Palms at Wailea 601 offers the perfect location in Wailea. This 2-bedroom/2-bath ground level unit surrounded by the lush landscaping makes this a great Hawaiian getaway!

Maui's most exclusive location with the best weather is the award-winning Wailea Resort. Ideally situated just uphill from gorgeous Keawekapu Beach, The Palms at Wailea is an architect-designed two-story only complex with charming Mediterranean accents, and beautifully-manicured grounds, including two lily ponds joined by a charming stream.

You will be welcomed by the open and inviting living space. Kick up your feet and relax after a fun-filled day on Maui. Complete with a large sectional, flat-screen TV, ceiling fan, and AC in the living room and both bedrooms. The spacious covered lanai with a dining table allow for relaxing evenings while you kick back and enjoy the views. Relax poolside or enjoy the Jacuzzi after the sun sets and take in the beauty of the brilliant Maui skies.

The kitchen is well equipped with everything the inspired home chef would need. The dining table allows seating for six. There is also an eat-up bar for additional dining. The guest bedroom is a great setup with two twin beds that can be converted to a king upon request. The guest bath is located conveniently adjacent with a shower. Drift off for the perfect night's rest in the primary bedroom. With a king-size bed, ceiling fan, and split AC to keep cool in both bedrooms.

This luxury Palms at Wailea unit is located near the spectacular pool and Jacuzzi and all the amenities this popular complex affords. The Wailea Golf Course and Tennis Clubs are just a minute away. Within walking distance are some of the World's Top Beaches as rated by Conde Nast International. If shopping is your pleasure, the elegant Shops of Wailea are situated a stone's throw away. For the adventurous type, you will find amazing snorkeling spots within a very short drive.

Please note that Palms at Wailea no longer allows private grills. There will not be a grill for you to use on the lanai of this condo.

While we strive to keep all photos up to date, there may be new and updated pieces of furniture or decor that are different than in the original pictures. The functionality, available seating, and sleeping space will remain the same or may improve.

We would like to inform you that the pool at the Palms of Wailea will be temporarily closed from September 16th to 19th for cleaning and resealing of the pool surface to ensure a safe environment for everyone. To further prevent future closures, we have also scheduled a drainage of the pool during this time to repair pool equipment

Beautiful location, but needs some updating

Love the location of this property, the grounds are pristine, atmosphere is quiet and very relaxing. The condo was very inviting when we arrived. The condo itself could use some updates. Mattresses are very uncomfortable, the master bed has a foam topper on it but the mattress itself needs to be replaced. Some new frying pans are needed as well. Overall the property is Good, would stay again.

Beautiful unit but needs lots of little maintenance.

Very large beautiful condo. Enjoyed our stay. Lots of daddy long legs big and small. Master bathroom vessel sinks are leaking. Big wad of hair in MB shower and very very dirty. Washer Likes to walk away from wall. No blender or coffee grinder had them deliver one of each. Very cheap blender and was a one piece blender. Had to take many breaks or would be almost smoking. Spare bedroom bed was very uncomfortable. Springs poking in your body. The white dishes are a no brand and questionable for use in microwave or dishwasher. Silverware also very bottom of the barrel. Master bath tissue holder was almost hanging by a thread. 1.6 million. Dollar unit needs some little things but over $400 a night it should be better than this. Pans and dishes and utensils all need to go to good will. Please use non scented laundry soap in a rental. We all were very irritated with laundry scent and gave us a headache as Soon as we laid down. Had to rewash all laundry with non scented laundry soap. All floors need a steamer cleaner. Full of dirt in grout not been cleaned in years. Full of dirt in every corner. Safety issue with sliding door it isn’t secure anyone could open the door. Needs to be fixed. Only 15 hangers for each rooms combined. We could not hang most of our clothing in closet. Palms of Wailea please do better…..

Quiet and relaxing stay

Property was very clean and quiet. Very short car ride to get to ocean, beach, shopping, and dining. Pool area had plenty of lounge chairs and additional seating at tables in the shade. We would definitely stay here again!

