Nestled in North Scituate, and only 3 miles from the commuter train, this property affords the option of a day trip to Boston, returning to spectacular sunsets while enjoying dinner and conversation on a unique complete wrap-around deck perched over the Atlantic.
Of course it boasts all of the modern amenities; air conditioning, generous appliances, large bedrooms, all with breathtaking views of the ocean, beach or pond, and a floor plan that invites both long lazy days watching sea life together as well as space for quiet moments.. The evenings will be unforgettable as you relax while listening the waves crashing just steps away.

Excellent property inside and out. We loved watching the tide come in and go out. It was a lot of fun. We’d love to come back sometime. The owner was very responsive and helpful.

We had a terrific time. Property was just as described and had everything we needed. Beautiful views from the porch and the beach was just a few steps away. Conveniently located to lots of small coastal towns and easy access to public transportation to Boston. Would definitely stay again.

A Gem

Cannot beat this spectacular location. We watched the tides come in and out; an entirely new view every few hours. Very comfortable for our four young adult children; everyone had their own space. The house was clean and well appointed with cooking staples in the kitchen. We will absolutely come again. Unforgettable. Communication was excellent; host is very helpful.

Great Beach House

This property is an excellent place to stay if you’re looking for lots of room, super clean house, well proportioned rental, and relaxation. The property owner is easy to get along with and super informative. Any questions were promptly answered. If you want a place to stay that will relax you and a town that is quaint with plenty of restaurants and shopping, stay at the property. We went there to celebrate my 50th birthday and the property added to my enjoyment.

Paradise by the Sea

The beautiful location alone would have made this an amazing stay, but the house itself deserves as much praise. The beds are very comfortable, the towels and linens are soft and fresh. The decorations are warm and inviting without being overwhelming - it felt like MY space for the week. We cooked most meals in the well stocked kitchen which included a hood properly vented to the outside. A rainy day stuck inside was well accommodated by the open floor plan, and in good weather the outdoor spaces were such a joy.

Great vacation on the beach

We had a great time here. It was very clean and had all the essentials. Just steps away from the beach. Great sunset and sunrise views. Close to shops, restaurants, and grocery stores.

A Special Place To Relax and Recharge

What an amazing house. This house is just steps away from the ocean and surrounded by beauty. The kitchen is well equipped, the rooms are spacious, and the host is amazingly responsive. We will be back!

Love this place!

We stayed in this home after a Cooperstown tournament. We needed a place where we could enjoy time with family and friends and a place that was close enough to commute to Boston. I have never heard of Scituate and wow, I fell in love. The home was amazing and the location right on the water was an added bonus. Our teen searched for crabs for hours and enjoyed some beach time. We also grabbed some lobster from a near by store and had a lobster boil. It felt just like home. We created memories our children will remember forever. We visited the light house, the downtown area with lots of great restaurants and shops. We took the train to Boston for a Red Sox game and we also enjoyed some tours there. Also the home is close enough to New England Six Flags so we drove there for the day. Nothing bad to say about this place. George was great to work with and answered all the questions I had. We hope to visit the east side again and if we do, we know where we will stay.

I Already Miss the Sound Waves Crashing

I have a group of 7 friends who meet every summer somewhere in the world (we travel from 6 different countries) last year was Portugal and this year, we were fortunate to secure this beautiful summer home, nearly on top of the water, for our USA 2023 trip. There’s a beach next door (a 2 min walk along the water) that has a low tide that was great for boogie boarding, evening swimming, and more. Directly in front of the house is a rocky area - that was great to find crabs and other sea creatures at low tide (the 12ish year olds loved it). We felt so warmly welcomed into the house and loved that some left over condiments were kept in the fridge and cabinets to save us from buying every slice we might need. Beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, coffee to welcome us - the outdoor shower - the 2 levels of decking - make that 3 with the bedroom decks included - all the windows and two sets of screen doors…made the house perfect for a summer time experience. We also had such easy access to do other activities from there - we road bikes into the harbor to see the lighthouse and hang on the jetty, or to get lunch, when the kids wanted a break from the beach we drove to Starland, we did a ton. I can’t not mention - we could hear the ocean waves from every bedroom - whether beach facing or not - it was such a great way to fall asleep and wake up - bonus! We had a great week with many thanks to George for making us feel welcomed and at home.

