The condo complex also features a shared outdoor pool where you can spend afternoons basking in the sun.

Start your day with morning coffee on the condo's balcony that overlooks the harbor. Feel the breeze through the palm trees while you watch boats pass by and map out plans for the day. Step inside to the sunlit living area where ample seating surrounds a smart TV. Channel your inner chef in the well-equipped kitchen, then share meals at the six-person dining table. Additional perks include central AC and a private washer/dryer.

Easy check in… Kitchen was nice and clean! View/area was excellent, nice to walk along marina. Nice bakery/coffee shop just downstairs. Bedrooms could use a few tiny upgrades but overall quite a good experience!

Unit was clean and as presented in the listing. We stayed here while attending an event at Shelter Cove Park and the location was perfect. We were within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and bars. Would definitely stay here again.

Birthday Trio

We requested early check in and received no responses. We had to travel to the far south end of the island to sign a packet with no information even though we created both apps for the information. With Friday traffic this added almost 2 hours to our drive and before we could enter the unit.The shower in the 2nd bathroom did not work. The elevator broke Friday night and a sign was posted saying no repairs until Monday. This was extremely inconvenient as we were on the 2nd floor with a 1 year old in a stroller and an elderly man with mobility issues. We could not use the luggage carts so had to make numerous trips to pack our cars.We requested a late check out and/or an extension for 1 night to our stay and never received communication back until I texted the guest relations number on Friday and was told no for both. A late check in at 4 PM combined with an early check out of 10 AM is horrible for the money we paid.

Beautiful view

We enjoyed a girls weekend at this lovely condo. The view of the harbor at Shelter Cove was beautiful. The condo was very comfortable. It was convenient and provided everything we needed.

Beautiful Condo in perfect setting

Harbourside 7106 was perfect for my wife and I. The place was very clean, more spacious than we thought, and very comfortable. Plenty of towels was a plus. The views from the balcony were awesome. Easy check in and out. We will definitely be back here!

Nice little getaway!

Nice mid-island condo/apt may seem a tad tight on arrival, but it grows on you as your visit progresses. The unit was updated within the last 5-7 years likely so the bathrooms were nice. Complaints about drainage probably due to complex's overall age. Some sinks drain slower than others, but showers were fine. (You can imagine how myriad renters throughout the whole complex pouring grease down drains might affect individual units.) The unit is bright, pleasant, and during the late afternoons a bit over-sunny as the sun sets straight across from you, but the porch view of the harbor is quite lovely. Beds are comfortable, and the second bedroom with its twin bunk beds, and queen make for the perfect kid's hideaway. The buzz from the bistro below the unit doesn't last beyond 10 pm, and being able to go one floor down to breakfast or brunch at the excellent Hilton Head Social Bakery cannot be overlooked as a definite plus! A small pool is available just across the unit's parking lot in easy view of the front door, and its perfect for anyone who would like an easy dip. Only thing needing a bit of clarification is initial parking set-up. The units have their own small lot just outside the elevator that is separate from the public lots across the access road for the whole of Shelter Cove. Vacasa will give you a QR code in your arrival packet, but it isn't your parking pass. You must first go across the main highway (278/W. Hilton Pkwy) into Palmetto Dunes proper. Bear to the right upon entering, and you will see signs to the Pass Office which is is a drive-thru window. There, they'll give you a card-stock pass for display back across the street at the unit proper. Given the very fair price point for the rental, I believe this is a nice place to stay if you don't insist on being on the beach proper. Shelter Cove offers dining and boat charters that will help fill non-beach time.

Amazing condo, not so great rental company

The condo is beautiful, great location. The view is outstanding! The beds are comfortable. I would rent the condo itself in a heartbeat. However, I would not rent with Vacasa again. On our first day there the shower did not drain properly. We contacted Vacasa and they sent someone out the next day who was unable to fix it and actually made the problem worse. In our second full day the shower in the primary bedroom did not drain at all so we all shared the shower in the second bedroom. By the third day the shower still did not drain and dirty water started backing up into it. We called Vacasa and they told us there was a “ticket in” for it and someone would call us. No one did. We called the next day and were told the same thing. We stopped calling. They never bothered to follow up with us, never fixed it, never tried to make it right. Would have come back here yearly but can’t risk something else going wrong and their unwillingness to address the issue.

Nice at first signt

2 weeks stay. First week no cooking was done. Second week open the cupboards to cook pots and pans just thrown in the cupboard, dishwasher, mold, inside, mold, caked on the silverware tray inside of the dishwasher. There were crushed up potato chips in the bottom of the stove, a filthy unidentified Utensil in a dirty drawer next to the stove. Dirty shower curtain in the primary closet along with a bunch of bedding and things just thrown in each of the closets. The main closet in the living room was full of junk. I would venture to say if this was a private owner of this condo they have not been there in a while, if this is a business that owns this condo, it certainly shows , I did contact the property management when there were no comforters on the beds. They quickly brought those. Was never able to get the dishwasher cleaned as the staff returned late in the day when we were busy, we asked them to come back they never did. Not much of a vacation when you’re having to wash the dishes.

Right on the docks. Palmetto Dunes Pass to get to the beach just a short drive across the main road. Public parking right at the Dunes House. Great place. Great location.

Terrible Communication

The comforter on the bed was dirty and the TV in the master bedroom didn’t work. I tried communicate with the phone number by calling (there was never any answer), texting and by email. I was told the property manager would contact me. They never did. I received a clean blanket on the 3rd day of my 4 day trip. The TV was never fixed or attempted to be fixed. I was super disappointed with the communication and customer service. I know mistakes happen, but there was no attempt to resolve it. And that’s what made me not want to rent with Vacasa ever again.

Awesome location and comfortable stay

We liked this unit. Some little things could use updating and I didn’t love having to go to a different location to check in, but overall this was a great stay and I would stay there again. Loved hearing live music from the balcony porch every evening, that was a huge bonus. My husband and I and two teens fit great in this condo. The second bedroom had more beds than shown in the listing, so that would be a bonus for larger families. The second bedroom also has its own door to the outside of the unit. If you have little kids staying in that room alone who can open doorknobs, that could be scary, but you could always move something in front of it if you bring little ones (in the listing it shows a seat in front of it, but that is in the living room now because of the larger bed added to the room). We took the stairs other than when bringing luggage up and down because signs were posted that the elevator goes down often and to make sure you take your phone with you in case you get stuck. It’s only the second floor so stairs aren’t bad and we didn’t want to risk getting stuck. We love Shelter Cove and this condo had a great view of it and was situated in a really good spot. We enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic view & location

Everything about our stay was easy! The check in and out, the parking, the location, and the eating! The view was just beautiful and we got pastries from the bakery below every day. I also found the king size bed very comfortable (although slept a little hot).

Awesome stay, great condo

Check in was very smooth, condo just as advertised. We had an issue with the living room tv where we were getting a message on the screen. We called in and had a callback from the owner within 10 minutes. He advised that they had a new tv on order and it would be there the next day. Without fail, they delivered and installed the TV the following day.. Would book again.

Very nice

The condo was very clean and in a great location. Beds were comfortable. We had four ladies staying for just a few days and did not cook or use the washer/dryer. We would definitely stay here again.
