Bayfront, kayaks, private dock, 5 minute walk to the Gulf

This 3BR/2BA water front home with private dock and small private beach will be your new Fort Morgan go-to for rest and relaxation. Just 1/2 mile from the Fort Morgan Marina and with plenty of parking space, you can bring your own boat or charter the fishing trip of a lifetime! “Off The Hook” , is a great choice. The Fort Morgan Historic Site and Mobile Bay Ferry Landing is less than 2 miles down the road. The ferry departs and returns from Dauphin Island up to 15 times a day. You can enjoy the water and sand on the Mobile Bay side of the peninsula from the back yard, or you can take a short quarter of a mile walk down Buchanan Ct to the big sandy Fort Morgan Gulf of Mexico beaches. You will want to do both!

This home comfortably sleeps 8-10 guests with a king bed in the master with private bath, a queen bed in one upstairs bedroom, and a second upstairs bunk room with a twin size daybed and full over full bunk bed. The daybed and bunk bed also have additional trundle beds that are great for kids. A queen sleeper sofa is located in the spacious living room. We provide a fully stocked kitchen with full size appliances. Drip and Keurig coffee makers available.

Linens provided, but please bring your beach towels.

Starter pack provided of laundry detergent, dish soap, and a trash bag. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap in each bathroom.

This was a great house and we enjoyed all the time spent here. We will definitely be back as we take a family vacation to Fort Morgan every year. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach, and sitting on the porch and dock and just enjoying the scenery...what a awesome home and thank you for sharing it with us!!!!

We enjoyed staying in Bay View! It was our first time staying on the bay side and we liked it. We saw lots of wildlife, fished off the dock, ate good food, and had fun at the beach! The house had everything we needed and was clean.

We loved our stay at Bayview! Our little TRT Odie enjoyed the bay, the ocean, not too much! The boys loved the dock and also chartered a fishing trip, just up the road at the marina. They loved the location and wants to book it again! Thank you for sharing your home!

Great location with water access I wouldn't say beach more like a pier with some sand. House ok but could use some modernization. .The views are breathtaking.I would recommend this property.

Bayview Bliss

Just a totally charming beach cottage setting! The view from the deck was great with sunsets just a beautiful splash of rosy color across the sky and water. Private dock was just wonderful for fishing and lounging. The cottage decor was contemporary, beachy and inviting. The amenities were above expectation and made our stay comfortable and worry free. In this location the bay side can be enjoyed and you can walk across the street and enjoy the ocean side as well. Just a wonderful, quiet and relaxing experience where you can kick back with a cold drink, read a book and enjoy the view!

Enjoyed it!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Love that it’s away from the hustle and bustle. There is a small grocery store and restaurants nearby if needed. Still convenient to Gulf Shores and everything else that you need. Loved waking up to the beautiful Bay view, and the pier for fishing.

This was a wonderful place and the perfect location for our family who loves to fish and wanted to have a peaceful location away from crowds. We went to Fort Morgan and spent time at the local marina watching charters come in which was literally walking distance. The home was cute, clean and well stocked. We highly recommend!

Was a wonderful place to stay, a fine view of the bay. Not too far to stray, is the beach across the way. Sun and sand is a beautiful to spend the day.

Enjoyed the peacefulness and location. Great access to beach. Only negative was it got hotter in afternoons and ac couldn’t stay 72 in afternoons and would get to 74 or 75. But owner very responsive. Very comfy beds!

Informative review

Our stay was good! The host was responsive and helpful. The check in was smooth and simple. The house had plenty of space for the 6 of us. The living space had plenty of seating, and the dining table sat 6 people. The AC worked great! The space was very comfortable! The exterior had a great view of the bay! The water at the dock is shut off, so you need to pull a hose out from the house. Not impossible, just not super convient. The water is also pretty shallow at the dock. You would need a very shallow drafting boat. And there were lots of rocks and debris near the dock that could be an issue for a boat. The porch had enough chairs for us, but a smaller table. Still a nice area to enjoy the view. Things to bring... These are things i normally bring, and I'm glad i did. The home comes with a few of these items, but not enough for us.. -dishwashing tabs - laundry detergent -paper towels - charcoil -toilet paper -salt and pepper -sandwhich/storage bags -dish soap -dish sponge The towels were also not super big, so if you like bigger towels you may want to bring your own. (We actually only had 5 towels for 6 people...im sure i could have asked the host for more, but we just made it work) They provide no beach towels, but i dont normally expect that. The walk to the beach is easy! Flat. We could easy pack everything up in a wagon and walk there a few times a day! The outdoor shower was very nice and made cleaning up from the Beach easy!

A beautiful getaway!!

An organization I am in had our retreat here, and we loved the property and the manager!! It was clean and beautiful! The manager was quick to answer any questions I had, and there were no problems throughout the trip! I would definitely book this house, and personally, I might book it again!

All good

The property was great- just right for our needs. The rocks on the beach prevented beaching our small boats but the tide was very low. I recommend a collapsible hose to pull to the dock. Overall very good. One last thing. All of us were well over 70 years old. Even though our group were all educated and included a medical doctor, lawyer, executives we had a hard time operating the tv. We are just old and in the way I guess😂. Thanks for making your home available to us.

Perfect home on the Bay

This house was wonderful. Just as pictured! Loved having our own little dock for fishing and crab watching. The home was clean and provided most items as listed. I would definitely recommend this home!

Fort Morgan Fishing

Quiet area with private dock on the bay with five kiddos and a dog. Simple and clean set up met our needs. Our trip was a quiet and relaxing fishing oriented stay. We ate at Tacky Jacks 2 twice and loved everything. We also took the ferry to DI and played in the beach over there as well as eating at Pirates. Fort Morgan was also a nice couple hours of exploring. Only thing that could have made it better was an outdoor table and chairs for the whole family to eat outside, but our stay was perfect.

Time with our Marine!

We loved the house, and we always stay in the Ft Morgan area, so this was perfect for us. It's a great location to have our kids join us for a few days! House has been remodeled very nice! I loved the colors! The private pier and open deck are very nice!

Relaxing, Great time!

Our trip checked all the boxes! Relaxation, view, fishing, privacy, comfortable bedding and furniture, clean, and all the kitchen supplies we needed! We went out a couple times to eat, and utilized the Sassy’s Pizza a couple times. The rest we chose to stay in, sit on the deck and enjoy the view! Hopefully we will be able to go again next year! Thank you for a great week!
