The apartment needs some TLC and maintenance updates. Our Host-David is aware of the issues we had during our stay. David was very helpful with us every time we needed assistance.We were mostly in the apartment for bathroom, sleeping and breakfast, a few times we had dinner in the apartment.

We had a wonderful stay here as part of our vacation in Puerto Rico. The condo was beautiful, clean, spacious and had a.c which was needed in July. The view from the balcony was gorgeous. David was a very responsive host and everything we needed (including beach chairs & wagon) were available for us. He was responsive via text and even dropped off a new opener for the gate while we were out exploring El Yunque! Fantastic experience. Hope to visit again!

Thank you David for an excellent stay. The villa is exactly as stated on Vrbo. We enjoyed being on the Rio Del Mar property, close to the beach and close to the excursions in and around Rio Grande. David is an excellent host, very responsive to any and all questions - we enjoyed our stay!

Didn’t match the pictures. Older and outdated. No hot water the entire week. Owners were responsive when calling, but place was just dissappointing.

Very comfortable

Rio Mar is a great place to stay. The apartment is super comfortable, clean, and well equipped. Beds are comfy, a/c works great, nice appliances. Lovely view and quiet area. It is not super close to the beach, but none of the properties in Rio Mar are, except for the hotel. You do need to drive - 3 min.

Beautiful view and good location

Beautiful view and good location. Kitchen is well equipped and can comfortably sleep 6 people. Water heater can be tricky, takes patience may need to help kids with it. Helpful hosts and very comfortable bedding.

Overall decent with some improvement suggestions...

We had a good stay overall and the condo was decent enough to stay for 4 nights. It didn't feel very comfortable or "homey" so we didn't spend much time there and we never cooked or used the kitchen. Arrival was very easy and David was very kind to text food/activity recommendations on the morning of our arrival. He was responsive in general. When we arrived we noticed how dark the condo was and tried to open the shade in the master bedroom but it was broken. David texted to ask if he could fix it during our stay and I replied yes but then we never heard from him again and it wasn't fixed. Not that big of a deal to us because we weren't there much during the day. When my husband rolled up the blind and we immediately smelled/saw mildew/mold on the back of the shade. The other bedroom also had this issue. There is an obvious ant problem in the condo that should be addressed(even in the master bedroom there were tiny ants that made their way into our luggage). Some recommendations for the host would be: - Deep cleaning/get the ant population taken care of. - Replacement of moldy/mildewed shades and shower curtains - mattress covers - fitted and flat sheets - we only had fitted sheets to use and blankets **ALSO - the condo association is cracking down on renters using the facilities. We weren't allowed at the pool on the weekends as security was at the gate. We snuck in during the weekdays. This should be made clear to renters before staying I think.**

Beautiful

My overall impression is the property is beautiful. Communication with the manager David was amazing. He was up most of the night because i had a 4 am check in time. He was extremely helpful. My only complaint was no hot water. It would occasionally get warm for a few minutes which is hard for showers and washing dishes. The villa was clean and easy access but security was tight. It was a nice stay.

Ocean Villa

The villa is awesome....perfect for our family! Didn't mention it was down 4 flights of stairs...which wasn't a problem for us but could be for others! David, the owner was always a text away which is great! We will definitely rent from him again!!

Anniversary trip

The place was clean and so well stocked! We needed for nothing. Our host was so kind to give great recommendations for food and activities. He walked us through our arrival on the phone and even facetimed when I had trouble starting the AC. (My error- nothing lacking in the place) We really enjoyed our stay!

Awesome Stay at Amazing Ocean View Villa at Rio Mar Country Club Mameyes II

Our stay was the perfect get away at the villa. David provided us with all of the details for checking in, recommendations for restaurants, and assisting us with making tee times for three rounds of golf. The view from the balcony was captivating. We enjoyed our morning coffee, afternoon refreshments, and evenings watching the moon rise over the ocean. The villa had everything we needed and was our lovely home-away-from-home for the week. We look forward to going back in the future. Thank you so much David for being a truly super host.

