It was the 1st house in the area and still standing proudly on almost 2 beautiful acres. Are you a Chiefs or Royals fan? Well if so, you will be so close to the stadiums if you stay at “ The Hawthorne “. It has been refurbished but still has the fun creaks in the floor and old character charm of a historical home while being beautifully furnished for your family to comfortably enjoy and spread out. It’s over 7,000 sq feet with a fully stocked commercial kitchen complete with 3 dishwashers. The commercial sink will actually have your children wanting to do the dishes. There’s a game room garage that has a pop a shot, ping pong table, shuffleboard, a multicade video game ( has 60 different popular games), exercise bike, darts, TV etc , billiards room with CD jukebox, lots of board games, bee themed tea room, several smart TV’s and a baby grand piano. For the couple who wants to really get away from the crowd there is also a newer addition apartment complete with all necessities and an office work space if you need that quiet time to work. We do have a high chair, pack and play, a crib and a mini bedside crib for the little ones in your crew.



We have a large circle drive that could accommodate approximately 10 cars.

Cute older neighborhood with the upcoming Englewood Arts District just down the road. Make sure to make a reservation for Vivilore restaurant nearby. It’s amazing food and an adorable shop! The town square of Independence is about 2 miles away. So many neat restaurants and shops there too!



We do have a fire suppression system (commercial grade) throughout the home. Please let your kids know about the fire equipment and to please not pull the alarms or throw balls or anything in the house. If one breaks it would set off the water sprinklers inside causing damage.
