The land is wide open and the neighbors are great. Just make sure to keep any fireworks or loud music down after 9pm
Currently no RVs allowed on property (town ordinance), but ATVs, bikes, etc are welcome. (at own risk)

LOVE!

We absolutely loved this home. Perfect in every way. Home Owners were amazing and had everything you could need for your stay. We spent time hanging out with the chickens and admiring the beautiful landscaping on the property.

Amazing Property!

I never wanted to leave! This property is awesome and we loved it! Had a small issue with a shower head that was immediately fixed after texting the owner and was told immediately that if anything went wrong just to message and they would come out to check on it! Loved the owners and the whole stay together was an amazing time! Will be coming here again for sure!

Peaceful Perfection

We planned to visit friends in the area and needed a place to stay that was dog friendly. This place was that and so much more. Jenn and Rick went out of their way to help us find a dog sitter or kennel for when we were away from our Shiloh. They were so accommodating and the home was so comfortable and perfect. Very welcoming and had all the extra amenities. The master bed was so comfortable. Looking forward to coming back and staying there again. A definite 10 out of 10.

We cannot wait to return!

I found this property after deciding last minute to squeeze in a family vacation/ my 38th Birthday celebration. It exceeded our expectations! The property is incredible, quiet atmosphere but still close enough to commute into Charleston. We enjoyed this place so much with our 7 year old and almost 2 year old. If you're considering booking this property DO IT- YOU WILL NOT REGET IT.

Home Away From Home

We had the absolute best time on our stay. It was the perfect location to get our siblings and kids together for some great family fun. This house has endless wonders with my favorite being the Master bath rain shower. The hosts were very accommodating with answering any questions and checking in that we had everything we needed and more. We are all grateful for the experience and hope to return in the near future.

A Definite Do Again

Our family came for the garden tour in downtown Charleston, but found ourselves wanting to stay in Meggett - lounging on the porch swings, making friends with the chickens, savoring the sunsets, listening to the sounds of the marsh, and enjoying such a unique house set on a gorgeous piece of property.

Perfect house, property and experience

8 of us stayed here for our daughters graduation from College of Charleston and while it is a drive it was totally worth it. This property is perfect for entertaining and super comfortable and is by far the best stocked VRBO I’ve ever rented. The house is beautiful and eclectic. The zipline and kayaks and bonfire pit were perfect for relaxing after busy days in Charleston. Jennifer is super amazing at communicating and encouraged us to take advantage of everything. It was the perfect stay!

Perfect and very cute place for our group

We booked this place last minute for our group of 8 adults for the holiday weekend. What a pleasant surprise this place was! It was far more amazing than the description. They have everything you need!! All you really need to bring with you is your clothes and some food and drinks. They have all of the things you would need in the kitchen to fix your meals. There are plenty of linens and lots of extra towels. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen was great for gathering and visiting. The front porch was a great hangout with plenty of seating. We enjoyed the fresh eggs from the chickens that are on the property. My dogs were more than welcomed by all of the extras, such as treats, water/food bowls, beds and more. We can’t wait to plan a longer trip next time and plan to book this place again!! I could go on and on.. we have stayed at many vacation properties and this was by far one of our favorites!!

Kiawah, Edisto, Charleston (DTWN), Mount Pleasant, Ace Basin and everything in between. Come on out and chill with us.

This property is ideal for small or large groups. Family reunions, golf getaways, last minute beach trips....whatever! This is your spot! We are located within 10 minutes of Stono Ferry Golf Course, 30 minutes from Downtown Charleston, Edisto Beach, Johns Island, Ravenel, and only 45 minutes from Kiawah. The entertaining space here is incredible from our open floorpan to the golf set ups outside, screened and open patios, firepits, hammocks; you name it. Come play!
