Magnificent sunsets over the Gulf are yours to enjoy from the private balcony at this 8th-floor condo at the beachfront, Calypso complex. Boasting direct access to the sand and surf, this condo is also conveniently situated across from Pier Park, offering tons of local shopping, dining, and entertainment. Guests will also enjoy a bevy of on-site features and amenities at Calypso during their stay such as an outdoor pool, poolside palapa hut bar, and fitness center.

The home comes fully furnished for modern living and comfort. All major, stainless steel appliances - including a dishwasher - are present in the kitchen, making at-home meal planning a breeze. After days of sun and fun, relax in the living room while streaming shows and movies on the smart TV.

Guests may only use Tower 1 and Tower 2 amenities. There is a $60 parking/amenity fee that is charged for each vehicle up to 2 vehicle limit.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. DISSAPOINTING

Furniture looked dirty. Took ice machine 2 days before working. Coffee machine still had used pod and water in it. Return vent had dust all in it.Master bath shower doors were stuck and would not open or close properly. The tub in the master bath drained so slow that water would build up quickly. The entrance door was very tight and hard to push open. The hair dryer in the small bath had a broken on/off switch and would not operate. The condo needs updating. For the price paid we expected better. Previous stays at the Calypso were great. We still enjoyed our stay at Calypso 807E despite the problems.

Great condo, bad property management

The building, the unit were great. But Vacasa really just missed the mark. A/C wasn't cooling, listing said there were hot tubs on site (there aren't), and we had a really large safety concern that they completely ignored. Check out was at 10am, someone came at 9am and THREW open the door hard enough to break the frame completely off the inside of the door. They didn't knock, announce themselves or anything. When I communicated both the damage to the manager (with photos) and that I couldn't believe their cleaner came AN HOUR EARLY without any notice - they basically said "oh no! hope you enjoyed your stay!" I'm a host in the building, and honestly shocked someone handles an issue like this in this manner.

Clean and convenient

Had a great time at calypso . Tiki bar by the pool took the edge off the day. Within walking distance of shopping and restaurants.

Pros: location easy to walk to many places for food and the cafe on property is pretty good as well. View was very pretty on the 8th floor Access to everything was a good plus Cons: Room needs some TLC, couches were stained and the sheets while clean could tell they were really old. Floors needed a good mopping. Overall it was an enjoyable stay, I didn't use the kitchen at all but it was well stocked with equipment if you wanted to use it.

The condo was nice but needed cleaning . The bed sheets were not clean , pillows had makeup on them. Dishes in dishwasher were dirty. The he molding on front door came off as soon as we entered the condo. Vacasa fixed the molding the same day ! We never got a broom or vacuum to clean the floors

East Tower

Upon arrival, we discovered there were only hand towels and towels for use, no washcloths. Both showers were not cleaned well with hair all in the shower floor. Also, one of the shower drains was extremely stopped up. The last thing was there were long hairs all over the bunk sheets and master sheets, which we lint rolled. Besides those things, this is a very convenient location to Pier Park (walking distance) and other food locations and shops. The facility’s grounds were clean and very satisfactory. Overall, we would stay again minus those small, lacking cleanliness details.

Location - excellent, Quality - not so much

Location of Calypso is amazing for easy access to shopping, beach and entertainment. However this particular condo was in need of much repairs, doors were covered in dirts where door handles are, the laminate on the cabinets in all areas were peeling, the dishwasher was not attached so it would rock forward when pulling the racks out, the shower doors were not very steady. Some of the electrical plugs did not work either. There was also a weird smell almost like something burning every time we would enter the condo. Also there is no storage for the bunk bed users so their luggage had to just be laid out in the walkway. This condo would be great if proper upkeep was maintained on it, but seems it has not been maintained since being built.

Awesome place

There where a few little things wrong but it didn’t interfere with my vacation! Needs Lille more cooking utensils a sharp knife be great cause we cooked every evening more pans sheet. The frame was off the door but they was trying to fix it, very professional they called and asked if they could come in to get measurements! Like I said it didn’t interfere with us! Some people just Nick pick! It was a wonderful stay. Thank you

Beautiful view of the Beach and Pier

This property has a beautiful view of the gulf and is a short walk to Pier Park. It is has nice furniture , comfortable bed and kitchen stocked with all kitchen necessities to cook with. Several nice restaurants are close as well as Walmart , Target and multiple other stores to get supplies or shop. We would definitely stay at this property again!

I would reconsider

We had an ok stay. The shower doors were not working properly, hallway light was flickering, bedroom remote control was duct tapped together and still didn’t work, water was in the floor in front of the dishwasher, bedroom door wasn’t working properly (broke), drip in the faucet and pieces missing. We called and reported everything twice and finally got a call back as we’re heading home on our last day.

We loved the view!! The sunsets we witnessed were amazing! The condo was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed when we decided to cook a meal. Bathrooms were good size and there was plenty of hot water for showers. It's within walking distance to the pier and pier park. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.
