3 bed/ 2 bath luxury bay front cottage on San Antonio Bay. Located in seadrift texas. Outdoor shower. Couch folds to a queen bed. 200 sqft elevated porch with patio furniture. Upstairs master bed is a king size sleep number mattress. Loft with queen bed. Downstairs master with a queen bed a private bathroom. Brand new home with brand new appliances.

Three ring cameras on the property. One ring camera on front door bell. One ring camera on front left piling facing drive way. One ring camera on back right piling facing stairway

Cameras are used to deter unauthorized access and theft.

Lovely property - attentive host

Seadrift is small, and quieter than Rockport. Full porch overlooks water, facing south. 2021 full remodel. In-unit laundry. 2nd bedroom is loft over kitchen/living room area and 3rd BR on ground level. A number of higher end touches, like a bidet. Comfortable king sleep number bed. Fine getaway to warmer weather for me and my wife!

Wedge Wood Cottage on the Bay: A lovely property

Four old & dear friends on a road trip to see Whooping Cranes at Aransas Wildlife Refuge enjoyed our stay at this property. It was immaculate & beautifully decorated; had new upscale appliances & beautiful views. The host, Charles, was readily available by phone or text. When he found out what our mission was (see Whooping Cranes) he suggested a local gentleman to contact. Following that lead eventually led us to the spot where we found 5 of the rare cranes! The weather went from cold, wet & windy to sunny & warm but the cottage appliances heated & cooled well.

Perfect location

This property was exactly as advertised! Nicely furnished and a beautiful view. Separate bedroom and bathroom downstairs was PERFECT! Charles was a pleasure to work with and was a great communicator! We will definitely stay again.

This beautiful home was amazing and very peaceful.

Very clean, and quiet. I loved the get a away to unwind and reboot. A direct look at the ocean which is the icing on the cake-

Quiet get away

House was nice. There were some problems with the beds due to some obvious abuse from previous tenants, but Charles worked with us. He was very attentive. Beautiful view. It was fun watching the big ships on the Inter-coastal Canal. Restaurants were biking distance, and all the locals were really nice. It was 91 F in the afternoon compared to 100+ F in Austin. It felt like a spring day.

Excellent view

Overall it was nice. Easy access to everything, convenient location, new appliances & features. However, the refrigerator&freezer were staffed with owners food, and it was unclear whose that food was for. Master bedroom had strong odor and felt stale. The second bedroom had a separate entrance from outside, with no access to common areas, which was not in the listing description, also it had bunch of fishing gear taken lot of room space; there was no curtains on the window, so no privacy. Third bedroom is built up in the attic, and had no air flow at all, so it was hot to sleep. Also, there were two used tooth brushes in main bathroom, it felt like someone lived in the house and left us all their personal belongings. One of the guests found a scorpion in the bathroom at night and had to kill it, so there must be a place where it came through because the door stayed closed at all times. We did have good time, however, we feel like there is room for improvement.

This is a very clean house in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful view of San Antonio bay. Charles is a great host and we will definitely be staying here next time we come back to Seadrift. Worth every penny, don’t pass this one up!!

Great location

Loved the house overall and the location was great! Right on the water with an incredible view and since it is only seadrift, everything is within 5 minutes or less of the house.
