Welcome to Carolina Views! Sleeps 10 in 4bed, 3.5bath elevated beach house with inground pool (heat available). Unbelievable views of the ICW, marsh and ocean in all directions. Several outdoor spaces in front and back and under the house to relax, kick back and unwind.

Inverted floor plan (bedrooms on first floor, living space on second level), cathedral ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows in the living and dining spaces make it feel open and bright.

Recently updated … tasteful beachy decor with comfy furniture, beds …. designed with our guests' comfort and convenience in mind.

Several outdoor spaces and entertainment features …. inground POOL (heat available), three decks front and back, plentiful seating, picnic tables, ping-pong, yard jenga, cornhole/bag toss, tic tac toe, outdoor shower and a charcoal grill. Everything your family needs for a fun-filled special vacation.

Under the house entertainment and seating space … enjoy the breezes and GET OUTSIDE …even in not-so-ideal weather.

The kitchen is stocked with the basics and well-equipped with many small appliances and cooking tools such as microwave, waffle iron, slow cooker, toaster, blender, and a variety of cookware. There are also BOTH a Keurig and a drip coffee maker with a variety of coffees, teas, sweeteners and creamers.

Carolina Views is designed to cater to families and provides a variety of books and games (both indoors and out), sand toys, booster seat, high chair, pack n play, etc. Leave all these things at HOME!

Where you'll sleep …. Easily accommodating up to 10 guests ….. a KING room with a private bath and direct access to the back deck ….. a QUEEN room with a vaulted ceiling and a newly-renovated private bath ….. another QUEEN room that shares a Jack N Jill bath with the BUNK room, creating an ideal space for a family. There is also a separate sitting/entertainment space with a pullout couch, allowing plenty of room for your group.

Beach toys, chairs, umbrella are available for your convenience … and a buggy to help carry it all to the beach is included! It's just a quick three-minute walk to the sand, accessible by two different access points.

Carolina Views will be your new favorite vacation spot at Holden Beach.

**Outdoor security cameras directed toward the front and driveway areas are in place to provide added security and peace of mind.

The security deposit is a hold and fully refundable upon departure. The pool can be heated by the week - additional fee will be determined based on length of stay.

Great Family Vacay!

We had a lovely time enjoying the beach everyday & watching the sunsets. The house is fully equipped and really nice. Pictures don’t do it justice- very well maintained. We will definitely be back.

Grounds and over all house and furniture much older and worn then pics lead you to believe. Stains on chairs in liv rm, mix of very old /new chairs on back deck. Some outdoor pieces in the back were rusted like a table and swing and the grill was super dirty. Lots of stairs everywhere so avoid if you have a child under 7.No bathroom near pool/ outside which was a problem. Was told beach umbrella included then 24 hours before check out was told rental Co. was going to pick up. Too many other choices to stay here again. Price does not reflect what you get. House was just ok.

Perfect Vacation!

This was our first stay on Holden Beach, and we truly enjoyed every minute! Elizabeth shared information about the island, including beach access, restaurants, and family activities, all very helpful to us as first timers. The house is better than pictured, exceptionally clean and well stocked, and full of activities for the kids. Our vacation was simply wonderful! We will definitely return.

Wonderful Beach Home

Everything you could want for a Holden Beach vacation! This home is beautifully decorated and has absolutely stunning views of the marsh from the kitchen and living room. Relaxing Family Getaway

From the moment that we saw the house, we knew we were going to have a great week. The house was beautiful, spacious and comfortable and Elizabeth was a helpful and very responsive host. From the "Welcome Letter" to the letting us know the minute that the house was available for us to check in to having a coffee maker shipped right to our door first thing in the morning, she really cared about making sure that everything was perfect for us. Highlights for us included the pool, the easy proximity to the beach, the views of the marsh from the back deck, the large dining table for family games, the well stocked kitchen and the comfortable rooms. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed, from coffee to pots and pans to condiments and spices, and even containers to store leftovers. The pool was comfortable with nice floats to lay on and at least part of the pool area had sun all day long. We are so happy that we chose "Carolina Views" for our vacation.

Holden Beach

We enjoyed staying at the Carolina Views home in Holden Beach. The home had breathtaking views of the marsh and was extremely clean and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked yet a short distance to a coffee shop and grocery store if need be. We had a minor issue with a fan when I checked in and the homeowner was responsive immediately and resolved our issue. The amount of space for my family of 6 was perfect. The beach was a quick stroll across the street and the private pool was an added perk after staying at the beach all day. I would highly recommend staying at this home for a relaxing vacation with family. Thank you, Elizabeth!

Had a shell of a time!

Loved this property. Elizabeth made sure we had everything we needed for our 2 month old. A high chair and pack and play. The views were amazing. Pictures don’t do it justice. Location was perfect. Just far enough away from the causeway and so close to the beach. 2 beach access but we used the private one mostly. Spent the afternoons at the pool and grilling out back. The rooms were gorgeous and the over all lay out was so cozy. Again the communication with Elizabeth was top notch and I loved every minute of our week vacation!!

Amazing Views!

Amazing rental!!

We absolutely loved our stay here! We have stayed in a lot of rentals, but this one really checked every box. Loved the location that was a little farther down Holden Beach, just keep in mind that shops/restaurants will not be within walking distance. Being across the street from the beach and right in front of the marsh was exceptional. The home had lots of space but was cozy at the same time. The pool was great and so glad we paid extra to have it heated - well worth it! Lots of games for outside and inside too. We had absolutely no issues and love this home. We will definitely be back!!

Views for Days!

