Great location for families!

This condo had everything we needed for an awesome family vacation. We have been coming to Gulf Highlands with our kids for many years now and keep coming back. The location is great and there is so much to do!

Summer vacation

Gated community with security guards 24/7. Located right in the center of all attractions, shopping, restaurants and beach. Less than a 5 minute drive to all your needs. Super easy check-in and checking out. We will definitely be back!

Had a great stay!!

This property was very nice! Owners were nice and got back to us within an hour of contacting them! Its a little bit of a walk to the beach but the stay was everything we could ask for.

Nice place

We stayed here for softball and the location to everything was great. We had amazon deliver a few things and they put in mailbox and we didnt have the key. Property owner answered right away and got us the key asap. His communications with everything was great and helped us tremendously. Would definitely stay here again!

This unit is great if you are looking for a budget friendly option with a fair amount of room within walking distance of the beach. The unit itself is a little dated, but roomy. It was nice having a pool so nearby and our kids enjoyed the put put. The amenities were convenient but not nothing fancy. I will note that it is about an 8 to 10 minute walk to the beach from this unit, which can feel like a lot with littles in toe.

Needed Cleaning

Upon arrival we found that bed linens had not been changed and master bath had not been fully cleaned. We had to clean and wash ourselves. Contacted the property owner who responded promptly and offered to have the cleaning crew come back and re-clean. Overall, a great place to stay with access to beach, shopping and all amenities. Very responsive and attentive host…he just needs a new cleaning service.

Summer vacation 2023

The place was very clean and organized. Everything we needed was there. Centrally located in a gated area. Owners were prompt to answer and questions or concerns. Beds were comfortable and the whole place was very roomy and homey. We all enjoyed ourselves.

So frustrating

Our stay here was ruined by constant complications. My friends and I booked this property for 4 days/3 nights well in advance. On the day of our arrival (mere hours before our check-in time!!!) I received a message from the host saying that there was some sort of mix up and our trip would now have to start the next day. I don't know how that could happen since I definitely booked it correctly through VRBO. I scrambled to find last minute accommodations for the night, which were less than optimal, as were were already on the long drive to PCB. The host gave us a refund for the night, which freed up some funds for a hotel room, and agreed to let us check-in a bit earlier for the inconvenience, but then he pushed that back as well. We hoped that the rest of our short trip would go smoothly but we had no such luck. Once it was finally time to check in to the property I entered the door code that I was sent and it didn't work. I managed to get in touch with the host who gave me several more codes to try, which also did not work. We ended up having to open the door by reaching into the adjacent window which had been left unlocked. Once we were already in the property, the host finally gave me code I could use. After being there for a few minutes, the power went out several times. This was worrisome since we had groceries that needed refrigeration and we needed the AC. Eventually the power came back on by itself but it was still really inconvenient since the bathrooms have no windows, forcing us to shower in the dark. There were also some problems with the property such as the blinds in the second bedroom have no way of closing and even with its curtains closed, there is still lots of light 24/7 in there. There were also half-used mini bottles of shampoo/conditioner from the previous guests left for us, there was a mysterious liquid in the freezer, only a few of our pillows had pillowcases, we were left with no parking passes, and the lightbulb in the master bathroom's light went out completely. Also, the listing is misleading since it doesn't look out onto the ocean and the picture of the water slides are off site at a different property entirely. To top off this nightmarish trip, the power went out again while we were trying to check out, but only on the second floor(???). There were so many issues and I spent the whole time communicating with the host instead of relaxing and having fun. I don't usually complain, but this is truly unacceptable.
