Cheerfull 2 bedroom Basement Apartment

I apologize for the one hour delay in check-in and understand how inconvenient that can be. To provide context, this was a rare one time occurrence during my 5 years of hosting. The delay happened because the previous guest failed to check out on time and mistakenly believed they had reserved an additional day, leaving personal belongings in the home. I contacted the incoming guest immediately to explain the situation, but did not receive a response until she was already on her way. Once we were able to have the previous guest check out, the home was cleaned thoroughly, which took hours before welcoming the next guest. The space was cleaned and prepared prior to check-in. Any concerns raised regarding cleanliness appear to stem from frustration related to the unexpected delay rather than the overall condition of the property. A refund was offered as a goodwill gesture for the inconvenience. I wish I were able to attach screenshots and documentation of the conversations here to clearly show the timeline and how the situation was handled. This incident does not reflect the usual experience guests have at our place, and steps were taken to prevent this from happening again.

Typically, parking is never an issue, and parking is 100% guaranteed! we always have a backup plan available with our 3rd driveway. With a bit of communication from you, we would have been happy to provide access to that space if we had been informed.
