Cozy Home away from Home!

This cozy modern farmhouse is conveniently situated in Rapid City's desirable Westside location. We intend for you to have a comfortable quality experience while staying in this newly renovated home. We have a modern fully-equipped kitchen with a gas stove, farmhouse sink, coffee bar, pantry, and cabinets with large pullout drawers for extra storage. The house includes WIFI, TV, board games and cards as well as a few toys for children to play with.

We are walking distance to the top rated Meadow Brook Elementary School and Meadowbrook Golf Course. Easy access to hiking, biking, and fishing with beautiful Canyon Lake park only a mile away. If you're adventurous and love the outdoors this spot is perfect to ride your bike and find some trails at Chuck Lien family park or Founders park where you can soak in lovely views of the city.

If you're looking to fill your appetite we're a short drive or bike ride to Marco's Pizza, Culver's, Qdoba, Jimmy John's or BWW to name a few. Otherwise stock up at Safeway or Family Fare which is about a mile away to cook those home cooked meals. This family friendly quiet neighborhood invites you to watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee or tea on the front porch. In the afternoon's you can enjoy a relaxing time in the large backyard while you sit on the back patio and soak in the sun or enjoy an outdoor fire or BBQ.

The Black Hills will not disappoint you with its many outdoor activities and geological formations. We've got it all from jeeping, fishing, hiking, snow skiing, boating, biking, and much more! Take a day trip to the famous Mt Rushmore, or a scenic drive a long Needles Highway, or visit the Crazy Horse monument and Custer State park just to name a few.

Great location in west Rapid City with easy access to Black Hills attractions. The house has plenty of room, the kitchen is well stocked, the fenced in back yard and the kids room with toys and books was great for our 3 year old grandson. We would stay again.

We loved staying here. There was plenty of room in the open kitchen/dining/living area and we commented on that a lot. The kitchen was stocked and easy to use. Check in and use of the locks were very easy and straightforward. Everything worked well and the communication with hosts was easy. They were responsive and open. Finally, it was very quiet. We all slept well and enjoyed ourselves a lot.

This was a very clean and well decorated home in a great neighborhood and convenient to downtown and numerous attractions. The kitchen is well equipped and the house was perfect for our family of 8. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and responsive to a few issues that arose.

Great place to stay!

The home was clean, comfortable, and had evrything a guest needed. The neighborhood was quiet and near places to eat and shop. I liked that it had a downstairs section to the house. It had its own livingspace, bathroom and large bedroom.

Excellent Stay

My bridal party and I rented this home to use to get ready for my wedding. The property manager was very accommodating with this and we had enough space for the 6 of us to get ready and for my stylist to do hair/makeup. My photographer got excellent photos in the backyard as it is truly beautiful. The neighborhood was nice and quiet which is what we were looking for. I adored my stay at this home.

Great family home

My extended family and I rented this home and it was perfect. Plenty of space for us to spread out in the home. Big backyard to play yard games and bbq. They had everything you needed in the home. Decorated so cute and very clean. Dry cozy. Very welcoming. The owners had great communication with me. Location is great for Mount Rushmore and close to a lot of other attractions. I highly recommend.

Perfect Home Base for Exploring Rapid City and the Black Hills!

Our recent stay in Rapid City, South Dakota, was amazing thanks to this wonderful Vrbo rental. The property exceeded our expectations in every way and made our trip incredibly enjoyable. Location: The rental is ideally situated in a quiet, safe neighborhood just minutes from downtown Rapid City. The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated, offering a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The living space was spacious, and the kitchen was fully equipped with modern appliances, which made preparing meals a breeze. We especially loved the comfortable beds and the high-quality linens provided. Our host was incredibly responsive and helpful from the moment we booked. They provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out and even offered great local tips and recommendations. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. This Vrbo rental was the perfect home base for our Rapid City adventure.

Outstanding Home In Rapid City

Can't beat this property for Western Rapid City location, cleanliness, and comfort. No issues during stay. Central to Black Hills sites to the southwest and northwest. This is how every VRBO should be. Highly recommend. The price is right as well.

Perfect for state tournament weekend

We decided to go with a house vs hotel for the state tournament weekend and it was definitely the right choice. Great location, only a 5-10 drive to The Monument and close to downtown with wonderful restaurants. We had two families stay which worked out perfect. We each had our own space yet comfortable living spaces to visit, play games and create memories. Hosts were great and VERY quick to respond to questions. 5⭐️

Great Choice!

This cozy house worked wonderfully for us (two 60+ couples.) We couldn’t have asked for a better location as our base to sightsee the surrounding Rapid City areas. The cute house was spotless inside and out, with plenty of room to spread out. The only slight issue was the sink in the main bathroom was very slow to drain. We would highly recommend Cozy Home Away From Home!

Black hills family vacation

Thank you so much for letting us stay. It was so helpful to have pots and pans and kitchen utensils available for us to use so we could cook there. The beds were comfy and everything was super clean. It is very homey and just a wonderful location in rapid to stay at. Me and my family had a wonderful time!

It was great place to stay close enough to Sturgis 30 minute ride on the bike and also to Mount Rushmore and the Black Hills they were four of us that went plenty of room for everyone clean even had a garage. We could park the bikes in definitely would stay here again.

Exactly as pictured & convenient location!

We stayed here for a Black Hills vacation and this home was perfect for our family. It's cute, great set-up for kids, and was easy to get to restaurants, Mt. Rushmore, Custer, or north to Spearfish, etc. We loved that there were five separate sleeping spaces. The basement was a fun hang-out area with a newer bathroom & separate bedroom space. It was nice that the hosts provided a few "extras" like popcorn, cold water in the wine fridge, and some condiments in the fridge. We would stay here again.

Super Comfortable

The house was so comfortable and even better than the pictures. It had a great yard, plenty of space, and was well-suited for kids and families. The house had everything we could possibly need, and the location was perfect for getting to town and exploring the area. Angela and Mike were very responsive. I recommend it!

Comfortable - great location

Our stay was excellent. The house was great for what we were looking for. Great for two couples with separate bedrooms on main floor and in basement. Very clean. Great proximity to downtown Rapid City, Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Bear Country, Sturgis, Deadwood and the Badlands. Great restaurants. My only recommendation would be a mattress topper to the bed on main floor end of hall on right. It was a little firm but there are plenty of beds and some people prefer firm so not a big deal. We would definitely stay here again. Homeowners were attentive and available for our questions. Thanks again! We loved our trip and thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

Nice 4 bedroom house in Rapid City

We stayed here with our family of 5 to do all of the tourist things in South Dakota (Rushmore, Badlands, etc). Rapid City is a great hub to get to all these places, and this house was a very nice place to stay. Property was clean, owners were very accommodating. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were overall pretty comfortable as rentals go. They had a working gas grill which was nice, we grilled out several nights during our stay. Cornhole boards which the kids enjoyed. Only a couple of minor drawbacks. The A/C unit for the house is really not big enough to cool the house down during the warmest part of the day, we couldn't get it below 78 degrees until about 8 PM, which was a little tricky since we were trying to put our youngest kids to bed at that time and the house was still pretty warm. Also, some individual mini bar soaps and shampoos for the bathrooms would be a nice touch. Overall a very good rental property and we would definitely stay here again if in the area.
