Here is exactly what's happening, when it's happening and how it affects your stay at Fin's Up, which is located in the West Building.

September 14 - October 15:

Contractor mobilization and initial work begins on the east face of the East Building only
Your balcony is completely unaffected because our condo is in the West Building
The East Pool, Lazy River, and Kiddie Pad will be temporarily closed during this period
The West Pool, Hot Tub, and Splash Pad remain fully open
Some construction noise should be expected Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

October 19 - November 27:

Work progresses to the south face of the East Building
Your balcony remains completely unaffected — West Building balconies are not touched during this phase
The East Pool, Lazy River, and Kiddie Pad remain temporarily closed
The West Pool, Hot Tub, and Splash Pad remain fully open
Construction noise continues Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

November 30 - January 17, 2027:

Work begins on the side elevations of the West Building
Balconies in the West Building are not affected during this phase — your Gulf-front balcony remains fully open and accessible
West Pool and amenity status during this phase will be updated as information becomes available, and the East pool and amenities will be reopened
Construction noise continues Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

January 18, 2027 - February 19, 2027:

West Building balcony closures are scheduled to begin, including our stack
We have blocked our calendar from January 17, 2027 - February 19, 2027
Every stay currently available on our calendar includes full, unrestricted balcony access

The bottom line: your Gulf-front balcony is completely open and accessible for every date currently available on our calendar. The primary near-term impact to the resort experience is the temporary closure of the East Pool, Lazy River, and Kiddie Pad beginning in mid-September through November — with the West Pool, Hot Tub, and Splash Pad remaining open until West construction begins in late November and potentially periodically even beyond that. We believe you deserve to know exactly what to expect, and we are confident that once you are standing on that balcony watching the Gulf, the rest fades into the background.
