The property was clean, organized, and nicely decorated. The air conditioners worked well. Essentials were provided as well as beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers... The owner responded to any questions quickly. The location was great. Close to shopping and right on the beach. We really enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this spot to others.

This property was exactly what we were expecting. It was conveniently located close to some amazing beaches and many dining options. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub right on the property as well.

Honoring grandma

We took a family trip to Maui, specifically Maui Sunset to remember Mom/Grandma/Great-Grandma who loved Maui and owned a Condo in the Maui Sunset. Had a great time. The unit was well supplied and clean. The communication about breakage and cleaning prior to leaving felt a little terse - so that was the only deduction.

Nice getaway

I had my bachelorette party and it was perfect. We had enough space for everyone to sleep. We loved having multiple bathrooms and also a huge mirror to get ready in. The spot was clean and quiet. Check in was also super easy!!!

Great all around!

We were very impressed with this property in Kihei. Many benefits all around including close to many gorgeous beaches and amenities!The landscaping and pool area is gorgeous providing plenty of activities for a family. It would be great if the ocean front immediately in front of the condo was swimmable but this is easily rectified with all the other swimmable beaches close by. Watching the turtles come to shore during the sunset was a highlight!!! You don't get this feature at many properties. Jackie is a great host and was always responsive and accommodating with communications. Overall, an amazing experience!

We loved our stay at Maui Sunset. The amenities for the building were great and toddler friendly. There is live music every Tuesday evening to be enjoyed during the sunset. We saw sea turtles every morning on our walk along the beach - they’re not far from the building - maybe a 5 min walk. We will be back again!

Great Property & Location

This property had all the amenities we needed (washer / dryer / internet / pool / fully equipped kitchen). The property is also centrally located so you explore almost every part of the island within a short drive. The property also has groceries stores (Safeway / Foodland) close by. Finally, the owner was very responsive! We will definitely use this property again.

Beautiful, spacious, and immaculate condo

My family and I enjoyed a quick trip to Maui and stayed at this wonderful condo. There were 6 of us, 4 adults and 2 young children. There was enough room for all of us, and we were quite comfortable! My son and his family stayed in the master suite with an ensuite. There was another full bathroom. We really loved this place!

Maui Sunset in Kihei

The unit was very clean, comfortable, and well stocked with basic necessities. The property grounds were also very nice as well and were quiet and peaceful. Parking was easy, and I appreciated not having to pay a daily parking fee like at some other places. Huge plus that we could do laundry in the unit. It did not show in the photos, but one of the bedrooms did not actually have a door, just curtains. Overall, a great place to stay if you are traveling with multiple family members. Would recommend.

Enjoyable stay, beautiful landscaping

I recently stayed at this property with my family. It's beautifully manicured. We all enjoyed walking the property. They had herbs that we could pick for our own use! There are tennis courts, a small putting area, nicely kept pool and hot tub with jets that we all greatly enjoyed. The beach on the property is very rocky, so I'd go there to just pick shells and look at the sunset. There are nicer beaches a short distance though you can drive to. The area is nice, with markets and good places to eat nearby. There was an event while we were there that the property managers notified us about, which was very thoughtful. The place is very nicely equipped and furnished. It's nice that they made a small area into an extra bedroom, but it does take space away from the living room. We were very sad to leave, and my kids are already asking when we're returning. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Family Vacation Condo

Overall great place to stay! It is a great location - nice, safe area. Excellent condition of the condo and the complex. The condo is an end unit which is larger than most, the decor was nice and updated, it is very well cared for, and very clean - even the baseboards! We were a family of six and there was plenty of space for luggage and 3 bikes. The bedrooms were large and beds were comfortable. The combination of living room, dinette, patio, and living room provided enough space for all of us to make dinner and hang out in the evenings. We were on the go most of the time anyway. The complex is not new, but it is clearly well maintained, especially for being on the ocean. The grounds were extremely well manicured, including the putting greens (real grass), the shuffleboards, pool, and tennis courts. Even the 6 gas BBQs were cleaned daily. The complex has direct access to the beach where we saw turtles coming on to shore to lay eggs (a short walk down from the condo)! Jackie was very responsive in all of our communications. The check-in process was really easy - no keys required. We would highly recommend staying here!

Secluded Setting Near It All

If you want a quiet secluded setting with all the amenities but near stores, restaurants and snorkel ready beaches stay here. Great general layout, balcony, awesome internet connection, pool, beach and much more. Loved all the beach supplies like chairs, sand toys, coolers etc. Kitchen had plenty of stuff for our stay and Jackie was a great communicator. They even label all the switches and what they do! The layout of the living room to the kitchen was great for a group to hang out. TVs were great and updated. Easy to connect to streaming accounts. Property is quite large and you feel very secluded. Gorgeous gardens and during our stay they had an herb garden you can pick from for your cooking needs. Elevators were well maintained and had good timers. Close to restaurants, food trucks, and shopping but still a quiet area to stay. Pool has rental area. FYI the beds are super super soft so if that’s not your jam and you like firmer mattresses you were warned. Bedding quality is typical of rental properties. The only other FYI moment is the third bedroom 1) doesn’t have a door, it’s a curtain 2) had two large cutouts in the wall that open into the kitchen so you hear sounds and see lights from the main living area. We had issues with the person staying in that room being woken up by people who were getting up early/not being able to go to bed earlier than others and not being able to nap. 3) Is quite small. They do have a pull out couch if needed in the living room.

Aloha! We first came to Kihei for our honeymoon and completely fell in love with it. The warm breeze, the sunsets, the easy pace of life - it all just felt right. We knew we wanted to have a home here, somewhere in the heart of town where we could walk to local shops and restaurants, and spend our days by the beach. Over time, that dream became a reality.

Hosting in Maui has been a joy for our family. There's something really special about sharing this island with others. Whether it's your first visit or your tenth, Maui has a way of helping people slow down and enjoy the moment. We love hearing that our guests watched the sunrise from the lanai, took long beach walks, or discovered a new favorite café just down the road. It means a lot to be part of someone’s vacation memories.

Our home is set up with comfort in mind, and we’ve tried to think of the small things that make a stay feel easy and relaxed. We hope you feel welcome here, and that your time in Kihei is filled with sunshine, good food, and plenty of moments that stay with you long after you leave.

Seascape at Maui Sunset is a unique property. It has 2 bedroom PLUS (with an additional guest bedroom). We call it out 2 Plus. It is large enough to comfortably sleep 8-9 people (with at least one guest under the age of 18 yrs old).
Our family enough all the amenities of Maui Sunset including the beautiful pool overlooking the ocean, tennis courts, gym, and multiple lawn games. There is something for everyone in the family to enjoy.
