South Forest Beach is one of the best places to stay on Hilton Head Island. 404 Shorewood is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa that offers gorgeous ocean views. The gray hardwood floors in the hall and bedrooms look like driftwood and there are lots of beach decorations to make this truly feel like a beach vacation.

To the right of the entrance are the two bedrooms. The first has two twin beds and a 40” SMART TV and shares a bathroom with the hall. The bathroom has a single vanity and a tub/shower combo. The master suite has a king bed and 50” SMART TV. There are sliding doors that lead to a covered balcony looking out to the ocean and has a table with seating for four. The private bath has a single vanity and walk-in shower.

To the left of the entrance is the main living area with light hardwood floors. The galley style kitchen has stainless steel appliances. In the closet is a stackable washer and dryer. The dining room has a table that seats six. In the living room there is a gray queen sleeper sofa offering an extra sleeping area for guests. There is also a love seat, chair and 65” Samsung SMART TV with DVD player. Through the sliding glass door you have access to the covered balcony.

The Shorewood Complex is a short walk away from Coligny Plaza (60+ shops/restaurants and a grocery store). Be sure to visit the Lowcountry Celebration Park, which is just across the street. This new, 10-acre park features the Sandbox Children's Museum, and the Adventure Playground, complete with a pirate ship and a wading pool!

The beautifully landscaped complex at Shorewood has an oceanfront pool with bathrooms nearby. There is also a baby pool for young ones to play in. Guests will enjoy that Shorewood is located very close to some great shopping, dining, and entertainment areas on Hilton Head Island.

404 Shorewood

Beautiful view. Spartan decor. Comfortable bed. No cable TV; streaming only. Need light bulbs in ceiling fans and Microwave. Entire villa including fridge smelled like PineSol for first 3 days. Cleaning crew needs to check lint trap in dryer.

Great times at Shorewood!

We were very pleased with our time at 404 Shorewood. The condo was perfectly situated on the beach with a great view of the ocean. The interior accommodations were outstanding. The bedrooms were very comfortable, the living space and kitchen area were clean and inviting. We would love to return for a longer stay next year!

Nice condo

Very nice condo. Everything was new and as shown in the pictures. The pool and grounds were also kept clean and neat. We had an issue (which was my fault) trying to book the room, but Brian quickly returned my call and handled everything. We will be back.

Exactly as pictured

I was a bit hesitant without many reviews but the condo was exactly as advertised, if not better. All the kitchen supplies match and are brand new. First time in awhile that I've been able to use a knife from a rental to cut things! Owners also supplied plenty of plastic containers, pots, pans etc. Kitchen appliances are all brand new. Coffee filters were available. Huge flat screen in the living room with plenty of seating. Beautiful view from inside and the balcony. Unit was very quiet. Easy to walk to shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect family vacation.

The property was the perfect size for our family. The view was spectacular and access to the big was easy. Despite staying during a peak week the dedicated beach space was not too crowded. We absolutely would consider staying again.

Terrific Condo

I got a late start looking for a rental for June and was fortunate that this new-on-the-market vacation condo became available. The condo was recently refurbished and, indeed, when we walked inside we were able to detect a faint whiff of fresh paint. We were happy to be one of the very first to stay in this delightful condo. The condo is light and airy with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The master bed is extremely comfortable and I assume the same is true for the twin beds in the 2nd bedroom (my 14 year old had no complaints). The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of utensils and pots and pans. One of the things not obvious from the pictures is the privacy of the balcony - a gorgeous direct view of the ocean without having to look at other balconies in your peripheral vision. The view is enhanced by its 4th floor location. There is an elevator in the building, but because it serves a relatively small number of units, we never had to spend much time waiting for it. The complex has a large pool (which was crowded during the day), ready access to the beach, and within easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants of Coligny Plaza. The owner, Sarah, provided a welcoming bottle of wine, a handwritten note, and a followup email the day after we arrived to make sure everything was okay. In short, our stay was terrific...kudos to Sarah.
