Another successful VRBO summer '24 and please read the 35 Five Star Reviews. New for '25; a Commercial Ice Maker and all new Smart TVs (5) and dock area added with new loungers. Beautifully decorated large family home located on the premier lake destination: The Lake of the Ozarks. Nestled on the "quiet side" of The Lake at the 39.5MM. Incredible view of the main channel. You can hang out in the cove or take your boat to the main channel and explore the many miles of fishing, boating, restaurants and natural wonders of the lake.
A wonderful retreat where you can experience all four seasons. Several inviting outside gathering areas- deck, screened porch, fire pit all overlooking the lake. Private dock with sun deck, lily pad, two kayaks and open boat slip (10 x 26 ) available for use and included in price. Can also tie up a larger boat and boat ramps close by. Plenty of space for sleeping and lounging. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms which includes a large master with shower, jetted tub, coffee bar and private door to screened in porch. The kitchen is open to the family and dining area which has an expansive view of the lake.
You will love the large gathering areas as well as secluded spaces to enjoy an early morning coffee or an evening glass of wine with family and friends. Guests will enjoy relaxing on the deck, grilling some dinner on the gas grill and/or charcoal grill and at night stargazing making smores over the firepit by the water's edge.

Note; Please feel free to contact on any questions on your boat fitting into dock, can use lift if V-bottom under 5500LBs.
Also, 30 stair steps total to lake from house, divided by a flagstone path.

Lovely vacation spot convenient to restaurants, stores and entertainment. Good fishing on a very nice lighted dock even had fans, plenty of lounge chairs, fun lily pad and kayaks. Midway to dock the landing had charcoal grill and fire pit with supplies provided. Ice machine saved us a million trips to the store. Outdoor dining great for kids. Kitchen had all the supplies needed and very spacious well designed house. Seamless checkin, very responsive host who provides advance information.

The house is a perfect lake house with all the amenities one could want. Lake toys, a place to put your boat, fun dock to hang, the house was comfy with clean accommodations and well stocked. Plenty of kitchen supplies, extra towels, televisions in every room, cooler, TP, trash bags, hand soap all the stuff we normally have pick up. The host always responded right away, was easy to work with when we added an extra day and made us feel very welcome. Neighbors are great. We didn’t want to leave and will be back.

Had a great time staying at Kurt's place for the 4th of July. House was as advertised and worked extremely well for our group! Ice maker was an awesome feature for the coolers to pack up for the boat / dock space. Greatly enjoyed the dock amenities (chairs, lily pad, wet steps). Boat lift also worked great for a Nautique GS22 wake / surf boat. Kurt was a great host and very communicative. Would 100% stay here again.

Perfect place for girl’s weekend

Seven ladies in one home for four days. Perfect home for all our activities. Great time at the lake. Great time bbq’ing and eating together. Great spot on deck to hold a spa night. Beds were comfortable. Bath facilities worked great. The owner was very responsive with our questions. So many memories made to last a lifetime.

Perfect place for a getaway.

This was my favorite VRBO so far. It is a beautiful property and the house was clean, comfortable, roomy enough for us 6 adults and had everything we needed. A quiet location in the woods and close to town for groceries, restaurants or a beer run. It was perfect!

Very nice property

Nice house with everything we needed for long weekend. We enjoyed being on the quiet side of the lake, it was so peaceful and relaxing. We also enjoyed the wildlife. I would recommend, the host was accommodating and helpful! They even left a welcome gift for us:-)

Best place so far

We have been renting VRBO houses for sometime now. This house was the best so far and the owner is as well, even checking in with us during our stay to see how it was going. Beautiful house, dock, etc. Thank you for sharing this with us and we definitely hope to return in the future. THE BEST

Excellent well stocked home on the lake!

Easy check in and check out! Great communication with the owner! There was room for our whole family. Close to restaurants on the lake and Woods grocery store is nearby. Lots of water toys and a nice dock! Would love to stay here again!!

SO happy we found this property!

We have been vacationing in the Ozarks for 5+ years and have rented several homes in the process. All have come with their pros and cons except this one. We loved EVERYTHING about this home. Exceptionally clean, wonderful/private cove with still an awesome view of the lake, and just a beautiful home. Kurt was so easy to work with and very accommodating, His home has been very well maintained with amazing detail. Looking forward to bringing our family back again next year!

Great property!

This property is amazing. We enjoyed the spacious outdoor space on the porch and deck as well as the dock. Plenty of table and chairs outside in so many different places to enjoy at any time of day. Having a boat slip for the fishing boat was also a bonus. We would definitely stay her again. The host provided great area information and was very prompt at answering any questions we had during our stay.

Great Experience

Kurt was great to communicate with and had great detail on activities around the area. We brought our boat and had a map of the nearest boat ramp provided before arrival. Would most definitely stay here again.

From the very first communication with the owner we knew this was going to be a great stay! Owner was very timely, concise and so easy to communicate with. Great place!

Loved the house, the property and the stay! Caution, the house sits high up the hill, which takes 40+ steps to go from boat dock to house deck. It was fine for me and my wife, but my sister in law has knee problems, and the stairs proved too cumbersome for her after a couple of days and then she wouldn't desend them anymore, and just stayed up by the house. So if anyone in your party has a knee replacement like her, you might want to take that into account.

Great family weekend on the lake!

All of the comforts of home, with an unexpected welcome package when we arrived. The access to the lake was easy, water was great, and the added kayaks, noodles, liky pad, and life vests made our stay very memorable. Kat, our 9 year old great niece wanted to be in the water all of the time. The property was very clean and lovely. We enjoyed the firepit, roasting hotdogs and making s'mores after we were done swimming. We will definitely come back. The owner was pro-active and a great communicator. It was a very nice, relaxing weekend on the lake.

2023 Lake of the Ozarks family vacation

We met my brother and his family for a 5 night stay at Kurt’s place. The house was wonderful for the 8 of us, and our 24 ft boat fit nicely on the lift. The house is on a bit quieter part of the lake, which meant swimming and floating off the dock was very enjoyable as we weren’t tossed around from giant cruiser wakes! No complaints, great stay!

Wonderful lake house

We stayed here for a week with oor teens. We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect- clean, great outdoor space, well equipt, etc. I highly recommend staying at this property!

If you are looking for a lake house, this is the one for you. Lovely house, relaxing time in a quiet part of the lake. 10/10 would recommend. Hope to come back next year!
