I’ve stayed at the Victorian since I was a child and now I get to bring my own kids. I’m so glad it’s still there for me to share with them

Overall pretty good

Wifi was basically non-existent which is frustrating but we are glad they atleast had dvds to watch and board games to play because it rained most of the time we were there.

OK but not great

No chairs on the balcony. Blow dryer did not work. Left a shirt and they wanted 35 plus shipping to send it back. That is a joke. We own a VRBO and would never do that and that is why these "agencies" are more trouble than they are worth trying to deal with them.

Great Spot

We decided to book a quick trip to the coast for Memorial day, and this is the condo that we found. For consideration, we are a family of 4...but our kids are small so we would not take up as much space as 4 adults. Pros The space was just like the pictures show, the only difference is the balcony view does not appear to be this unit, but honestly it felt like a better spot in my opinion. It does overlook the pool, and because you are a bit closer to the front of the buildings you can see the ocean as well. It was a nice view. The space was clean and setup well for our family. We were not tripping over each other and everyone had space to relax. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the bunk beds. There is a fridge, even though you cannot see it. It is bigger than a minifridge, and worked well for what we needed. Everyone was very nice and helpful. It is located right next to a Walmart, so you can easy get what you need. It is also on the seawall, and there are several restaurants and eateries along there for your dining needs. Cons... The are really only 2 things I can think of here. 1) The parking can be pretty tight under the condos. 2) There is also a window to corridors in the bedroom, and there is a light from the corridor that sits pretty much right outside the window and made it sort of bright in there. In the scheme of things, these were very minor considering the setup and location.

Great place, great time

Check in the front was easy and the attendant was super sweet and friendly. I was confused by the key pad because we didn’t get a code but a key out of a lock box. A key pad code would have been easier It’s a pretty facility out front but the condos it self looked a bit dingy. The numbers to the room is confusing but you get the hang of it. It looks the same as online. Very clean. The TV stopped working during our stay but that wasn’t a big deal because we didn’t plan on being in the room a lot. We reported it. They have everything you need, even board games to play. The bathroom is pretty tight and no counter Space at all but we made do. The beds were great. Love the bunk beds. So much space for a small condo! Fridge is small but worked fine. We loved the pools especially the kid friendly one. Close to Kroger and Walmart. Eat at the Spot and the place across from the pier 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Overall we had a great time. Can’t wait to go back.

Okay- but might look elsewhere next time around

I’ve stayed at these particular condos many times as we Frequent Galveston a lot although I have never booked this exact condo before. I did put this last minute was about two or three days until check-in. I sent a message to the property right away after booking to request early check in.. no answer. I must’ve sent About 20 messages as we were in route since I had yet to heard anything from them. No check in info, no code, no reply on my request for early check in. Long story short my family and I were sitting outside the condo for a hour at least in 100 degrees + temps trying to get in contact with anyone who could help get us inside our condo. The front desk lady was extremely helpful but don’t think I’ll book with this particular “ host” again.

The place is older than the pictures look. The elevator is very small with no air, the floor numbers never matched the floor you were on. The whole place lost electricity for 3 hours, couldn’t get in touch with anyone to see what the problem was. The toilet gets hung up, so you have to shake it to stop running.
