Overall great stay! Nice location walkable to Coligny Plaza, couldn’t have been easier for beach access, and excellent pool for kids. Unfortunately the bar/restaurant could only charge to the Hilton rooms and weren’t able to take credit cards so we could not buy any refreshments or snacks from them. Laundry was convenient down the hall but make sure you bring quarters, difficult to get change anywhere! Would stay here again!

Cutest Beachfront Condo

Absolutely enjoyed our stay! The condo was decorated cute, and you could tell it had been recently renovated. The showers were beautiful and wonderful to use. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary tools and pans needed for preparing food. There were ample bath towels, which I find it often not the case at rentals. The extra bedding in closets came in handy for cold kids. Would absolutely stay again! Our only complaint was that we were turned down service at the attached Oceanfront Bar and Grill for not being guests at the Hilton, which is on the same property. We were looking forward to not having to load 3 small kids into a car to get meals some days or having drinks by the pool, but unfortunately the restaurant is not open to anyone but Hilton guests.

Great location and stay with some room for improvement

We loved that we were able to enjoy the Hilton hotel amenities including the pool, and easy access to beach. We also prefer this area when we visit Hilton Head with some of our favorite restaurants nearby. The unit was comfortable in size for our family of 4 including 2 teenage boys. Beds were comfortable and had plenty of towels for our stay. Temperature was also easy to control and pleasant throughout our stay. Kitchen adequate for us to prepare breakfast each morning, and to pack lunches for the beach. Washer/dryer we typically prefer in our unit, but it was just down the hall and we packed quarters as per reading of previous reviews so we were prepared. Some room for improvement - could really use a deep cleaning. We mentioned this upon arrival and they offered to bring someone in while we were not in the room, but we did not feel comfortable with anyone coming into the unit while we were not there. We also received incorrect door entry code, wifi/password info and had to call upon arrival to get into the unit. Thankfully someone assisted us quickly for entry. Parking is also a challenge, especially in the evenings upon return. Overall, while there is some room for improvement, we would stay again.

Great location and amenities

If you’re looking for a two bedroom option for a family on the beach this is a great choice. The unit is adjacent to a resort where you can enjoy the pools and hot tubs. Bring your own beach mat. We brought our own beach towels too. Parking is easy and also along the left side both covered and uncovered spots. There were always at least a few spots. Kitchen has a keurig and coffee maker with filters. Equipped with enough to make meals we only had to run the dishwasher once when we left. The bunk beds are along the external walkway. It’s a quiet spot but every now and then voices or cars so I’d recommend a sound machine for kids if they are light sleepers. If you want to get into sea pines without 9/car/day fees rent bikes, ride along the beach and enter at the sea pines beach club. We would definitely stay here again and thought it was a great value for the location.

The location and amenities are very good

We like to walk. CBC is very convenient to the beach, walking trails and a nice little plaza was only about a half mile away. There was very little noise. The condo was clean and comfortable.

Relaxing and convenient stay

We love staying in the Forest Beach area for convenience of walking and biking to shops and restaurants. This villa was exactly what we needed—near the ocean, beautiful pools & hot tubs, comfortable beds, and clean furnishings. We debated canceling as we live in the area affected by Hurricane Helene, but I’m thankful we chose up get away. It was just what we needed. We would definitely stay in this villa again.

Carolina Beach Club condo

Great location and really great pool. My kids loved it. Quick walk to the beach. Grounds were well kept. The condo itself was not the greatest. It felt pretty dirty and could really use a deep clean. Walls, trim, doors and cabinets were filthy. I don’t think the floors were mopped before we got there. Musty smell in the unit. It also would have been nice if there would have been some beach chairs and/ or an umbrella available in the unit to use.

Fabulous location

Loved the location- so close to the beach. Loved the grounds and the pools. Quiet and comfortable with two bathrooms. Nice spot! Would stay here again. ( bring your own coffee, sugar etc as none were provided)

Nice pool and close to the beach

This property was exactly as shown. Quiet building and the first floor is up one flight of stairs (not ground level) and there is an elevator available if needed. Steps from the beach and Ocean Oak resort amenities were wonderful. The weather was cooler but we were still able to enjoy the heated pool and hot tub. Great location and a short drive, bike ride, or walk to the Coligny Beach area. Cons-There really wasn't much of a view you had to step out onto the deck and look to the right to see the ocean. Limited towels, and given only 1 dish towel and dish cloth. We couldn't get the TV to work. The beds were comfortable but the sheets were a little scratchy.

Disappointed

First, our paid-for VRBO reservation at Ocean Palms was unexpectedly cancelled because of double booking. South Forest Beach not a good value. No view, key card to pool and hot tub did not work, TV was streaming only and no instructions, no local networks. No reading lamps , seating not comfortable. Would never go there again. And dont understand how VRBO would allow double booking at Ocean Palms.
