Bring your family to come relax & refresh yourself at The Turtle Nest. The Turtle Nest is a beach themed home, offers plenty of space to spread out for some alone time or come together and play. The location of this home puts you just minutes from beaches, shopping and restaurants, with world class beaches just a hop, jump and a skip away.
The Turtle Nest offers a ton of fun in the sun! Hang out in the screened lanai and watch the kids swim & play, non stop in the heated pool. We’ve provided pool towels, pool noodles, floats, dive sticks, and goggles. Ground yourself and relax while soaking up the sun with your toes in the white sand in our new white beach sand fire pit area, or relax on one of the 2 lounge chairs while watching the kids play the numerous, assorted outdoor games, like ladder toss, jenga, connect four, or corn hole. Mosey past our Mango tree for a snack before heading over to the hammock with a book, where you can relax as long as you want. When its time to eat, the kitchen is fully stocked and ready to go, a gas grill, and grilling utensils are provided to BBQ something up! If you don’t feel like cooking, there are numerous restaurants and options within a 3 mile radius, as well as delivery services available.
The Turtle Nest is centrally located to explore many of the renowned gulf shore beaches, Florida has to offer. Whether you want to pop over to the beach for an hour or two or take the day for a beach adventure we have plenty to make your family beach day memorable! Port Charlotte Beach is a short 8 min drive. Exquisite beaches such as Manasota KeyBeach, Boca Grande Beaches and Venice Beach within 20-24 miles. The garage is equipped with a cooler, 4 beach chairs, a beach umbrella, sand toys and a beach wagon to pull it all! Love to fish? 2 saltwater surf poles have been provided, so head over to the local bait shop and throw a line in the water at one of the many fishing piers/spots in the area.
All new furniture and mattresses throughout was selected for comfort. Each bedroom has a theme. The “Octopus room” features a queen bed w/ a bathroom and walk in closet, the “Turtle” room features a queen bed, and the “Shark” Room features 2 twin beds as a trundle. This 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home can accommodate up to 8 people (if the reservation is for more than 6 people, please note 2 people would be sleeping on the fold out couch with an upgraded luxury mattress, in the Florida room, which is a common/shared space of the home.) Each room has a smart TV, alarm clock, sound machine, ceiling fan, wind machine fan, & a flashlight. Wake up and make yourself a cup of coffee or tea from the coffee bar, decide if you’d like just a cup or a whole pot with the dual option Keurig. Nestle into one of the many couches or chairs available and play card or a board game, watch some sports or catch up on your favorite shows on the 72 inch smart TV. Fast Wi-Fi and a desk area for those who work remotely.
Parents of little children, you don’t have to pack all the extra stuff, we’ve provided a pack n play, high chair, stroller, as well as to audio baby monitors to make your travel a little less stressful. Door notifications on exterior doors help with piece of mind for families traveling with littles to be able to hear if the pool slider or front door opens. The Turtles Nest is protected with an ADT Security System for piece of mind, 2 EXTERIOR ONLY cameras are located in the front of the property facing the front door and the driveway.
