Deje que nuestro segundo hogar sea tu segundo hogar! Vacaciones en las hermosas islas de Hawaii! Nuestro pequeño complejo tranquilo consta de sólo 48 unidades en más de 4 acres de paraíso tropical! Desde nuestra unidad de planta baja usted puede sentarse y disfrutar de las impresionantes vistas de la puesta de sol sobre el campo de golf y el océano, o las ballenas y delfines jugando en la bahía. Nuestra unidad está totalmente equipada de la cocina, la barbacoa, hasta las sillas de playa y equipo de buceo!

También estamos ubicados dentro de 1 milla de la mejor playa de buceo en las Islas - Kahalu'u playa ya poca distancia de cerca de tiendas, restaurantes e incluso un cine. O bien, puede quedarse y disfrutar de la bonita piscina y terreno con hierba en el complejo.

Tenemos una cama de matrimonio en nuestra suite principal con bañera de hidromasaje. Una zona de dormitorio separada consiste en una doble cama de pared Murphy. Hay 2 TV, reproductor de DVD y un reproductor de CD. No se permite fumar en el interior y una pequeña mascota puede ser aceptable.

Great time on the Big Island

Excellent condo, great location for us just south of Kona, great sunset view and nice golf course backyard. Condo has everything you need, very comfortable and by far the best value of anything we had looked at. Will hopefully stay there again on our next trip.

Great spot!

We loved this place! The lanai is where we spent 95% of our onsite time, other than sleeping. Lush landscaping and unbeatable sunsets! Also great spot to enjoy morning coffee. Pool is nice, the place is clean, and the beds comfortable. What more could you want?!

Can't beat the view!

The condo was conveniently located. Roomy with 2 bathrooms. The lanai was fabulous with a view of the golf course and the ocean in the background. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Fantastic setting, with so much privacy

Condo, is starting to show its age. However its very well appointed. The setting is fantastic. Great views and sunsets. The feeling of total privacy and quiet was wonderful.

The property met all our expectations and then some. It was a quiet condo and on the level which we liked. It was very well stocked and had everything we needed. The view was beautiful and Denise was an excellent host. Hope to return.

Great value!

It was hard to leave the patio after morning cofee. View was fabulous! Felt very comfortable at the condo. Lots of little extras to make us feel at home. Lucked out on the weather so we didn't even need to use the fans. Loved staying south of Kona near my favorite snorkeling spot Kahalulu beach. Thanks for a great stay.

Beautiful Views, Hawaiian Vibes!

Our stay at this VRBO in Hawaii was amazing! The views from the lanai were absolutely gorgeous, with stunning sunsets and a beautiful ocean view that we enjoyed every day. The property was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great vacation. Denise, the host, was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. She answered all our questions quickly and made sure everything went smoothly for us. If you’re looking for a peaceful place with fantastic views and a wonderful host, this is the perfect spot. We can’t wait to come back!

Our First Visit to Kailua-Kona 10-20-23

Our Condo was spacious with a beautiful view from the Lanai. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishware, utensils and spices galore! Laundry soap provided by past guests. The owner had a guestbook which provided a wealth of information from past guests. (We signed it too!) No A/C but plenty of ceiling fans kept us comfy. Nice pool and golf course on site. Highly recommend!

Wonderful place to call home in Kona Hawaii

We enjoyed our home in Kona at Denise's condo. First, the location is excellent. With the Kona Country Club in your back yard and the ocean beyond that. This condo at Keauhou Akahi is perfectly located. It's at the southern end of Alii Drive so it's more quiet than the north end of Alii Drive. But all the shops and restaurants in Kona are a very short drive. The best of both worlds. The condo itself it very comfortable and well stocked. The beach chairs and beach gear is provided. The grill on the patio gives you dinner options. And the pool at Keauhou Akahi is steps away from the condo. We highly recommend this condo for your home away from home in Kona. Aloha. Bob & Kori

Quiet, peaceful setting

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. The location was just perfect for all the things we did and the setting on the golf course looking out at the ocean was beautiful. We were on the go a lot but found ourselves lingering longer and longer on the lanai with either our morning coffee or evening cocktails. The king size bed was comfortable and there are two full bathrooms in the unit. We have stayed in many VRBO units and we found this one to be exceptionally well stocked. The kitchen has spices, staples, paper towel, plastic wrap and any cooking utensil you might need. It was wonderful to have a washer and dryer in the unit. The pool is on the small size but a real bonus on a hot day. There are lots of windows and fans so we were very comfortable without a/c. We would not hesitate to stay again if we are blessed enough to be able to come back to Hawaii!