Needs a bit of a refresh

The property itself is nice and has lovely grounds. There's a nice pool area which is fairly quiet at different times throughout the day. The surrounding roads are heavily traveled and can get quite noisy. The unit itself needs a bit of a refresh. There were a lot of deferred maintenance issues that have been communicated. And while it's comfortable, it doesn't feel worth the handsome price we paid. Historically, Wailea, has been an upper class area and this unit falls short of that feeling. Things like loose towel bars, wobbly lamps and dingy paint are easily touched up. Leaking AC units, and hard-as-rock beds are avoidable with good planning and maintenance. We had a list of things that added up throughout our extended stay. Overall, I don't think we'd stay in this exact unit again unless it was refreshed.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place has a good location, 20 minutes walk from a little shopping center, 10 minutes walk from a beach. I like that it has a lot of space for whole family and has two bathrooms. It's nice and clean, but we still found couple cockroaches. There are beach towels, beach chairs and some toys. Don't expect to find stuffed kitchen (there are NO containers, plactic food wrap, foil or any food like oil, tea, coffee) but basic pans and utensils will be there. The main complain is their king bed. It's super unbelievable uncomfortable! It's creaks and crazy wobbles with each sigh. Just trust me! Have never seen such unstable and terrible bed. Oh, and the stuff responded to my email after three days. A little bit ridiculous if you think that we had only 7 days there )Overall it's ok, but I wouldn't suggest it to my friends (specifically because of the bed).

Very Okay

Our family has been lucky enough to spend many vacations on the islands, so we come with a lot of knowledge about the neighborhoods and vacation rentals in multiple areas. This particular complex was one we hadn't stayed at before. I'll start with the positives: 1. This area is quiet and very relaxing, yet close to everything you may want in a Maui vacation. 2. The unit is more spacious than other condos you would typically rent in the area. The big sofa is great! 3. The unit has multiple beds in the additional bedroom, which is a huge benefit for us. 5. The kitchen was reasonably equipped with all you would expect. Storage containers/serving size bowels would have been amazing! If you cook on vacay, consider purchasing some food storage items (wrap/foil as well) when you hit the store. Things I feel the property manager/owner could do to make the experience exceptional: 1. Spiders are abundant in and around the unit. We may have hit the time just before a regular pest control maintenance? But it was bad. Knocking down webs with housekeeping could probably curb this issue a bit. 2. I'm sure it's a busy time of year and not a lot of time between renters for housekeeping, but it really could use a deeper clean. Bathrooms/light switch areas/floors/walls have been a bit neglected. 3. The AC leaks like crazy. I read previous reviews stating the same, so I didn't bother to call it in. We just tried to give it some time off when we didn't need it. Mahalo for sharing the Aloha!

Great stay with a few quirks

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at the Palms Wailea quite a few times. Second time with a CBIV location. This time we had a ground floor unit which worked out, while you give up some view, the trade off was that our kids could run around on the grass outside while we sat outside, it also made it easier to clean them off after a beach visit. The amenities were good, some beach toys, beach chairs, life vests were handy. Would have liked to have an umbrella included, we had to rent that from a 3rd party. The property was generally clean on the floor and surfaces, but there were a lot of daddy long legs spiders on the ceilings and in different locations, it is something that needs attention. They are harmless but it was annoying at times. My only other gripe was the color/temperature for many of the light bulbs throughout are a super white like daylight white. It was like being in an office or the doctors. The bulbs in the bedrooms and living room should be a warm relaxing light. It made it harder to relax and enjoy in the evenings. Also no coffee grinder, Hawaii coffee beans are great, but hard to enjoy without a grinder. The furniture and appliances all were great, AC worked. I would stay at this location again but hopefully they resolve some of the spider and lighting issues.

Condo needs some TLC and touch ups

A little touch up paint and caulking would make such a difference. Little things really do mean a lot. Cleaning could have been better especially in the kitchen. The a/c in the living room leaks. The patio chairs are very uncomfortable and dirty. It’s a very nice condo and some little improvements would earn it five stars.

Good Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Palms is located within close distance to most places you'd want to visit. The pool at the facility is nice and the beach is just a short drive away. Many ocal restaurants are within 15 minute drive. The 601 unit was clean and has numerous amenities to make the stay enjoyable. All the electronics worked and their customer support number was readily available is there was something I couldn't figure out. The two bedrooms are roomy and my two grandkids enjoyed the sleep over in the room with the two twin beds. My only criticism is the master bedroom bed was a bit uncomfortable. It is always a struggle between a soft vs hard bed. This bed had a couple of low spots that were annoying. I got used to it though. The room has good hand supports in all showers and the flooring in the showers were not slippery when wet. great supply of towels and the kitchen is fully equipped. The BBQ worked great and was easy to start. I would stay again.