What can I say but WOW! What a gorgeous home with even more gorgeous views! I loved cooking dinner in the spacious (and exceptionally well equipped) kitchen while watching the sunset over the marsh. The beach itself is just a few steps away with private beach access and miles of expansive beach with fantastic shelling. While this home is a great jumping off point for day trips to neighboring islands, our favorite time was enjoying the ocean right there in Holden. I chose this home for a girls’ weekend and the layout was perfect, especially with each spacious bedroom having en suite bathrooms, making it perfect for friends, couples, or a large family. I’ve stayed in a lot of vacation rentals, and this one stands out for its cleanliness, space, amenities, gracious host, and amazing VIEWS! I don’t do many repeat trips, but I can say with certainty I will be back!

Amazing House on Holden Beach

We just returned from a New Year's stay at Carolina Views. The house was perfect! The house backs up to a tidal creek/marsh which provided extra privacy and amazing views. Every window/porch in the house has a view of the marsh or ocean. The house is located on one of the best stretches of beach on the East Coast to find shark teeth. It is also never crowded due to the minimal public parking and no high rise hotels. We had so much fun hunting shark teeth and hanging out on the beach. The beach access is a very short walk from the house. We stay at rental homes for vacations 3-4 times per year, and this is the best stocked house we have ever stayed in. The owner's have thought of EVERYTHING, and even stocked extras that most homes do not include (coffee pods, plenty of trash bags, paper goods, flour, oil, seasonings - even microwave popcorn)! The house is also well stocked with activities, like beach gear (chairs, toys, etc.), board games, puzzles, outdoor jenga, and a ping pong table! We really didn't need to pack much except for clothes! One of the best parts of the house is the pool, which can be heated. It was perfect for a winter weekend when it was too cold to swim at the beach. The house is newly renovated and beautifully furnished/decorated. The layout takes advantage of the beautiful views. This house is perfect for families or several couples to stay - highly recommend!

Beautiful home

My book club enjoyed a wonderful fall weekend in your beautifully decorated home. We are all women of a certain age (70+) and appreciated the calming tasteful beach decor and the availability of every convenience in the kitchen. You are a wonderful host and have anticipated every need that your guests might have, from games, puzzles, toiletries, paper products, and hair dryers to outdoor games and comfortable seating in the breezy area under the house. We were able to use the heated pool, even in October, and the beach is just short walk across the street. The marsh views along the back of the house are incredible. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us...when I woke up at home this morning, I wished I were still there!

Beautiful Home!

We had a wonderful stay at Carolina Views! We have stayed at several rental properties on Holden Beach and this was one of the best! The house was beautiful. The outside seating area was very comfortable and well done. We had the pool heated and it was lovely. The attention to detail and the extra amenities that were provided was very much appreciated. Perfect getaway to close out Summer

Our families had a wonderful stay at Carolina Views over Labor Day weekend. The house was beautiful, updated, very clean and provided all the extra comforts and touches making our stay the perfect getaway. The house gets its name honestly because the views are amazing! Some of our favorite moments started and ended with those incredible views. The back opens up to sunsets and marsh views, while the front glistens ocean views and sunrises. Our host Elizabeth was attentive and helpful from the start providing recommendations and suggestions along with checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Amazing Marsh Views!!!

The house was clean and well stocked. We appreciated not having to bring our beach set-ups as chairs, a cart, and toys are provided. The outside areas and pool are great for hanging out. Also, plenty of seating everywhere inside and out! The layout is great for friends or a family with kids. The best part are the most amazing views from the 3rd floor! We enjoyed our stay, thanks for having us.

Fantastic family vacation

We stayed for a "long weekend" with 3 couples with 3 children under the age of 15 months. The house was laid out perfectly for our group. We had 3 days of rain due to a storm, however there was plenty of living space for our children to play without feeling cramped. The outside area was fantastic at night for the adults. Realistically there are 3 full living areas if you include the outside sitting area on the ground level. The house is VERY well stocked from kids toys to a fully stocked kitchen with about any gadget that you could think of. The walk to the beach was also very easy. We utilized the public access as the private was narrow and had quiet a few stairs. With children and carts this made it much more difficult. The walk to the public access is roughly 100 yards but much easier access if you have quiet a bit of beach equipment/toys. Elizabeth sent us an email on our first morning suggesting quiet a few local restaurants and they were spot on. Our group loved the cinnamon rolls from Aunt Irene's, the breakfast sandwiches/burritos from Scoops, and we had a great large group dinner at Provision Co. Our group is already looking forward to returning next year and hopefully for many additional years in the future. The house is perfect for our group to "grow into" as the children get older.

Best week ever

Our first family vacation since the kids have grown up and now have kids of their own! The house was very spacious so everyone could spread out. The grandkids loved the bunk room with a tv to play their Switch on. Private beach access was really close to walk to so we went to the beach every day and then topped the afternoon off at the pool. We cooked a few meals in and the kitchen was large enough that everyone could help prepare. Loved the views from the decks. Watched a storm come in over the marsh while sitting on the back deck. Herons by the dozens and even deer in the marsh. We didn’t want to leave!

Best trip ever

This was a last minute getaway and from the beginning to end it was highly enjoyable! Elizabeth was a wonderful host in all the ways! The home is exactly like the photos and the views was superior to any view I have seen before. We can not wait to stay there again!

April Beach Trip

Hi! We're Rob and Elizabeth Gerlach, new owners of Carolina Views. This is our first vacation rental and we are super excited to host you and your family. I (Elizabeth) grew up in the south and spent every summer vacation at a North Carolina beach with my family. We chose Holden Beach because of its low-key, laid-back, not overly-commercialized community. Everything you need is right on or near the island. The beaches are beautiful and the water is nice! Also, we love all of the views at Holden.

Carolina Views is one of the more unique properties … simply because of its lot size and privacy since its surrounded by marshland.
