Awesome suite, 100 steps to the ocean!

100% of guests gave this a 5-star rating! OBX quick getaway - Heathsville OBX is a private suite 100 feet to the beach. Accommodates up to two. Clean and cozy space, all you need to do is bring your bathing suit and change of clothes, everything else for the beach is furnished. Not only enjoy the beach, but enjoy the clubhouse with pool, hot tub, ping pong, pool table, weight room, video games, tennis, pickle ball, racketball courts (hosts have rackets, tennis balls/racketballs).
The space
This space is a separate guest suite on the ground floor of our townhome in Sea Dunes, a wonderful complex. Sea Dunes is known for its great amenities. It is like being at a resort. Clean, quiet, newly painted and decorated and the best part, about a 30-45 seconds walk to the beach! The suite does not have an oven or stove, but a well equipped kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, toaster oven, keurig, sandwich maker, crock pot, blender, Instapot, hot air popper, dishes, utensils, everything you will need for food preparation. Also available for your use in the suite is a washer and dryer. Netflix, cable and wifi. Feel free to grill some local seafood on the gas grill.

Although the listing says two beds (which has been impossible to change!!!) there is ONE very comfortable queen bed!!!!

Great stay!

Perfect for my husband and I to stay while enjoying the Outer Banks! It is just as described and pictured-clean, cute and cozy! The location is great-just steps away from the beach and several restaurants are within walking distance. Pat and Chuck are amazing hosts, so thoughtful and accommodating! We definitely recommend staying here.

Couple's retreat

Pat was the consummate hostess. She thought of everything. The bed was super comfy and the towels were luxurious. Pat even had snacks out for us!

Absolutely amazing

Beautiful place to stay just steps to the ocean. Hosts were amazing. Had all the comforts of home. From the orange juice in the mini fridge to the fresh muffins waiting on the tray. Would definitely recommend staying here.

A delightful place to stay!

This was the perfect place to spend what turned out to be our honeymoon! We spent a week here and I have NEVER stayed in a more well-appointed place, with everything you need for the beach, cooking etc and more - and full of little surprises provided by the delightful hosts. I will say - the bathroom situation is a bit of an intimacy test - but other than that - five stars all the way!!!! It's the perfect size for a couple and as advertised, it is right across the beach road with it's own access path.

Fantastic stay

Chris and I loved our stay here. It is exactly as described. So conveniently located to the beach, restaurants etc. We took advantage of the nice amenities at the property. Best part . . . Chuck and Pat. They are lovely!! We can't wait to come again!!

Quiet Getaway

My husband and I truly enjoyed this location and the luxuries provided. Pat had everything covered. If you think you forgot something, I assure you it's there. So many welcoming touches! The bed was dreamy! The short walk to the beach was great! Perfect for a couples retreat or time alone!

Birthday/Fathers Day get away

This was our first time to the Outer Banks. Pat and her husband weredefiantly a “super host!” They provided me and my husband with everything we needed for a beach stay PLUS, more!! The condo is literally 100 steps to the beach, it was immaculately clean, smelled so good! The pool is nice the hot tub was wonderful! I give it two thumbs up!!

Awesome Stay!

My husband and I had a wonderful time just checking out what the OBX had to offer. The host were spectacular, they really made you feel like you were at home. A lovely couple with a warm and inviting presence. The suite was cute cozy and comfy , just right for some alone time to spend with your partner! We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back! Would recommend this stay to any couple that wants to just relax and enjoy time together.. The beach is so close and the sunrises and sunsets from the beach are beautiful! The host really makes this stay extra inviting. Loved chatting with them and getting to know a little about each other. Great experience for my husband and I.

Beach Get-a-way

I was looking for a place close to the beach. This one DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Just 100 steps to the beach!! Awesome!! And even though Hurricane Ian came storming through, it missed most of Kitty Hawk and I enjoyed a beautiful Saturday and Sunday! Hosts were wobderful! Apartment was cozy and the hosts did a wonderful job decorating it and making the most of the space! I do look forward to returning to Heathsville OBX. A GEM!
