Welcome to The Tree House, a haven of adventure and relaxation nestled at the base of Overlook Mountain on our family rescue farm. Designed with families and friends' getaways in mind, this idyllic apartment offers the perfect blend of nature retreat and stylish vacation home.

Situated on 30 acres of private land, The Tree House provides easy access to a variety of attractions, including a heated pool (available from May to September) and rescue animals, you can relax in the wood-burning sauna, swim in a small waterfall and 3ft swimming hole, and enjoy the serenity of a private stream and woods. Other outdoor amenities include hammocks, picnic tables, a fire pit, BBQ area, a children's play set, and a trampoline.

While the natural beauty surrounding our location takes center stage, we haven't compromised on comfort inside the apartment. The apartment features two bedrooms, each furnished with queen-sized beds, as well as a spacious living and dining area, providing ample space for families to relax and unwind. Rest easy on all-natural, chemical-free Tempur-Pedic mattresses, providing a serene and rejuvenating sleep experience. Enjoy the convenience of a toaster oven, a coffee machine, and even a popcorn machine. A large TV with access to popular streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu, as well as strong Wi-Fi, cater to your entertainment needs.

As you venture further into the property, be captivated by our wonderful rescue animals, which include 2 horses, 4 miniature donkeys, 2 emus, 3 pigs, 3 roosters, 16 hens, 3 rabbits, and 23 geese. Guests are welcome to walk around and say hi to the animals on their own or we offer animal tours for guests interested in learning more about our friendly residents.

Delight in the ambiance of our wood-burning sauna, where serenity and rejuvenation await. A tranquil small waterfall cascades into a refreshing 3ft swimming hole, while a private stream meanders through the property. Engage in captivating conversations under the starry sky while gathered around the fire pit. Embark on serene strolls through the enchanting private woods, with plenty of opportunities to see some amazing wildlife including rabbits, deer, owls, eagles, hawks, foxes and more! Indulge in moments of pure bliss as you sway gently in our inviting hammocks, gather for picnics at our picnic tables, or savor the delights of outdoor cooking with our convenient BBQ facilities.

The property includes three other houses, two of which are occupied by the owner's family, and the third is also available for guests. With its own entrance, The Tree House ensures complete privacy for our guests. The apartment is located above an apartment used by family members.

Guests are able to park multiple cars outside of the apartment. Guest will be provided a map of the property and local recommendations.

All bookings of 3 nights or more include an animal tour AND session in the wood-burning sauna by the stream!

All bookings of 2 nights include EITHER an animal tour OR session in the wood-burning sauna by the stream! (If you would like to do both, this can be offered at an additional cost).

We always do our best to work with guest's schedules for both activities but ask for a minimum of 1 day heads up for the animal tour and 5 hour heads up for the sauna. If guests would like to use the sauna again during their stay, there will be an additional cost of $75/use.

Bringing a furry friend with you? Great! We love pets! Just remember to add this into your booking so that we can accommodate you accordingly.
