ABOUT SPLASH BEACH RESORT
Splash Resort's amenities are quite unique among Gulf Coast resorts and there is something here for everyone. There is a heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi located right next to the main kids play area where the water slides and enormous bucket that dumps hundreds of gallons of water every 45 seconds are located. There is also a state of the art fitness facility overlooking the pool and lazy river. There is a poolside Bar & Grill with tables by the pool and a reasonably priced menu.

Making memories

We love splash resort and Panama City beach. It was my grandson and daughter in law’s first time to visits PCB and they love it. We will definitely be back to splash resort soon.

Elevator

The only hold back when considering staying there again is the elevator situation. Long wait time and also was out of order several times during the week.

Overall it was good, but condo needs some attention

The resort is excellent. We stayed during a busy holiday weekend and had no issues with the elevators. Our family of 4 stayed with 2 small children and the amenities were wonderful. The condo was definitely spacious and we loved the bunk bed in the guest room and large tubs. Overall the condo was good, however, it could use attention to cleaning and details. The shower curtain liner in the master bathroom has mold on it. We pulled out some dishes that were not clean. There was a lot of dust in places and when you wipe the floor with a towel it came back black. In addition the sheets had some small stains. The condo really could also use a broom as well. The condo is maintained by a separate cleaning service so I would recommend getting a new one if possible. Also, it could use some touch up paint on the walls.

Spacious condo, great resort

Positives: The condo was spacious for our family of 5 and the view was fantastic! Being far west of PCB chaos was nice. Loved having some family games provided. Having a full kitchen was super convenient, appliances were great! The beach was clean and beautiful and provided hours of family enjoyment. There were plenty of pool areas to choose from. Having an on-site bar with food and drinks was appreciated. Negatives: Condo curtains need some oil, the screech when opening/closing was ear piercing. Tons of dust on curtain rails. The washer smells like mold and we found a damp article of clothing in it from previous occupants. I ran the self-clean cycle and it didn't help. The frying pans are awful/cheap and had eggs crusted on the edges when we arrived. We had to purchase a spatula for the unit. Splash pad water was freezing. Pool area bathrooms were disgusting. Elevator wait time could be more than 10 minutes at times. Beach chair rental is criminally expensive. Overall our vacation was fantastic and this condo was great - could be excellent with more attention to cleaning. The resort itself has some issues the condo owners can't solve (like not enough elevators and disgusting beach bathrooms).
