Easy walk to the beach and the Gulf of Mexico from this classic cottage. Features include; 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, elevated sundeck, PRIVATE POOL and more! Amenities: Smart TV, Dishwasher, Washer/Dryer, Microwave, Grill, and more. Pet friendly, $100/non-refundable pet fee.

Our rates are some of the most competitive on the island, for which we provide nice beach homes for an affordable price. All of our beach homes have televisions with cable and DVD/VCR's. Highly enjoyed our stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Outside appearance seems a bit rustic but inside accommodations are nice , clean , very functional and comfortable. Pool area is wonderful, clean and a great addition to this property. I would would also like to add that during our stay my elderly mother had lost her very expensive ring and management went after our stay and located the ring and got it back to us , a very big thank you to all that was involved!!

Cute Rustic “cabin”

The place was adorable. We loved the high, beamed ceilings and the good sized kitchen. The pool was wonderful. Only issue: the WiFi was horrible!

Fun times and dog friendly

Great place to stay and great location without breaking the bank. Spacious and plenty of room. The pool was just the right size and the water was great. Short walk to the beach and the property includes a rolling beach cart with umbrella and 2 beach chairs. Was so nice to not have to buy or bring our own. We will be back!

Better Than Expected

We booked a last minute girls trip and was very surprised that the home head more updated than the photos led to be. Some of the dishes and utensils needed to be re-washed but other than that, we had a great time laying by the pool. Walking distance to the lighthouse, restaurants and nightlife was only about a 10 minute walk. Already booked for next year.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love vacationing on St. George Island and this was our first time renting a cottage. Yes, the cottage is old and could use a few updates but it was spotless, which is important to us. We enjoyed sitting on the upper deck every evening looking out at the Gulf which is only one block away. The fenced in backyard was also great for our two small dogs.

Not as nice as expected.

The front bathroom sink was broken - leaking profusely when used. This was extremely inconvenient as we could not brush teeth, wash hands etc. It was very difficult with 6 adults and only one fully functioning bathroom. The property management was not overly concerned. There were several roaches- living and dead. For the price we paid this place was not as nice as we expected. Location was convenient and the pool was nice.

I would NOT rent this house again. Very run down condition. You could see thru the wall in the bedroom with the king size bed. It was clean, other than dead bugs. It definitely could use renovating.

First time at St George

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arriving we were in awe of the beautiful island. However we were disappointed in our accommodations. We knew per reviews that the house was older and in need of update however I was expecting cleanliness. I swept, dusted and cleaned the bathroom and kitchen on our arrival and at our departure. The pool was a nice addition but there is no outside lights to enjoy in or the yard after dark. We purchased battery operated lights ourselves. We did ride and pick out houses for our next visit. We prefer beachside with a pool a cleanliness is a must.

House was clean. House is misrepresented in pictures. We had cozy dinner on a very dilapidated deck (wear shoes). Two of the bedrooms were well ventilated as in you can see the outside through the slats of the walls.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second time we have stayed at this property. From last year to this year continues to show areas of needing repair. One highlight of property is the private pool area, tiles on pool broken and missing. Umbrella having to be propped up by zip ties in pool area. Door to outside deck area unable to open. Yes I called office nothing was done. Location is great. Cleanliness was acceptable. Ants in kitchen. Get a can opener please. I would recommend to a friend but just be aware that it is much older which I don’t mind. Just wish someone would show this little gem some love and upkeep.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second stay at this property, and we feel its location is its greatest amenity. Its walking distance to restaurants, the lighthouse, and the beach (via deeded access), walkable even for our small children. The property also maintains a nice private pool, which is certainly a plus amenity. Beyond that, the home (and outdoor space especially) continue to show signs of wear. We were also concerned during this stay of pests getting into the house. Fortunately, Suncoast management and the owner responded quickly to have the house treated. If you're looking for an affordable house rental near the beach with an excellent location (and its own pool), this is a fine option.

It's the image in my mind when I think of older Florida beach house. Good location with easy access to the beach and central island restaurants and stores. The pool is just right for a refreshing cool down. The fenced back yard was great for our little dog. The bugs like the back yard, I think because it's nice and shady. My wife and I would (and probably will) stay here again.

Great beach vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I enjoyed our week-long vacation at this property! The property was clean upon arrival and offered some really nice amenities (private pool, rooftop deck). The property is showing some wear in areas from use and the elements. We called the management company about several issues, and the property owner had them corrected very quickly. We appreciated the owner's timely responsiveness! The property is located right on a sandy path that provides access to the beach just a couple blocks away. There were few if any other folks near us on the beach. I think most visitors to the island use the public beach access near the lighthouse. The property is also within a 10-15 minute walk of the island's lighthouse, restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed walking to and from dinner each night! We also explored nearby Apalachicola, which offers some nice shops, restaurants, and old southern charm. If you're looking for a luxurious property to stay at on SGI, this is not your place. But if you're like us, and you just want to be on the island at a nice property near the beach and restaurants - and have your own pool to enjoy - I highly recommend this property!

I understand it’s an old Florida cottage, but was disappointed in its condition. Blue tarp hanging in carport led us to believe going up to the sun deck would be unsafe. Floor in bathroom with washer/dryer appeared ready to give way in certain spots and tub in same bathroom was slippery when showering. Air conditioning was good as well as the pool... but could use an umbrella or a bit of shade out there. Property was clean. Would I rent this one again... I would not. Good location... central island, easy walk to beach and easy access to stores/restaurants.

The outside deck needs shade during the day. The kids loved the pool. The only problem was the sand spurs along the pool deck and the pantry door that wouldn't open. Would definitely recommend
