Our entire stay was magical! The house is beautiful and being right on the water was surreal. The walk to the beach area is a stone throw away and being able to enjoy both a sunrise and sunset was everything we had hoped for! We traveled with our teen son and daughter and the house gave us all our own space while offering plenty to do as a family. The firepit and porch swing were among the favorites!

Perfect home on the ocean side!

Celebrated our 60th anniversary with our children and grandchildren. Perfect for our seven adults and one teenager. If you want the sound of the ocean to sleep by, this is the home for you.

Beautiful Home Away From Home

This house was amazing! The views were breathtaking and we absoltuely loved being right on the beach. The house also had all of the comforts of home and so much more! We sat on the wrap aroud porch during the day and by the fire at night. Fun water toys (paddle board and kayaks). Everything was provided from shampoo to sunblock. The location is close to restaurants and shopping. Great for families! We would definitely recommend this place to others and will be staying here again!

Another great stay

This home is beautiful! Spectacular views and location.Exceptionally clean and neat, beautifully decorated, well stocked to the point you will need to shop for anything while you are there.The sound of the waves at night are so relaxing after a busy day. The beds were very comfortable to the point our 5 year old grandson asked to take his bed home with him. Every morning there were seals in the water which was exciting to watch.All the amenities listed are available and communication with the owners was excellent!One of the nicest properties we have rented through VRBO, looking forward to our return.

For the past 14 years my sisters, Mom and I have rented a vacation home together, this year we found this incredible home on Egypt Beach in Scituate! We could not have had a nicer time. The interior is beautiful! The main floor, with its walls of windows with nothing but ocean views is spectacular. The porch is so relaxing, and the sunsets!The beds were comfortable, showers were great and the house is fully stocked, no need to worry about forgetting something.We can’t wait to go back! Thank you Tamatha and Paul for a wonderful vacation!

Relaxing Fall stay

We had a wonderful time at this house! The waves come so close to the house at high tide. There’s a porch on the deck to sit and sway gently in the breeze. Magical!

We spent 6 nights here recently and loved every minute of our stay. We know the area and love the location. This house is beautiful, and very well supplied. The hosts were very accommodating, communicative and a pleasure to deal with. Everything was excellent. We will be back!

Situate Beauty

Beautiful home, for a friends or family gathering! Took us two hours to get to the airport in Boston… Lots of traffic to deal with. If you want a quiet seaside retreat, this is great! Lovely shops and restaurants in the area.

Beautiful location and views!

House is in a beautiful location, with wonderful views, right on the water. We loved the porch where you could sit on the porch swing or couch and watch the waves crash just in front of the house. The rooms and beds were comfortable. The common areas were comfortable and set up for a nice relaxing time with family. No real private beach area on this property, as it was all large boulders. But, you could walk the beach ( mostly pebbles and rocks). w e enjoyed exploring between the large rocks, finding rock crabs, mussels, snails and other tiny ocean life. If you wanted to sit, swim or take your shoes off, there were better beaches you could drive to. The town and surrounding areas have places to eat, etc. Noticed that some of the furnishings were a bit worn. It is not a place for you, if you expected A+ cleanliness. Overall, we loved our time there!

Fabulous all around home

This property is of excellent quality in excellent location, and I cannot say enough about our positive stay. We (myself, my husband, and friends) stayed here for a week to attend a 50th Hingham High School Reunion. The third-floor oceanfront bedroom is a slice of heaven, and the 2nd floor master is the whole pie. The other bedrooms were fine. Even the bed in the loft room is larger than seen in the photo, however you must be a sound sleeper. The house is stocked - there is nothing you will ever need. Communication with owners was quick and they handle the few early glitches immediately! Love it and can't wait to return.

Exceptional is the best way describe the experience from communicating with the host to the cleanliness of this home. Practically Perfect

I was looking for something to celebrate my 50th birthday with close friends and my 2 teenage daughters, that was on the water with lots of space and great views... I found it! This was the best! It was clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed! Lots of space so we didn't feel like we were packed in... And the views! Wow. Didn't have to buy any kitchen basics which was nice. Definitely not a "sandy" beach but we still enjoyed it! Even did some paddle boarding. Super convenient to shops and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend!!

Amazing Home

The house is right on the water. It's amazing! At high tide and sitting on the porch or in the living room you feel like you are on the water. The views from every room are of the ocean! The large kitchen and dining area is great for large groups. Our youngest group member was 18 months and the oldest 72. We had 3 families stay here. We enjoyed making smores a couple nights at the fire pit. While there are plenty of restaurants to dine out at we found we preferred cooking at the home and enjoying the ocean front view with our meals. The hosts are responsive and available if you need anything. We had a great stay and hope to visit again!

Brilliant house and location

We loved this house and the location. The house had spectacular rooms with beautiful views. Also we had a multi generational group and the living spaces easily divided into sub areas for each generation and then bigger areas for whole group activities. The kids loved the safe access to the rocks and beach. Nearby Scituate had a great selection of restaurants and shops. You could even get into Boston by public transit.

Holiday stay 2021

Had a wonderful time at this property even though part of our group was unable to make it. We had a great time relaxing in the house- taking long walks- just spending time together. It was a wonderful house to just relax in- tons of spaces for everyone to be together or apart as well as spaces to watch movies together and even a perfect puzzle table. We cooked at home nearly the whole time and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. Even though it wasn’t a typical “ beach” vacation- being so close to the water was amazing. Would recommend this house without issue- hope to be back in the future!

A wonderful weekend away!

The home was spectacular, top notch everything and amazing views from each room. We couldn't have asked for a better home to host our weekend away. No need to ever leave the house, but quaint town and plenty to explore if you do. And the owners are extremely responsive and accommodating. Thank you Paul and Tamatha for a perfect getaway.

The open and closed porches offer both an opportunity for sunbathing and covering from the sun while enjoying the beautiful Atlantic. The quiet and quaint neighborhood provides a private beach with enough space inside and outside to host a large family/ friend gathering.
