We stayed for a week in this two bedroom apt. over the barn at a horse ranch in the Santa Ynez Valley. It is an older property, with wood floors and was very clean, the beds were super comfortable and it was very quiet. We loved seeing the horses, chickens, ducks and other animals. The cute little Los Olivos market/restaurant is a five minute walk away.

The property is so charming. Owners are the nicest people and love to tell you about all their great animals. The ducks are entertaining and the horses are gorgeous. They have fresh eggs in the fridge and a fully loaded kitchen. We have been back several times and can’t wait to go back next year.

Charming guesthouse for a great country visit

This guesthouse is a delight to stay in - clean, well-taken care of, with really comfy beds. The views are beautiful, and the horses are fun. Definitely recommend to add some character to a visit to a gorgeous place.

Our stay was great ! Very close by to Solvang for those interested in visiting nearby towns.I’ve stayed here multiple times now and feel very safe/comfortable this place is a joy to visit ! welcoming atmosphere all around!

Peaceful stay on a farm

We had a great time! The owners were very responsive to any requests. Wonderful location to restaurants and wineries. Absolutely loved the fresh eggs; beautiful horses and quiet.

Staying at a functioning horse ranch

Our stay at the ranch atop the barn was memorable. The horses are beautiful and seemed to welcome us strangers and so did the cat.

A lovely weekend

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. After meeting the nicest ranch hands, we checked in and were off to having a great weekend. The house was stocked with everything we needed, the beds were comfy and the location was perfect. Looking forward to going back!

Beautiful horse property!

Great location and beautiful scenery all around! We had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the accommodations are exactly as listed. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

Ranch retreat in great location

My friends and I all agreed that our stay was very enjoyable. Between visiting the horses and chickens at the ranch, walking into Los Olivos and the proximity to all the winery's, we had a great time and will be coming back. Everyone was very friendly and helpful at the property.

Everything you ever wanted on a farm :)

I really loved my stay !. It was so special , so beautiful, from the views of horses, farmland, nature all around , the beautiful countryside, sounds of roosters crowing and horses neighing, the cute town nearby, the little grocery store just down the road to walk to, no need to drive... a great place to relax, unwind and recharge. This is my second time here and I look forward to returning.

Lovely stay on active horse ranch

The apartment was super comfortable, large and very well appointed. It is directly above the horse barn, and you can see horses in the corrals all around. An added bonus for me was that a foal was born while I was there! The hosts were very friendly and accommodating.