Rio grande Vacation

Our stay at Rio Mar Country resort was very pleasant. Our Host David was very attentive providing us with locations to eat and have an overall great time. The Villa was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We especially enjoyed the balcony with a wonderful view. Thank you David. Looking forward to stay again. The location of the pool was ideal and the private beach was amazing

Awesome place

Upon our arrival, we noticed fresh towels, beach tools, and the AMAZING view from the balcony. David was very friendly and accomadating and graciously left us recommendations for restaurants and places to go to nearby and called us upon arrival to give us detailed instructions on how to easily enter and exit the resort. The apartment was very tidy and spacious, the kitchen was fully equipped and there was laundry detergent left for us to use. There was Netflix and Amazon Prime available for use on the TV and great wifi! Overall, a very enjoyable and relaxing experience and would definitely come back here with my family!

Beautiful Panoramic Views -- Lots of Space

David's condo located in the Wyndham development was relaxing and spacious. The balcony was our favorite part. Very large and comfortable for all six of us to hang out. You have an expansive view to the ocean, golf course, and mountains off in the distance. There's a great breeze in the early part of the day when the sun is brightest. That felt great. The neighborhood is surrounded by beautiful custom homes also. The overall development is well maintained. There was a glitch with one of the showers and the hot water. BUT David was super responsive and walked me through taking care of things. When the water wasn't hot enough because of a fault in the hot water for that bathroom, he offered to install a new one right away. That's the kind of owner you want. My only negative, and it was a minor one, is the Wyndham beach was full of seaweed. BUT this is just par for the course for at least this side of the island at times, and generally the Caribbean overall. So that's not property specific. If you're looking for a spacious condo to kick back, have quick access to all outside of the development -- all with an amazing view -- David' rental is a super option.

Vacation in Paradise

The stay was divine! The views were AMAZING!! The place was so clean! We had everything we needed at the stay. The beds were very comfy also. Its an easy drive from the airport and not hard to find using google maps. There are multiple gates with guards to go through to get to the stay. So the place is super private, and super safe. Also, we used the main pool, which we drove to from our stay, because the complex is huge, but it was very nice. And we walked from there to the beach, which is literally next door to the pool. No need to go anywhere else, really. David, our host, was very attentive to us. I was in contact with him before and during the stay. He was very responsive and gave good suggestions as to where to go and what to eat. We did not eat out every day, however, we did buy some groceries at the local grocery store. On the way there our flight was delayed, and we were very, very late getting there. David was watching out for us and gave us a call, to check on us. Because, once we got inside the complex, we did need a few more instructions to get to the VRBO (we arrived there at night). He also gave us some last instructions as to how to use the clicker for the gate and how to turn on the hot water in the condo. I appreciated David's attentiveness to us throughout the time. All in all it was a wonderful time and we did not have any problems at all. Every morning I woke up and sat on the porch to look at the view. It was amazing!I would recomend it to anyone.

Great location and adorable house!

Casa Sirena was absolutely lovely and in a great, convenient location in Rincon. We could walk to a few great restaurants, an adorable coffee shop, the beach, and to other activities. The owner was responsive to any questions and the place was clean and modern. We used the neighborhood pool which was enjoyable too. We did find that the showers were difficult. The water pressure was almost nothing in the farthest bathroom and consistent hot water was hard to come by in both showers (but not in the sinks). I think this may be an issue in Puerto Rico because we also had some issues with the showers in the first place we stayed, so I did not think it fair to downgrade by rating. I personally do not like firm mattresses, so I did not enjoy the beds, but my husband did! Just a personal preference. Overall, a great and relaxing experience!

Great location and host

This villa was incredibly comfortable. The host is wonderfully communicative and has filled the place with so many thoughtful details. He went as far as to ask for recommendations after my visit ended, and he took mine to heart. I really appreciated that. Looking forward to returning.
