Great Location on Southern shoreline of Lake Marion

This home provides spaces for family gatherings and quiet spaces to just relax by yourself. The main living area is a Huge Great room that has a kitchen center island bar with 7 bar stools - dining table and tv/couch area. Many windows view the covered porch that has 2 glass-top dining tables/chairs and the sandy beach/pier area. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths on this level. The lower level has 2bdrms, 1 full bath, den, sitting room/6th bedroom and laundry area. The landscaped yard is level for easy access to the Sandy Beach and lighted Pier. Very nice views of Lake Marion. The position of the properties allows for views and protected boat/jet ski parking along the pier or beach.

**Please note that during the winter months, the lake level is lowered to allow homeowners to maintain docks. Our dock may or may not be accessible by water due to this. Please inquire to us on status if dock accessibility is important. Thank you for understanding we have no control over the lake level.

I grew up in the area and stay on the lake frequently when we visit my Mom. The rental was spacious, and the neighborhood was nice.

Nice place

Property provided us with everything that we needed ( except sheets and towels) but we knew this before hand. Great quiet location with nice neighbors and that is all we were looking for. Had a good stay that was hassle free.

no internet as stated. no bedding, not stated, no towels also not stated.

no trash bags, not even one, to get started. should mention two flights of stairs to get to kitchen and dining. no remote for the master bedroom. AC went out but was fixed the next day. Manager did well, nice guy.

Large Home dish is very dirty

The house is large great for our group there are several issues 1 house was not clean we had to wash every kitchen item we used silverware, cups some had mold 2 we killed 6 Brown spiders and several roaches , with a cleaning fee this should not happen also at this price point the renter should not have to bring sheets and pillowcases for the Beds and towels and wash clothes manager was very nice when I spoke to him check in was easy he let us check in 2 hrs early and 2 hours late this is a nice location we would rent again if someone of these challenges are corrected

Lake House Stay

View was beautiful. House was not really clean, but we cleaned. Not a problem. No vacuum there to vacuum area rug. The pier was nice and long, but needs some attention to the wood. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Almost perfect

We enjoyed our stay, plenty of room and the view was beautiful. It would have been perfect however there is no walkway to the front door. Walking through grass carrying lots of stuff was not ideal. Although the elevator was a savior. As far as cleanliness: lots of bugs on the ceiling some stuck in webs, a mousetrap in kitchen which makes me worry there’s mice around and our bed in the primary king had stains. May want to put a mattress cover on it. It was very comfortable though. Otherwise we loved it and would most likely stay again.

CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!

If you're looking for a quiet place to vacation with a large family, this is it! The home is huge and perfect for entertaining with space for everyone. The lighting in the trees by the pier and wonderful sunset views over the water are perfect ways to end the day. Can't wait to go back!

This home has potential

My extended family rented this home to spend time together with my terminally ill father. He is on oxygen at all times and though he’s somewhat mobile, he’s not very strong nor does he have much stamina. The elevator in the description seemed like an answer to our prayers for his participation with us. Upon arriving, my parents noticed right away that bedding was not provided. It was not mentioned in the description of the home and we assumed it was provided, as it has been in all of our previous rentals. The elevator was locked and we carried my Dad’s oxygen generator upstairs and he was able to maneuver the low-step stairs. He did not go back downstairs until it was time for us to leave. The upstairs is spacious and the bedrooms available there are comfortable. The kitchen and dining area provide lots of room for the large gathering (13 adult-sized people and 2 small kids) that we had. The porch is also lovely with enough space for everyone to eat together and sit together and the ceiling fans provide the air movement that cools and keeps the bugs away. It was disappointing that the windows weren’t clean so our view was spotty. Those who slept downstairs mentioned how dirty the floor was (they had to brush their feet together before they went to bed to keep the sheets from getting gritty). My sister even felt the need to wash the comforter in her room - thank goodness for the availability of the washer and dryer. The air intake was grossly dusty (full) and it made me wonder the last time the air filter might have been changed. We contacted the realtor who was in charge of the rental on Wednesday (as we were driving down) about the bedding and though he was out of town we were able to talk with him. I expressed my displeasure about not being informed that bedding was not provided. I texted Wednesday night asking about a Wi-Fi password and never got a response. I texted on Thursday asking about the elevator and a Wi-Fi password. I mentioned about the downstairs not being swept, the lack of toilet paper downstairs, and the hand soap that was out in the upstairs guest bathroom. He responded that there is no wifi at this time and he said he “will check on the elevator…. There was a recent problem with it since there are several sensitive safety features.” I called on Monday requesting information on the elevator. I received a text back, “the battery pack for the system was not working properly and need

Perfect lake house

My family and I loved staying here! The house was very spacious, the “beach” area was perfect for our young kids, and we loved being able to dock our boat right at the house!
