size for the littles to cool off. The host was in contact with us prior, arrival, and departure, offering any assistance we may need and suggestions of “must sees/dos”. There were a couple of minor maintenance things that needed attention (bed frame in guest house and closet door knob in downstairs master room) neither of which interfered with our stay. Beds were comfortable, sitting are cozy, and decorated nicely. Fenced in yard, bbq grill, and nice gathering area outside with plenty of seating. The “only” suggestion I would make is that the pics of the property be updated. Some appear that it may be dated but seeing it we were all pleasantly surprised! We will definitely be using this host and their property again for more family gatherings! Thank you for sharing your property with us, it’s a great place.

Beach for baseball

We stayed at this beautiful and centrally located house for a baseball tournament. First, I want to dispute the earlier review of 1 star from a previous guest. The house was well stocked to start our stay. I do not expect a host to guess how much toilet paper 3 families will need for a week. There were hand soaps, dish soaps, paper towels, and laundry soap to start our stay. We played at Morgan Sports complex which in the morning was a quick 10-15 minute drive but is much longer in the afternoon when everyone is hitting the beach. As far as the house beach location, it is about 300 yard walk to the beach access. It is not a busy road that you are walking either. Beautiful not as crowded beach. Grocery store within 3 min backroad drive for anything you need. Outlet shopping across the main road with Starbucks and Chic fil a there. The house is well furnished with plenty of kitchen ware to feed 3 baseball families and their teenage boys. Comfy linens for restful sleep after a day in the sun. Showers with plenty of hot water. Property was clean and the carriage house was perfect. I would gladly stay here again in the future. Steven was a responsive host and handled everything we needed.

Stingy hosts

We were pretty disappointed with this listing. The Location is nice, about a 5 minute walk from Miramar beach. But this is the first short term rental I’ve stayed in where the host decided to leave us without any amenities. We were only provided with hand soap bars, one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, and a small bottle of dishwashing soap. We weren’t even given a sponge to use with the dishwashing liquid. And even though the photos show a stocked laundry room, you will not be provided with any detergent. He did provide (2) dishwashing pods. And we were given 3 garbage bags. As you can imagine, If you are staying for more than two days, you will likely need to go out shopping for basic amenities. There is a kitchen but there are no spices so unless you are planning on buying all your own basic ingredients then your cooking will probably be limited to just reheating take out. But to be fair, after we told the host we had no more garbage bags he did send someone with more. As for the rest of the house, it was clean enough although the carriage house did smell a little musty so no one ended up sleeping in there. The pool is pretty small and we didn’t use it because there is constantly leaves and bugs floating in there that you’ll need to scoop up. All in all, I just don’t understand why someone would host a vacation house, and charge over a thousand dollars a night, only to be so stingy with the amenities. As a guest, I don’t want to have to worry about having to go shopping for stuff like toilet paper when I’m on vacation. I could not recommend this listing to anyone.

The location is hard to beat. Everything is walkable and we love both the indoor and outdoor hangout areas.

No busy streets to cross with kids to get to beach is rare. Most houses have to cross scenic gulf drive to get beach access, but our home is just south of it and only a small quiet vacation home neighborhood lays between you and the beach.