Excellent! Very happy. Quick notes: patio furniture was ok but could use upgrade, need a lemon juicer, knives for cooking were very dull, ants in kitchen under small window. Overall we loved it and would certainly stay again. Thank you for the experience!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at this resort several times and always happy to be back! This unit has been slightly updated but lacked the quality we are used to seeing at The Palms. The laundry wasn't working, the bbq was dirty, the sun shade on the patio didn't work, no welcome book was provided with details about the suite and the kitchen wasn't very well stocked, i.e. no spices but S&P. The property management company was very responsive with our requests and even did laundry pick up for us because the W&D were broken. The street noise that others mention was noticeable but generally was not a big issue for us. The location is great for the beach, shopping and restaurants. The pool are is very nice and the property is well maintained. We would definitely go back to the The Palms, but not this unit.

Needs a facelift, poorly equipped kitchen.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had many issues with overall condition and maintenance of the unit, including the master bed which needed to be replaced (broken frame) and many missing utensils and cooking items in the kitchen, which was poorly equipped for a unit of this type. Response from management on site was friendly and reasonable but we got tired of having to ask for common kitchen items. Despite repeated attempts (via text and email) to resolve our dissatisfaction with the unit and request for a discussion with them when we got home, we have never received a response or offer for any compensation. We spent two sleepless nights on a couch that was not a hide a bed. For the nightly rate this was not acceptable. There are better options for your money in the same complex.

Good value for money, spacious, clean and well equipped

We very much enjoyed our stay. Check in was effortless and properly is as shown in pictures. A little dated, doors that don’t close smoothly and washing machine extremely noisy, but overall well equipped. Manager was responsive during business hours. We had 2 issues (patio door not closing and missing pots in the kitchen) and they were handled quickly. We were less impressed when wifi went down in late afternoon and no one called back until a text the next morning. Problem was not resolved, but we were checking out so did not insist. To know: check out is very early at 10am and they offer no luggage storage. You would need to store at a location close to the airport, which isn’t practical if you are not leaving the island immediately. The unit is well isolated for sound. Upstairs was occupied and we never heard noise or people walking. Plenty of storage space. Having a BBQ on the Lanai was fantastic, no need to go to a common area. No umbrellas at the pool, but clean and peaceful space. No beach umbrellas in the unit either, but we were able to get some from property management promptly. Parking close to the door is useful and there are no stairs to access the unit as it is ground floor. Plenty of pillows provided and good variety (from soft to harder). However we did not find the mattresses very comfortable. Too hard for our liking. This was a last minute booking for us. Overall we were very satisfied. It wasn’t perfect, but close enough.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It’s a good condo but suffers due to the location. Anyone staying here has to be willing to live with the road noise when outside - we couldn’t hear each other. The Palms location is within easy drive of everywhere you’d want to go. The furniture was organized well with lots of space in all rooms. In the kitchen, there was a well-equipped utensil holder, but other than four or five utensils in a drawer, that was it. It would also have been helpful to have at least salt and pepper available.

Stay at Palms Wailea unit 601

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were a family of 4 staying at the palms Wailea for 4 days. We liked the location overall. The garden and overall area along with pool are very nice and convenient (5 min walking distance).The unit 601 was very spacious and well furnished. There was a washer in the house that was very useful for us.Our only disappointment was that the unit is located relatively close to the road and we did not know about this. It was not mentioned and we did not see a map of the whole Palms area so it was not possible for us to know. We could hear the car when we were on the terrace however we could not hear anything when we were in the house.

We enjoyed our visit and would rent here again. The upstairs neighbors are owners and they were very pleasant.

We like this appartement. It is very spacious and perfect for our family if 4. It can accommodate 2 other persons. It is modern and convenient. We did not know the unit was nearby the road and that was the downside for us as we could hear the car. We spent most our time outside exploring the island so it was it a big issue but I wish this was clearly advertise in the description of the unit.
