We enjoyed our stay in this property. The layout of the house was perfect for two families (plus in-laws!) with young kids. Close to everything you need and was well-stocked. Would stay again.

Great Rental and Fun Weekend

Property fit our group well and had a great time on the island. Loved having multiple decks to enjoy the weather when we were back from the beach. Lovely home and would recommend for your next stay!

We liked the open plan living area with lots of windows. 2 decks on either side meant you always had somewhere to sit in or out of the sun, whichever you chose. Deck facing the 9th tee box had a great breeze, and in the shade for outdoor dinners. Code pad lock for the door meant no juggling keys amongst the guests - all houses should have this! Golf carts were great - one zippy 4 seater, and one more sedate 6 seater, but with a bluetooth music system. Both in great condition. Host was responsive and made the arrangements easy. A great week!

Great house for a family getaway

This house was perfect for our family trip to Bald Head. The views from the main living area are gorgeous and the porches are the perfect spot to sip on drinks and relax. It’s a great location, easy to get to the main marina as well as the market. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook during our entire stay. The owners always quickly responded to all messages and very friendly. The house was clean, cozy, and perfect for a large family or multiple families looking for a vacation rental.

Beautiful home and Great location on BHI!

My family loved this recently updated and very comfortable home on BHI. The house worked perfectly for us and we will be back! We have rented homes at Bald Head before and some of them are a little too loved and need major updating. This home was in amazing condition! The golf carts were in great condition and fast. Definitely look at this home for your stay at BHI!

Living out 2023 Beach Era

The space was wonderful for our blended family and friends trip to the beach. We had 4 kids under 5, and a grandma and the space worked well for all of us. Love the double decks and the overall layout of the space. All the bedrooms are on one side and living space on the other. So we could put the kiddos to bed, and still hang out without disrupting them.

Such a great property all the way around!

We had an amazing week. This house is fabulous and everything was so clean. We had everything we needed and enjoyed every minute. Golf carts were great, the bikes wonderful, location so convenient, quiet, and peaceful. Had a lovely lightening display one night and we loved watching it from the living area. The light in the living room/den area is fabulous! Love all the light! The bedrooms worked out so well, kitchen well equipped and joy to use—bathrooms were spacious and water pressure so good—a huge plus! We highly recommend this home. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home!

If We Could Tern Back Time

If you want to be close to the Bald Head Island beach, but don’t want to be on one of the golf cart main drags or near a lot of beach foot traffic, this is the home for you. It’s walking or a short cart-ride distance from beach access points, but tucked away on a very quiet street facing the golf course. The kitchen and bathrooms are recently updated. The home has all of the amenities, including two golf carts. The booking process was seamless and host Erin Pate was very accessible and helpful. If we could “Tern Back Time” we’d do it all over again.

Tern Back Time

Lots of space. Enough beds for parents, two children & their families (four kids ages 6-17). Kitchen well equipped. Golf carts to transport 10 around the island. Lots of fun! Great Beaches. No direct access from property. We had difficulty with the fridge not getting cold. First night We contacted the owner but never heard back. Fridge got colder & by Monday it kept the food cold & freezer started making ice.

Charles, Im sorry to hear about the fridge…it is only a year old and we have not heard of any issues . We are always available and communicate quickly with all of our renters. We send multiple messages through the VRBO platform checking in with our guests throughout the week and I did not see any messages from you all week. I do not see any phone calls or text message's either, so I am wondering how you tried to contact us? I hope you enjoyed the rest of your week and would love to have you and your family back. -Erin

I can’t think of a way to improve the experience. If any aspect was particularly outstanding it was the excellent communication with the host. She messaged a couple of times to make sure all was well and that we were happy with the accommodations.

Erin accommodated me and my party for our wedding week by allowing us a early checkin and worked with us on a check out. The process was great and real smooth.
