4th floor view phenomenal

We enjoyed the beautiful view of the ocean from this 4th floor view above the palm trees etc. Great for us as the balcony had a 2 seat table combo for relaxing on the deck.

False advertising. Room had photos of Ocean Oak Resort pool and amenities, but this unit does NOT have access to them. The "fancy" pool with loads of palm trees was advertised. The sinple clover is what you get.When contacting Vacasa (the rental agency) they said "thats weird, but since you have a pool then it is OK." Hugely disappointed by their customer service and lack of making things right. Condo itself was great and exactly what youd hope for with a gorgeous view. Others mentioned it being small, which it is, but that is accurate given photos and description. We had 2 elementary kids who filled the bunk beds, but the fold out sofa could easily suffice.
Next door pool advertised for our use. NOT USABLE FOR THIS CONDO.

1st timers

Centrally located. Clean. Updated furnishings. Only downfall was the laundry features....best to find way to do small stackable set rather than a community area which was out of service. All in all it suited its purpose for our week stay. Will be back.

Beautiful View

The number 1 attribute of this property was the view. The bedroom was smaller than I expected plus the air conditioner was blowing directly on the individual on the left hand side of the bed. I would recommend re-arranging the bed to the wall by the door. The ice maker did not work and there was hair on the walls in the bathroom. But the view was amazing.

Vacasa would not allow us to change dates and no refund

The actual condo is lovely we stayed there a few years back, but I could not leave my review without ratings hence the poor ratings! We were to stay in Hilton head at the same time as hurricane Ian, we tried to move the dates just prior to our check in date as the hurricane was heading that way. Vacasa would not allow this as at that point Hilton Head was only supposed to be a tropical storm ( not a place you would want to be close to in that either) once they did determine Hilton Head was in the path, we reached out again to try to move dates and were still told no, only if the area was under mandatory evacuation. For our own safety we decided to not go at all and we’re not offered any change of dates or refunds. We will not be booking anything owned by Vacasa again.

Great view but that’s about it

Place had a great view but that’s about it. Furniture was uncomfortable and they had too many pieces of unnecessary furniture in such a small space, the filter for the AC was filthy, the towel fixture was so loose we were afraid to use it for fear of it coming off the wall. The bathroom mirror was also loose. The refrigerator was very loud. The dishwasher has rust on the inside. The floors are uneven and you could feel the bathtub move since it’s one of those tubs that you put over an existing tub. The caulking around the tub was pretty bad as well. The turning stick for the blinds was broken and the blinds in the bedroom were also broken. All the strings on them didn’t work. The AC in the bedroom was not efficient and it was difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature. I would not stay here again. This place needs to be updated.

Great view

The view from the balcony can not be beat! Unit was very clean and though we spent most of our time on the beach, we enjoyed breakfast on the balcony each morning. Thanks for having us; we will be back!

One of the poorest rental experiences I have had

Many things about the unit were in poor condition. We never got a parking pass and threats to tow away cars without them were clearly posted. The unit was not ready to be rented and we were guinea pigs. I wasted most of an afternoon and evening texting over and over with someone who did nothing but tell me how sorry she was. They said they didn't have anyone to help because it was Thanksgiving. The maintenance guy who came the following afternoon and only fixed the blinds said he was one guy managing 800 units and said another chain would be a better choice in the future. Two days later a member of their local team called. She refunded a little more than 1/4 off what we paid for the unit. Not much considering all the aggravation we dealt with. Just to give you a few examples, bedroom window blinds were stuck open so we had light pouring in and limited privacy since the window faced the hall. Balcony carpet was disgusting. Unit appeared not to have been swept or mopped as we were greeted by a layer of sand sticking to our feet when we arrived. Refrigerator had to be cleaned. Half of their washers and dryers were not working. Bathroom had a number of issues that should have been dealt with before renting. Then there were little things like the glass inlay on the coffee table did not fit and just stuck up. Don't rent this unit and based on the poor response we received, don't rent from Vacasa. It's hard not to conclude that this is the kind of company that spends as little as possible to maximize profits for themselves and condo owners at your expense. They will post a response that says they are sorry and that this is exceptional. I don't believe either based on how they handled my experience. If you don't have proper staffing to rent a unit, tell customers in advance so they don't have a miserable experience on their vacation. They talk idealistically about their mission but their execution is a joke.

We arrived late Thursday and were pleased with the ease of check in and cleanliness and location of room. We had a wonderful stress free trip. The room was excellent with zero issues we will be back!
