Very well appointed beach home located right across from the beach with direct access. Great House!

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It was really close to the beach access. The pool was nice also. The only issue was the WiFi didn’t have good signal in the bedrooms, but other than that it was a great week. We would definitely stay again at this house.

Great Location

This house is in a great location - it is a very quick walk to the beach! The rental company was also easy to communicate with. The only downsides were the beds were not very comfortable, and the WIFI did not work well on the second floor where the bedrooms are.Overall, we would stay here again!

The house was nice. The pool nice and clean. Easy access to the beach. The A/C worked great. The WI-FI only worked about 25% of the time. The furniture needs to be updated- especially the mattresses and kitchen appliances. Also, guests need to know that the main floor is the 3rd floor. . . lots and lots of steps! The neighborhood was awesome however the house is very far from the gate and island restaurants.

The location was great. It was a great space for two. I would have preferred a secure WiFi vs. the open channel. Did not want to do any banking or sensitive data emails. That said we would book this property again.

"Freebird" Review

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent location and house was very clean. Proximity to beach and beach access was excellent. Pool was clean and very enjoyable. House was clean but definitely needs some maintenance and upkeep. Decorations were dated and some even broken (a broken picture remains on the wall in the upstairs bathroom). Chairs in living space are very soiled/dirty and need replaced. Pool chairs were dirty and outdoor table and chairs on patio were dirty and very rusted. Bathrooms were very small and dated and the middle level was VERY warm day and night even with AC running. WIFI was spotty at best and definitely needs to be upgraded! Overall, it was fine for our family but I would not recommend for others looking for an updated, more maintained space.

Family vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a overall great time. We love SGI and staying in the plantation. We did have a few issues with bugs (flying ants? And roaches) the kitchen was well stocked. The bedrooms were lacking dressers to put your clothes and the kids closet was packed full of junk so you couldn’t use it if you wanted to. The living room furniture has definitely seen better days it’s very stained we covered it with blankets we found before letting the kids on it. Location to the beach was great being a row back you weren’t far at all from the public boardwalk.

Short and easy walk to the beach. (Right next to beach access boardwalk)4. Private pool!!! 5. Elevator to put suitcases in to move them up the house, however I don't recommend being inside it. Just hit the button for the floor you want it on. 6. Nice kitchen! 7. TV in every room for the kids to relax. Cons:1. Very little extra supplies (only 1 trash bags and 1 roll of paper towels etc)2. Refrigerator had 0 ice and took over 24 hours to cool. The ice machine had a popsicle chopped up in it. Overall fantastic experience and beautiful property! 5/5!

Great house, but needs some maintenace for us to return

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 2nd stay at this rental. We love the overall house and pool. They have updated the furniture in the living area since last year. The pool needs a lot of attention. The deck is cracking, and the gunite surface is as ruff as 80 grit sand paper. Our feet were torn up by using the pool daily, to the point we had to stop to heal. The pool chairs and loungers are broken, cracked, and dangerous.The elevator is also a huge problem. It sounds like it could break at any moment. We don't allow people to use it, only to move luggage up and down. When leaving, we had to reset the circuit breaker to get it working again, with some luggage trapped inside.We will not return to this property until the pool and elevator have been addressed.

Relaxing visit to St. George

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our first time to St. George & hopefully not our last. Enjoyed the view of the Gulf from the top floor living area. House is clean & as shown in pictures. King in master could be replaced as it slopes. While it was only 2 of us we did notice that there is only sitting for 5 in the living room although the house is advertised for accommodating more. One recommendation is if you cannot verify elevator has been repaired do not use. We sent it up from ground to 2nd floor for a test run before loading. It got stuck at 2nd floor. We called the office to see if there was an emergency key & was told if there was they did not know where it was & probably shouldn’t be using it. I mentioned there was nothing in the rules or a sign saying not to. It’s a long way up w/luggage & food. We were thankful we had not put anything in it. The a/c stopped working as well as the water heater on the first day. Called the office & they scheduled a/c repair immediately & plumber for next. A/c needed Freon & water heater needed new element. We were good to go after that w/no more issues.

A long drive on the plantation

We stay on St Georgia Island every year for the seafood festival from a Friday to a Monday usually I only stay there from a Friday to a Sunday the location was very far and it was a long drive in town I don't think I can stay on the plantation anymore
