Family Fun

Looking for a place to gather the family together near Beaufort? Nice open floor plan allows for time together with a space for everyone. Indoor and outdoor seating areas and an expansive deck with planty of space to relax in the backyard. Kitchen was well equipped to put together meals. Proximity to multiple boat launches was ideal for our visit. Hosts provided detailed information and provided contact details if needed.

Family Stay for weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Plenty of space for me and my parents and our too small dogs. It had everything we needed and more. Especially loved the two sunrooms to sit and relax in. The town of Beaufort is insanely cute and about eight minutes away from the house so we found ourselves there quite often. Be sure to check out the Saturday farmers market, the cute boutique stores and the Fort that is nearby as well.

Best location for our Reunion.

House was perfect. We will stay here again! Close to Beaufort, and Harlow. We loved the layout. Pictures don't do it justice!

Enjoyable, Great Location, So much space!

We loved our stay here in Beaufort. The location was wonderful for getting around to everything in under 30 minutes. We especially loved the huge yard/deck- it was perfect for the kids to play. The home itself surprised us with how big and open it was in person! Everything was clean and easy to find. Thank you for hosting us! -Carissa

Enjoyed our stay!

great location, relaxing, and quiet. Lots of space. LOVED the 4 seasons porch! The deck was just the way it is pictured with a rooster friend that came for a visit. Just a 5 min drive to the public boat ramp and 8 min ride to downtown Beaufort.! Mike the host was great to work with and VERY responsive!! Thanks Mike!

Christmas in Beaufort NC--Dec 2022

The property was exactly as listed and fully stocked with all the supplies you could need and more. My family of 5 adults and our one Beagle were definitely right at home. The house was quite spacious, with 3 separate seating spaces to gather in. The decor was beautiful in every room and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely consider staying there again. Unfortunately the temp was below freezing for most our trip so we didn't really get to enjoy the large deck and back yard.

Beaufort trip2023

We were more than pleased with this property! I have been planning this trip over a year, I have family history in this area and am working on genealogy. I will definitely be coming back and staying here if available. My favorite part of the house was the different sitting rooms, you can have privacy or watch a movie together in the sun room!! I can't think of a thing the house did not have. Very comfortable and accomadating. Great location to visit all of the small towns. I did text the host with a question and he messaged me back asap!! This is definitely a 5 star home!

Weekend Getaway to Beaufort

Beautiful peaceful stay outside of Beaufort. Host was easy to get into contact with and attentive. The house is old but certainly tastefully updated. Massive outdoor space and several areas for seating inside. Everything you could need for a short stay was available. The location was a short drive from Beaufort, but worth it for the privacy and seclusion. It would be nice if there was a TV in the common area for rainy days - it was accessible through the master bedroom only. The house was mostly clean, a bonus that clean linens were provided, however we discovered a shrimp pizza in the microwave, dog food under the kitchen island, and encountered cockroaches daily. I certainly understand the age of the house and the environment make the bugs difficult to control, but it might bother other renters. Nothing that would keep me from wanting to return, which we hope to do soon. Thank you for your hospitality.

The house is large and very comfortable. For us its location was very convenient. Our daughter and our new grandson live only about a mile from the house. We didn't use the kitchen or other amenities because we spent most of our time at our daughter's house. But everything looked nice and I wouldn't hesitate recommending it to others.

Thanksgiving Stay

Clean, comfortable house close to Beaufort Historic district & beaches

We definitely enjoyed our stay at your place. Unluckily, for us we booked during Hurricane Ian and we wound up watching rain for a couple days, but we were warm, dry, and cozy the entire time. Everything that we could possibly need was there and enjoyed family time together. Would like to visit again next year.

Great house near historic area

Spacious home with several rooms, was perfect for our family including two small children. Everything was clean and well-appointed. The host was communicative and very helpful. The town of Beaufort was a pleasant surprise, with so much history and it's right on the water. During our stay we slowly discovered that Beaufort has the best restaurants in the area and a great main street with shops and cafes.

Great for trips with kids

We rented with our 2 young kids, grandparents, and another couple and had plenty of room. Nice big back yard, although front is open without gate so if you have a dog that likes to run, bring a tie out. Short trip to downtown Beaufort and beach access. Highly recommend!

Nice quite location close to everything.

Beautifully renovated home with lots of space for the family. Close to beaches and other sites of interest. I will be staying there again.
