Come enjoy a getaway at our recently renovated 3 bedroom/2 full bathroom home tucked away on five acres. We are just minutes away from grocery stores, wineries, river rafting, Coloma/gold country, Apple Hill, downtown Placerville and just 45 minutes from the nearest ski resort. Take a day trip to South Lake Tahoe just an hour away. There are also beautiful bike trails throughout the area to explore.

You will enjoy a recently renovated 3 bedroom (1 king 2 queens), 2 full bath home. All new paint, flooring, kitchen, bathrooms, appliances (including washer/dryer), game room and beautiful furnishings. Beautiful new hot tub to enjoy as well!

Hillside Gem

This is a lovely home with a beautiful view. You can tell (words of my 16 year old daughter), “who ever is running this place has it together!” There were many nice and thoughtful touches and things were clean and well organized. I would most certainly stay there again and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends or family!

Wedding Festivities

We booked this trip as our youngest daughter was getting married at a venue in town at the end of January. We stayed two nights. The house may have been a little tricky to find had the host not provided such clear instructions ahead of time, which we appreciated. The driveway was a little awkward if you have multiple cars but we made it work. The house was nicely updated and had all the amenities that our group needed. Having two full bathrooms was a lifesaver considering we were all trying to get ready at the same time on the day of the wedding, including the bride! The kitchen had all the basics and even though we didn’t end up needing any of it it was nice to know it was available. The binder with instructions and house rules was helpful and provided clear expectations. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place to our friends.

Unexpected Retreat

We are locals who picked this place based on the reasonable price, being pet friendly and enough beds for our family while our roof gets replaced. We got an unexpected family retreat. Even our dog took a break from being his usually overstrung self. He slept most of our stay! I loved feeling like I was having coffee in a treehouse or on the deck of a ship. My husband never ever wants to eat outside, but he actually suggested having dinner out on the deck because the view was so good and the chairs were so comfortable. Everything we needed was provided: plenty of towels, comfy beds, good wi-fi, a organized and well stocked kitchen, good coffee. What we didn't know we needed was the peace and quiet and time to truly relax in this special place. (It does have very steep stairs. There is a good safety gate on the deck and others available inside. I would not be able to have our in-laws stay here because of the stairs...but maybe they can sleep at my house and I will stay up here ;) )

Lovely vacation rental

We make an annual trip up to visit Apple Hill and had yet to find a place we love to stay at. This home is a good sized 3 bed/2 bath. Very clean and cozy, I could smell the cleanliness when we got there. Hot tub was a big plus for us! It has most of everything that you need. Close enough to most of everything you need in Placerville, but far enough into the country to be quiet and peaceful. We would definitely visit again!

We stayed here with a couple friends while we were in town for a wedding. The location was perfect and close. The house was perfect for what we needed.

Super comfortable, super clean

My company rented this property for a work weekend in Placerville. We got permission from the owner to bring a large dog with us. The house was secluded. We didn’t see if hear a neighbor. The house was super comfortable, very clean, well designed. It is obvious that the owners take pride in their guests comfort. The master bedroom had a single use toiletry basket with everything you could think of (in case you didn’t bring it). Including disposable raisers, make up remover towels, tooth brushes and tooth past. I would highly recommend staying in this home. It’s secluded but really close to town. Comfortable and Kelli was quick to respond for all inquiries while we were there. If I ever stay in placerville again, this will be my rental of choice!

Nicely upgraded place with a great view

This is near the golf course and has a beautiful view of the hills from the deck. The cottage is nicely upgraded and you can tell everything is new in there. There are some great hospitality details that you can tell the host is experienced. There's also accomodations for a dog on the deck you don't typically find.

If you are looking for a quiet spot to spend with friends or family this is it! Not too far from Railey's grocery or downtown Placerville. This is a place that is truly a peaceful getaway. We stayed upstairs and my friends (another couple) stayed downstairs. They said the bed was stiff but I didn't notice that at all on the king upstairs. Well stocked with dishes and what you might need. I would definitely come back! Kellie the contact host was very pleasant and helpful. She gave suggestions and was super amazing to work with.
