Situated high in the trees above the fray, ‘Tranquility on Amelia’ is your quiet home away from home. This two bedroom/two bath unit with kitchen, and screened porch is just a short walk, along a shady path, to the beach on beautiful Amelia Island, Florida. The community offers two tennis courts, a swimming pool, and numerous barbeque areas and bike racks and is located just 35 minutes from Jacksonville International Airport.

Tranquility is located on the third (top) floor and offers a quiet stay with a beautiful natural view. Please note: there is no elevator. RRDP-000706-2022

Perfect Place Perfect Location

A lovely condo in a beautiful location. Loved ease of access to so many lovely activities. Enjoyed walking to the pool, beach, and restaurants. Condo is very comfortable and welcoming and was so well appointed including a very well stocked kitchen and plenty of beach and pool gear.

The place is very clean, and it was so nice having the sheets, towels, soap, etc. all included. Even a few K cups were waiting for us! The beach chairs and beach towels were an added bonus. It's about a mile walk to the beach...not bad if you're not lugging a lot of things. However, there's lots of parking on the beach with a 4x4 or at a public lot nearby.

Tranquility

My wife and I enjoyed the peace and quiet time we spent relaxing on the screened in deck each afternoon after a day at the beach. Having bike trails directly across the street from the condo was nice for those early morning rides. We managed to take in a few of the restaurants within walking distance of the condo and found them to serve up quality food in a welcoming environment. Condo was as described on VRBO listing. We will do it again.

Tranquility is right!

The Amelia Landings complex has lots of good options for a quick beach getaway, and this one is no exception. The space was clean but homey, with comfortable furniture and amenities. This unit is on the top floor, and the screened porch looks into lush treetops. We saw a hawk land right outside the screen! The walk to the beach from Amelia Landings is easy and interesting--a path through the woods instead of street sidewalks. We also enjoy sitting by the pond and walking to DeNucci's ice cream shop every afternoon. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it to others!

Lovely vacation!

We loved the location! This was our first trip to Amelia island and we will definitely be back! The jungle walk to the beach was shaded and about 5-10 minutes to beach (much shorter and not as hot as we were used to on HHI). Some boards on jungle path are rotted and lots of ants so wear shoes. We brought our shibumi shade - wind didn’t start until late morning /early afternoon, so will bring an umbrella for backup next year. Loved the beach - not crowded. We went to right, away from the cars and basically had the beach to ourselves. Keyless entry was awesome & convenient. Communication with owner was timely and helpful. They have 4 nice tommy Bahamas beach chairs (we always bring our 2, but borrowed 2 for the kids who always try to take ours). Full sized laundry machines a plus as well as 3rd floor walk up (no elevator but we knew this - we like being on top floor). So quiet and peaceful! We had a relaxing week and really needed this vacation. Only thing you need to bring is a pearing knife, all other kitchen items are there including spices, oil, containers, etc. The floors were a bit sandy when we got there & I ran the vacuum that was there. My husband is 6’4” and the queen bed was too small (we’re used to a Cal king) - his feet hung off the bed. Otherwise we would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much!

The condo was spotless and well appointed with everything that you need! We enjoyed the hidden trail to the beach and the close proximity of restaurants and grocery stores! We had a wonderful time and would certainly rent this unit again!!

Cozy Vacation spot

The property was well-kept and tasteful. The bed was very comfortable and my kids loved the screened-in porch area. My wife and I were surprised by how beautiful the live oaks and Spanish moss were in the surrounding area. We had a great stay!

This property is floating up in the trees for a tranquil, private feel yet a short walk to the beach and several local restaurants and bars. The villas are surrounded with giant oak trees with walking paths, catch and release fishing pond, tennis courts and a swimming pool all on the property.
