Three furnished screened porches and the covered creek dock take full advantage of the island’s north-end charm at this two-story beach house.
A private creek boardwalk leads to the fixed and floating docks, perfect for fishing, crabbing, boating, and kayaking… or simply watching shorebirds and cloud formations.
The spacious kitchen and dining area are adjacent to the largest porch commanding a spectacular view over the tidal saltwater creek.
The second screened porch on the main floor is where to listen for the ocean’s ebb and flow marking island time. The primary bedroom suite has private access to this porch along with a king bed, TV, and spacious bathroom.
On the top floor are four more bedrooms - two en suite and two share a bath in between. You may have to draw straws to see who gets the bedrooms with screened porch access and peek-a-boo ocean view!

HOUSEKEEPING / LINENS: All short-term stays include departure clean service, bed and bath linens, and beds made upon arrival. Linens and housekeeping are additional costs for monthly stays.
BEACH ACCESS: Approx. 4-minute walk. Leaving the driveway on Atlantic Ave, head south eight doors down to the Shell Road intersection where a well-worn beach path runs about 600 feet to the beach.
CREEK ACCESS: The private covered dock is located on a tidal creek providing built-in benches, attached floating dock, and adjacent unpaved boat launch – perfect for launching kayaks and paddleboards to explore the beautiful tidal creek. The Shell Road public boat launch is a nearby option for launching a Jon boat.
LENGTH OF STAY: Saturday to Saturday stays in summer. 7-night minimum year-round.

The Pawleys Island/Litchfield Beach area is known locally as the Waccamaw Neck. Pawleys Island, known for its “arrogantly shabby” character, encompasses Litchfield but has its own beach – and island – where it splits away from the south end of Litchfield Beach. The relaxing ebb and flow of the tide sets the pace of our Lowcountry coastal region of South Carolina where getting on Island Time comes naturally.

It is also home to the only accredited zoo on the Carolina coast, where you will see rescued native animals in their natural habitats.