The location is good with beautiful views of the sunset. Unfortunately, there is no air conditioning. I wish that had been stated in the listing because it was very hot and humid. There were also quite a few dead roaches and worms and a few live roaches we disposed of. Also, there were no beach chairs or snorkel gear as stated in the listing. We couldn't take the heat. We ended up staying only 2 nights and completed our vacation at the Outrigger resort right next door.

Very nice condo with wonderful views

This condo is just 15 minutes from downtown Kona located on the 9th hole of the Kona Country Club with golf and ocean views. Well stocked with anything you might need for your stay from the kitchen to the ocean. The bed was very comfortable, and tho no air conditioning, it wasn’t needed. The ocean breezes keep you cool. The area is quiet and the Lanai a perfect place to watch the sunset and have your dinner. Denise was more than helpful when asked about staying a couple extra hours or answering questions. The manager, Tom, a great guy, but just retired. Hopefully they will have as much luck with the new property manager. I would come back to this little slice of paradise in a heartbeat. Thank you Denise for sharing your home.

Wonderful place to relax

We stayed four nights in this condo. Aboslutely loved it. The unit is close to the beach and the shopping centers as well as the Kailua Village where most vacationers hang-out. The view from backyard was breathtaking overlooking the golf course and ocean. I highly recommend this place for people who want to be close to actions but appreciate some quietness and privacy to enjoy the paradise. The unit itself is well decorated and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything we may need to cook. Eating home-cooked dinner at the patio while watching the sunset was definitely the highlight of our stay. Also there are very few of the one bedroom units come with 2 full bathroom. We are family of 3 and really love the fact that there is no waiting line for the showers in the morning or coming back from the beach.

A lovely spot to see whales and sunsets!

We totally enjoyed our 3 weeks in this condo. Spent the majority of our time on the lanai enjoying the views. Saw many whales and loved the wildlife. We fed the birds oatmeal and the goldfinches, red caps, doves, cardinals and others with no names were fun to watch. Two times we were visited by a pair of pheasants that came right to our door! Saw the mongoose that lives in the rock pile. This condo was well stocked and even had some condiments in the fridge for our use. Made use of the washer and dryer several times. The bedroom has a very comfortable king bed. Bring earplugs if early noise bothers you because being on a golf course means early mornings for the maintenance crews! All in all a wonderful stay...Mahalo for letting us enjoy your piece of paradise!

Bugs! Not as expected

Bugs! There was a huge issue with bugs in this condo. The first night a cockroach crawled out from under the pillow onto my arm. The pest control was scheduled to come the following day but did not help. Lots of flying cockroaches and gnats, the entire week of our stay! We have stayed in Hawaii many times and have never experienced this kind of discomfort. The owner was apologetic and sent a $100 gift card as a credit for our uncomfortable stay. While this was nice, I much rather would have had an accurate description of the condo before. This was the absolute worst part of our Hawaiian vacation.

Paradise in Kona Hawaii

We were fortunate enough to visit all 4 islands on this trip. The Big Island was the first of our Hawaii travels. My husband & I agree that the Big Island is our favorite island. We definitely felt right at home from day one. We absolutely loved staying at Denise's condo. It was central to our daily activities. Quiet location with great ocean views. The accommodations were perfect for us. Nice king-sized bed, 2 bathrooms (1 for each of us), roomy kitchen/living room. With the lanai on the ground floor, we could walk out to our "yard" and feed the birds. Each morning a wild pheasant would "call" my husband out to feed him on the lanai. Before we left, the pheasant was eating out of my husbands' hand! Having the grill on the lanai was so much nicer than having to cook in a grilling area as we found in so many places. It truly felt like our home away from home and Denise is terrific in communicating and making you feel like a friend. Next time we travel to the Big Island, we will look no further than Denise's condo! Thanks so much Denise for sharing your home with us. Celia & Alan C.
