The villa itself is beautiful and consistent with the photos. The location is central and convenient once you are familiar with the area. However, there were several issues that future guests should be aware of.First, upon concluding our stay, the host requested an additional tourist tax (to be paid in cash, in Euros rather than the local currency) despite the listing stating that all fees were included at the time of booking. This charge was not disclosed during the booking process or at check-in. Second, we were not provided with clear check-in or check-out information. Important operational details - such as garbage sorting requirements and the need to purchase specific disposal bags - were not explained upon arrival. This created avoidable confusion.Access to the property was also more complicated than expected. The villa is located on a private road, which was not clearly disclosed in advance. Directions provided by the host were vague, and ride-share services were unable to reliably locate the property. Finally, an unknown man entered the villa while we were present, and had not locked the door. This was unsettling. The host says our description of the man did not match anyone she knew. While the property itself is attractive, clearer communication, better disclosure of fees and improved guest guidance would significantly improve the experience.
