Summary:
Welcome to "Riverside Cottage." This nicely remodeled home is in a Great LOCATION - Property is within walking distance to Catawba River w/ Marina & JR Cash Grille, riverfront restaurant as well as Tuckaseege Park. Kayak on the Catawba River. Minutes from I-85, Downtown Belmont, The Whitewater Center, Downtown Mt. Holly. This charming home has every amenities that could be squeezed in including comfortable bedding, leather furniture, new appliances, beautiful new back deck & lawn furniture. Fully stocked kitchen that's family friendly.

The Space:
Open concept home. As you walk in you will see the large open floorplan with living room, dining room & kitchen. To your left you will find 2 bedrooms & 1 bathroom with tub & shower. In the back left you will find laundry room with back access to back porch and beautiful quiet yard.

Guest Access:
Door has code for front & back door giving guests access without having to meet with owner or keep track of keys.

The Neighborhood:
Nice quiet neighborhood of Catawba Heights, Mt. Holly. This is near the Riverside community but near everything and anything you would need.

Other Things to Note:
No parties or events allowed. This is a quiet safe neighborhood and we want neighbors to always feel comfortable and happy having this home.

Interaction with Guests:
Please reach out to us if you have any questions or need anything. We live local and will be glad to help! Ring security camera is located at entrance door for safety. No cameras inside anywhere.

Great private place on a quiet street. We really enjoyed our stay here and appreciated the great communication of the hosts. We did have trouble with the bathroom and bunk bedrooms doors closing as the floor is uneven. Loved having two patios to enjoy!

Very Pleasant Stay

Our stay was 4 nights. Lots to like about this home. Immaculate and beautifully decorated. Fluffy towels, nice soap dispensers, extras in the kitchen and more, added to the experience. Washer and dryer was a bonus and much appreciated. The queen bed is one of the most comfortable we have ever slept on. Quiet area, even with new homes being built nearby. No noise issues at all. With a busy, schedule, we enjoyed at least one nice quiet evening on the front porch. The Manager was quick to respond to any questions. There is easy access to Mount Holly, Belmont, and Charlotte. The only bothersome issue for us was that if an early check in or late checkout is needed, there is a $100 charge for each. We understand the time crunch to prepare the home between guests, but would have appreciated a more flexible approach. In summary, great home, highly recommend and would stay here again.

Power boost

Lovely clean home, literally had everything we needed i mean everything. Peaceful private lovely porch amazing bird sounds. Great beds. Close to everything you need! Definitely we will come back

Comfy and cozy

This place was really nice and close to Whitewater.org where we spent our time. It was close to Belmont which had lots of good dining options. It would have been nice to have some local info at the house recommending things to do and places to eat. We almost had to call the property manager since the bathroom door was locked shut, but we managed to get it open!

Awesome clean house in a great area!

We really enjoyed our stay and the owner had amazing communication! Very clean and nice house. Beds were very comfortable, great water pressure in shower, everything worked great! Nice back yard, quiet area, just all around a great house. Thank you!!

Convenient and Very lovely place to stay while doing a lot in the area.

I thought it was very charming and completely equipped for whatever you wanted to cook, place to relax, Just sitting outside on the back deck was really nice. I would highly recommend.

Clean and Quiet

What a great place to stay! All the amenities you need in a home, lots of nice dishes, pots and pans so you can cook those great meals for your family. Just down the street is a fantastic park for kids, dogs and family fun. All shopping you need is close by. Would stay again.

Sweet little home on quiet street

This is a sweet little home that has been beautifully restored. Fully stocked kitchen and supplies. New appliances (including washer/dryer). Comfortable living room furniture/beds. On a very quiet street. Less than 1/4 mile from Tuckaseegee park with lovely walking trails and a dog park. Quaint little Brook runs through large back yard. Nice porch and deck. Powerful WiFi. Great experience.

Home Away From Home

This house is exactly as advertised - super cute and clean. We had a great three days with all the amenities we needed. The neighborhood is pleasant and very quiet. We enjoyed time on the back deck watching the fireflies! Definitely recommend.

The best VBBO rental in the area! Thr hosts are thoughtful and the property is beautiful.

This rental was well thought out on furnishings and little extras. The beds are comfortable, which is hard to find, and it was immaculately clean.

House is super cute and remodeled very well. All of our must haves in a rental property were checked off. The host has even provided multiple items that families traveling with small children would benefit from. The house is a new listing to the area so there are some growing pains that over time will work themselves out. The neighborhood is very dark so keep this in mind if you arrive late in the evening like we did. No porch light or inside lights were left on for our late arrival so it was a struggle for us just getting into the property. Three huge TVs are available to watch, however, you will have to have a subscription to one of the streaming services to watch anything besides the news. The only major issue we encountered during our stay was the cleanness of the property. This was brought up during our stay and addressed by both the host and the owner. We are confident that our feedback was taken in a positive light and adjustments will be made to avoid this for other renters in the future. The neighborhood and area are the only reasons we would not rent this property again, Too far from anything and we prefer being closer to Belmont and the activities Belmont has to offer.
