Modern loft in a  thoughtfully renovated 1913 High School within walking distance to Lake Michigan beaches and downtown attractions.



Old school charm meets contemporary modern style in this immaculate loft style condo. Located in the heart of South Haven, this spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath loft offers 16 ft ceilings and 12 oversized tall windows that bring in lots of natural light.Guests will enjoy the exposed brick, original hardwood floors, granite countertops and well appointed kitchen. The large private primary bedroom and ensuite master bath are perfect for relaxing and unwinding after a day at the beach or downtown shopping.



This loft is located within convenient walking distance to all that South Haven has to offer. Just 10 minutes ( 6 blocks) from the beach and 2 minutes (2 blocks) from farmers market, marina, shopping and restaurants. Exceptional on-site amenities include an indoor/outdoor pool with hot tub, large outdoor patio with community gas grills, 2 movie theatres an fitness room and an additonal patio with firepit.



South Haven and the surrounding West Michigan area are magical. The owners fell in love with the physical beauty of the dunes and timeless shoreline of Lake Michigan, the changing seasons, ample hiking trails, farm-to-table-dining, vibrant wine/craft beer and spirits scene and oh those sunsets never get old! Whether playing in the waves, snoozing on the sand or raising a glass to another good story, Dune Haven at Central Lofts offers the perfect location to relax in comfort, unwind and explore with all your senses. It is a fun space to hang out with friends and family – dine out, take out or enjoy putting something on the grill after a day at the lake or walking in the woods – relax, unwind and explore this beautiful setting with all your senses! We certainly do!

Weekend getaway

Great accommodations that were close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the pool and hot tub were a nice bonus as we had them to ourselves. Will definitely stay here again.

Perfect location

Great spot, stay in the heart of South Haven. Easily walk to shops and restaurants. The condo was clean, check in was smooth and communication was easy. The pool was a nice bonus. Would definitely stay here again!

Dune Haven was a wonderful place to stay and very walkable to everything we wanted to do in downtown South Haven. The furnishings were comfortable and we loved the old school bldg renovated into condos. One note is that there is no elevator and if you’re on the second floor, you have to lug your things up a floor. But we managed!

South Haven Vacation

Great loft for my family. It was close to downtown and the beach. My kids loved the pool and we used it daily. All the residents we interacted with were friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this location to anyone spending time in South Haven.

Loved it!

We absolutely loved this property! The whole concept of the building was so cool! Our family of 4 stayed there very comfortably and would love to return someday! Flags were red on the beach one of our days there which was devastating for our kids, but it was so nice to be able to come back and use the pool! Highly recommend this place!

This teacher loved staying in this renovated high school. Loved the space, decor, location and unique furnishings. It was beautiful with comfy beds, a well stocked kitchen and plenty of room. What a great use of an old building! We loved our stay at Dune Haven.

My kids absolutely loved the pool! The place was very nice and well maintained. It had all the stuff you need for a family vacation, would highly recommend this listing. The only hiccup we had was in communication when I was trying to book an extra night stay because my kids were having so much fun, but it worked out in the end.

Spectacular!! Loved every second

This property was spectacular! Absolute perfection. We stayed with my kids and it was awesome all the way around. We watched 4 movies in the theater, walked to town, swam in the pool and hot tub, and used the gym. The master bedroom was just beautiful, I wish it was my own!

Going back to school was a blast!

Wonderful property in a renovated high school. Our boys loved the pool/patio area and the movie theater. The condo was spacious and worked well for 2 adults and 3 children. The youngest was 6 and he slept on a pull out chair which was comfortable for him. Great location and very walkable to downtown and the local farmer's market.

My girls and I wanted a few days away to relax over spring break. This was the perfect cozy spot. Quick walk to the pier, shopping and restaurants. The pool and hot tub were a bonus! What a cool idea to renovate an old high school. I can also say it was very clean. Thanks for sharing your space. We hope to stay again!

Awesome place,great location...could be cleaner

Overall excellent property and location. Amenities are amazing! There was a lot of dusty areas and the bathroom sinks and vanities had some old toothpaste and such. Otherwise, perfect place to stay in South Haven. If you have little ones, the doors slide and are noisy and the floors squeak. Nothing crazy but something to note if you have light sleepers. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

We loved everything! The movie theatre, pool and fire pit were a big hit with my kids. It is walking distance from everything except the beach- would be too far with all the stuff required to bring to the beach. BUT, there is plenty of parking at the beach. Amazing! thanks.

Incredible Place

Stayed here for the Ice Fest Weekend. Will be back. Easy access to downtown, close parking and walk to. our room. The pool and hot tub are very clean. Didn't use the theater, hopefully next time. Our place was spacious, with a phenomenal dining/living room. Luckily, it was a sunny Saturday morning, and with the large windows, was perfect.

Restorative Retreat

Dune Haven condo was immaculate, in a great location with the added joy of an indoor pool and hot tub. The lake is a reasonable walk even for us long lifers (in our 70s). The condo itself was the best stocked condo that I have experienced and have traveled all over the world. The personal at Shore Management were outstanding. Very friendly and quickly responded twice to our minor questions. Thank for a lovely break. I’m hoping to stay at Dune Haven again and for longer next time! Linn

Unique and Convenient

My family of four truly enjoyed our stay at Dune Haven. The condo was larger than I thought it would be, which is always a pleasant surprise. The building has a fun community feel and my sons (10 &12) loved using the pool and watching a movie in the theater. (Note that the DVD players in the theaters are not BluRay - we went to our local library and picked up some DVDs to bring, but there were also DVDs available at the rental). The location was amazing. Very short walk to restaurants and the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and dinnerware. There was also a good selection of board games and books, which was a nice touch. It may be important to some folks that there is no elevator for use in the building and this unit is on the second floor. This was not an issue for us. We really enjoyed our stay and are already talking about returning next summer!

We had a wonderful stay! The building is very cool with lots of fun amenities. We loved the tall ceilings, all the space, the super comfortable beds, and large windows. The location is close to everything. The condo was very clean! We had the pool, hot tub, and theatre all to ourselves. The pool is fairly cold but my daughter and husband spent a lot of time in it regardless, and we all loved the hot tub for relaxing. Highly recommend staying here :)