Perfect Family Beach House

Our recent stay at this house was incredible! We have been coming to Scituate for 30 years, and this house is tops! Nothing beats the gorgeous oceanfront views from all the rooms and the wrap-around porch! Location-wise, the proximity to Egypt Beach makes swimming an option even during low tide. You can swim out front of the cottage during high tide, and low tide offers tons of tide pools that our kids loved exploring. George was attentive, accommodating, and genuinely warm from the moment we booked. Any questions or concerns we had were promptly addressed, and he went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable - we asked if they had boogie boards, and he went right out and bought some! His local recommendations for dining and activities added an extra layer of enjoyment to our vacation. The beach house was incredibly well appointed, with every detail carefully considered to ensure a comfortable stay. It felt like a home away from home, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches that made our stay so enjoyable, like comfortable king-sized beds, games and puzzles, beach chairs, and an outdoor shower. We can't recommend this beach house enough for families seeking a beach retreat. We're already counting down the days until we can return!

Family Fun Weekend

We flew from CA to meet our son and his family and had a great time. The house was ready, clean and inviting. We used our family time to walk the beach, play family games and make memories of fun and laughter. I suggest for a family fun weekend this house is the perfect location and atmosphere:)

Fun by the Beach

We had a great stay at this house that is right at the water's edge, with a short walk to a sandier area of the beach. In August, the sea water was cold, but tolerable. The house has a beautiful interior and plenty of room to sleep 10. Two of the upstairs rooms have balconies on the ocean, and you could choose to fall asleep to the sound of the waves on the beach and wake to the sun rise, like my wife and I did, or shut out the sound completely like my sister-in-law and her husband. We all enjoyed the comfy living room, and grilling on the wrap-around porch.

Wonderful home in a wonderful location!

We had such a great time staying here. George was so helpful and kind. Our check in and check out was easy. Our kids had a great time playing on the beach, playing with toys, and reading books that were thoughtfully left in the house. The home was a fantastic space, perfect for our two families of 4 to cook, play, and relax together. Would love to return!

Excellent Family Reunion House

This was the perfect house for our family reunion! The ocean facing deck and patio were our favorite places to be! Coffee in the morning, lunch in the shade watching the boats at sea, and dinner and evening star gazing to end the day. Bring your binoculars! Plenty of chairs and space on decks and inside for both larger group conversations as well as small chats. Loved going to sleep listening to the waves! George and Renee's attention to detail ensured the house had a relaxing coastal feeling. The beach towels, beach chairs, and outdoor shower, were also very much appreciated. We want to return and are already talking about what we will do on our next stay!

Perfect Family Spot

We absolutely loved our stay! George was very responsive and incredibly accommodating. The house was perfect to accommodate our large family. The location was ideal for the adults to relax on the beach/porch while like kids played in the sand and explored the rocks. We will definitely be coming back!!

Awesome house!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful house. George and Renee are wonderful hosts. They are very responsive and thought of so many extras to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The house was very clean and well stocked with many necessities. It is exactly as pictured if not better. The location and views couldn't be better!!! Sunrises and sunsets were absolutely incredible from the deck. I have rented beach houses up and down the east coast for years and this was one of our favorites! I highly recommend and hope to stay here again!

A special place. You feel your stress melt away sitting on the deck. The ocean is both peaceful and demanding of your attention.
Nature abounds! Tide pools, birds, beach walks, great cycling, hiking trails, and surfers- all outside our door. Minutes to town with pubs, restaurants and shopping. A great place to relax, recharge and reconnect.
