I would absolutely stay here again. It was only my son and I so it may get cramped for more than 2, but we loved it. Clean, comfortable, great views.

Not the Sandbars I once loved

Got in town at 4PM, no person to great & welcome you ! Wasn’t able to pay remaining balance in cash as I planned. Room was not cleaned. Total mess. Had to gets 10 digits code to get into room After completing did get $200 refund Did not clean daily as previous during stays. Will try Different Inn next time

Everything was good

We enjoyed our recent stay. Great view from our balcony on second floor. Room was clean (except for musty extra blankets). Overall, a very pleasant stay! Thanks

Dissapointed

We booked a stay here for 2 adults and 2 children. We have been on many vacations with our family in the past and whenever leaving any previous booking we are always saying "we have to go back there!!" this is the first time we were counting down the hours until we could just check out and be comfortable in our own home. We would have been better off at a hotel, this was a step down from that. PROS: -If you have a dog this "hotel" and beach is pet friendly. Our unit itself said no pets, though judging by all the dog hair my assumption is people must still bring them. -The semi private beach includes propane fire pits and grills for vacationers use. Be sure to bring grilling tools if you are going to be grilling though. -Great location to other attractions in town or surrounding towns. -Beautiful sunset views out the balcony -Water pressure in the showers in sink is great and has good hot water. CONS: -Dog poop ALL over the beach... watch where you walk... my daughter constantly saying "Mommy whats this!?" -After sitting my 7 month old on the carpet 5 minutes after arriving I picked him up to find him COVERED in dog hair. -The tiled kitchen/hallway and bathroom floor was disgusting... us and our kids had to wear shoes in our unit because our feet were getting so dirty and it just felt gross. -When it was time for dinner we found the unit only had 2 plates and 2 forks so we had to take turns eating. If you're a group of 2 staying then that shouldn't be a problem. -Many of the dishes in the cabinets were very very dirty- I blame more of the previous tenants because we always clean up after ourselves but it would be good for whoever checks in on the unit after people leave just to be sure everything is ready for the next people coming. -Unit provides a keurig with a few paper cups... no tea or coffee k-cups though so be sure to bring those. -Would be helpful to provide a dust pan and broom so we could pick up after ourselves during our stay or clean up a bit when we arrived for that matter... This is the very first trip we have felt we did not want to return. North Truro is phenomenal and we have stayed at 3 different homes so far there, all of which in a heart beat we would return to. Maybe it was best to not try to explore something different because we were counting down the hours to when we could check out and leave.
