The cottage was the perfect size for my family of four. Located just a short drive to multiple beaches. The private beach was a perfect place to take a short walk and enjoy the scenery.

Quaint and clean- we just needed a place to sleep not too far from family. The futon which we assumed was in the living room was a trundle in the bedroom… awkward to share but we survived.

Quiet but close to everything

Nice place, plenty of room for 2; lots of things to do that are nearby, nice neighbors (Mary & Oreo), and excellent communication with the host. Highly recommend!

We loved staying in The Cottage - it was the perfect fit for our weekend trip and honestly more spacious than I was anticipating! The host was forthcoming with communication and even offered for us to change weekends when the weather seemed it would be crummy! We hope to stay here again next year!

Perfect Location

Very centralized for golf, Woolfie’s, Chapin’s, and beaches. Loved the privacy of the HOA neighborhood and the grill came in handy! A great 4th of July.

Great quiet location

Overall great experience. My kids and I loved the cottage. A bit of a walk to beach and fishing area. The host was super helpful for any question I had and provided clear instructions and answers. Definitely a place that I would come back to if we return the to the Cape in the next few years.

Beautiful spacious home, washer and dryer useful to have clean towels, outdoor shower plus, furniture older style, beds could be more comfortable, beach and pier nice to sit at not really a good swimming spot , outdoor grille available for use but not clean for cooking nor any brush available to clean it

Great Friend Getaway

Had a great time at the property. Any questions I had that came up (including a partial emergency) was quickly responded to. Beach area nearby was small but because it’s a private beach it was not busy. The dock was lovely to sit at in the morning. I would highly recommend it.

Pros; location, communication, understanding for my mess up Cons: beds are awful. No top bar for bunk so unusable, no sheets for sofa bed, and no privacy. Overall, it was fine and the private beach made it better.

Wonderful House, Awesome Host

The property is such a nice place to stay, especially with a bigger group. Plenty of room, and its only a 3 minute walk to a beautiful dock on bass river. Anissa is an awesome host. Very accommodating, and so quick to answer any questions we had about the property. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you!

Spring visit to Cape Cod

Went for a weekend away. House was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Even though it's early in the season, there were still plenty of places open. We played a round of golf at Bass River Golf Course and enjoyed lunch at their grill with water views! Had a nice (chilly) long walk down the beach at low tide. Hope to come back in the summer!

Whenever there were small blips, the contact person was very receptive and helped with solutions. Room temperature adjustments were great with AC, nice home. Near river. Mattresses could be much better if they wanted to improve on anything.

Good location, nice house, small details missing

Overall we enjoyed our time at Anissas place and for the money it was good. The access to the river and kayaks was great and generally they had enough to get by. We left wanting a bit more on the finer details though. There was no shampoo, no paper towels, no extra bath towels and much of the house appeared dated and in need of some touching up/repair. The back deck sliding door was in it's dying days and some of the rugs/furniture were stained. With some work on these areas it could be an awesome spot.

The location was great, but the bed was very uncomfortable. The mattress was too soft, and we kept rolling into the middle, unable to sleep well! It had no support whatsoever...THEY NEED TO GET A NEW MATTRESS!Also, the sleep-sofa was broken and very dirty. When you opened it to set up the bed, there were three broken connections at the corner, so you couldn't even make the bed! We had one night of guests, and we had to take the mattress off of it and they had to sleep on the floor...VERY EMBARASSING! In addition to that, there were stains on the cushions of this sofa, and they were torn in many places. THEY NEED TO GET A NEW SOFA! Also, the shades didn't work properly...I need a lot of sunlight as I have "Seasonal Affective Disorder", and they couldn't be pulled up all the way. THEY NEED TO FIX THE SHADES.And, the slider screen was so flimsy that it kept falling off the track....THEY NEED TO GET A NEW SCREEN!In addition to all of this, the kitchen needs more supplies, such as a spatula (one for flipping eggs)...we had to use the one for the grill! A couple more saucepans would be a good idea as there was only one small one. In the posting online, it said that towels were provided; however, there were only 3. How do 2 people who have booked for a week manage on 3 towels? We had to use dried-off beach towels by Tuesday!Worstly, the faucet was stained with toothpaste spittle...GROSS!I'll only stay again if all is fixed!

Beautiful home & location!

This exceeded our expectations - the property was stunning! I got this VRBO for my mother, brother, sister & 1year old daughter to stay as we were in a wedding very close by. There was ample room and it was perfectly safe for my young one which always make a mother feel good :) We will be coming back, maybe to hit the links next time! So awesome seeing the golf course as you walk outside. 10/10!

Very nice place to stay; clean and roomy. All essential amenities were provided. Easy walking distance to a beautiful private beach. Close to area towns for shopping. We would love to stay again!

GUEST HOUSE OFFER: At additional cost, there's a 500 sq.ft. cottage next to the main house. It has a queen pullout couch in the living space as well as a bedroom with bunk bed-twin over double. Perfect for a couple to have additional privacy or adding another place for a large group to extend. There is a full bathroom and kitchen with a microwave and stove, Coffee maker and toaster. You can request the guest house to be available for your stay. We will charge an extra $205/night + $80 cleaning fee for the guest house use.
