Waterfront House & Guest House on Lake Martin!

This incredible lake house is the perfect spot for you, whether you're wanting a quiet couples’ getaway, an extended family vacation, or in town for graduation or an Auburn football game! We are located on a large, private lot in a quiet slough where kids can swim and kayak safely. Travel to some of the greats such as Chuck's Pizza and Chimney Rock - that are just minutes away by water.

Four private bedrooms, two lofts, and one common area sleep 16 comfortably. The main house and a guest house make this location perfect for multiple families. The main house has 3 bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, dining and living area with fantastic views of the lake. The guest house has one bedroom, two loft areas with queen mattresses, a full bathroom, a common area with a set of full size bunk beds, and a living area, with Smart TV. We affectionally call it, “The Dorm.”

In the main house, the master bedroom has a king bed, bedroom 2 has two sets of twin XL bunk beds (sleeps 4 adults and/or children), and bedroom 3 has a queen bed. The main house sleeps 8. In the guest house, the bedroom has a queen bed and both loft mattresses are queen. The common area has one set of full size bunk beds. The guest house sleeps 8. There are televisions located in the living room and master bedroom of the main house, as well as the living area of the guest house. Free Wifi is available.

Outside there is a brand new dock (finished in April 2024) with plenty of patio furniture and cleats for securing watercraft. Off the main house you will find a sun shade, dining area for 8, and a propane gas grill. Below the house is a covered seating area with a couch, two swivel rockers, and three chaise loungers. Four kayaks (two are youth sized) and one paddleboard are available for guest use! Lastly, our favorite outdoor seating area is the fire pit. The view is absolutely stunning and here you will see some of the most breathtaking sunrises.
By land, we are conveniently located near several restaurants (Niffer's, Oskars & Lake Martin Pizza Co.), Dollar General, 35 minutes to Auburn and three miles from the public boat ramp.

House is great! It handled our large group well. The main family room is large with great views of the lake. Fire Pit is awesome. A couple of minor issues: -Wish we had been a little more prepared for the amount of paper supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, etc) we needed to bring. -Remote for one of the TV’s didn’t have batteries. -Thermostat kept locking us out when we tried to adjust the heat / cool. Our host was very responsive when we had questions or issues. We would definitely stay there again.

Long weekend away

Wonderful place

The house is great and has everything that is described. We had 11 people. The kids stayed in the guest house and it was perfect for them. The dock is outstanding. The communication with the owner was also fast and were happy to help. We would love to stay again sometime!

Lake Family Reunion

We love Lake Martin so much but have never experienced the Dadeville side of the lake before but it’s just as perfect! It was a nice surprise to find stores and restaurants close by (by land). This house/dock was so nice! Not too many stairs to get from house to water which is nice and the dock is perfectly shaded! The water amenities (lily pad and water trampoline) were a great bonus! There were some wasp nests around the railings of the main house which were a little worrisome but other than that it was perfect! Would absolutely rent this place again! Also we were here for 4th of July and got to enjoy all the beautiful fireworks!!

Wonderful place to stay

This was our second year at this property, and our 8th summer family trip to Lake Martin. Our only complaint was adults in bunk beds which is not the owners fault because they are just never gonna be as comfortable as a regular bed. We like this place so much that we make it work. The upgrades to the dock are amazing and we spent the majority of our time there when we were not out on the lake. The blob and the Lilly pad were a great hangout for our cousin group, ages 10 to 17, 8 kids! Price was great and this place is top of the line with everything u need in the kitchen even things u wouldn’t think of. Owner responds quick to questions. Early June was awesome for the temps and no bugs. We would definitely choose this place again if we don’t find anything comparable in price with less bunk beds. You can tell the owners take pride in their place!

Perfect Weekend

Four generations stayed here for Auburn graduation weekend. It was the perfect place for us! Close to Auburn, and close to family in Alexander City and Dadeville. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy getting caught up with everyone. The new covered dock with ceiling fans was the perfect gathering place both during the day and in the evenings! We definitely hope to stay here again!

AU summer graduation trip

Stayed here for my daughter’s summer graduation from Auburn. We had grandparents and adult kids and grandchildren with us and everyone had a wonderful time. House was very clean and beds comfy. There are only a few steps up to the main house which was ideal for our older folks. We bought wood and made s’mores over the fire pit and grilled burgers on the gas grill that is there. The sunrises and sunsets were incredible and the upstairs has a full wall of windows overlooking the lake to enjoy the view! Highly recommend!

Awesome place to stay

This place is amazing ! It’s our 7 th family trip to the lake with my grown children and grands ; the guest house was enjoyed by the older kids and one set of parents and the bunk room was perfect for the other kids and the other beds are very comfy for the adults! It was very clean and the kitchen is well stocked with all u need but bring toilet paper with a big group. There were plenty of towels and instructions are all laid out clearly for where to put stuff back in the kitchen; we also loved that there were lots of hooks to hang wet things and the sunroom and porch below are super for hanging out in the evenings and early mornings. Since we went in early Aug we encountered biting flies our first day so bring bug spray ; not many mosquitoes at all ! I really wish the ladder had a few extra rungs because it was difficult for the 60 year olds getting out of the water (maybe the water was low; I’m not sure) The extra plus at the last minute was the blob which was a major hit with the kids and we rented jet skies for a day ; it’s a nice private slough with minimal boat traffic! Overall, it was one of the best of all of our trips and we would definitely stay there again! Super clean and host was readily available for questions before the trip!

Graduation Trip

Very clean and very easy to navigate. Communication with the property owner was very accessible when a small issue arose but that was very small and easily fixable. The property owner lays out the expectations and makes it easy to follow. Great stay.

Gorgeous getaway
