First let me say that I am truly sorry to read this. Your fist email we received stated that you loved the condo but you had noticed about five bugs. In Florida we have a lot of bugs and when the doors are left open these bugs quickly invite themselves in--especially in a ground floor condo. This unfortunately happened from the previous guest. We immediately worked to resolve this problem by personally spraying and then having the professional exterminator come. We assumed that all was well as we did not hear from you again until after you returned home. Upon discussing your concerns (after you returned home) we agreed to a monetary refund amount and once again felt that this was an acceptable solution for you. If the situation was totally unacceptable we would have happily tried to either move you to another property or we would have refunded and cancelled your stay immediately. It is unfortunate that this situation occurred.

First let me say that we are truly sorry that you feel we did not meet your expectations. That being said I must say that this condo had just been deep cleaned prior to your arrival. This doesn't mean that something could not have been missed but we never received any communication from you during your stay stating any problems and we currently have people staying in the condo who do not have any of these problems. Additionally this condo is not updated and the pictures do clearly show this. Again I apologize that you feel that this condo had problems but please, wherever you decide to stay in the future, be fair to the people renting to you and contact them and give them an opportunity to fix anything you feel needs corrected.

While we are disappointed you did not have a perfect stay with us we are very happy you found the condo clean. This is a very trying time for the hospitality business and we have focused heavily on cleaning. Feedback from our guests is truly appreciated, but your linen issue could have easily been remedied with a phone call and we would have happily brought you new linens. Neither our housekeeper or our inspector noticed an issue with these and while it is unusual sometimes things are missed and we sincerely apologize for this. While we do supply some household essentials, in your paperwork we list these and inform you they are only starter amounts. We do realize that not everyone reads everything we send but given the chance, we could have discussed this and worked with you for your needs. Each condo is individually owned and you will find that with different owners there will be varying degrees of furnishings and updates--some owners have completely renovated while others have done minor face lifts and some have not updated at all. Our pictures are the telling reality as we strive to keep them current and untouched, then we price the rent accordingly. We would love to have you visit us again and we could discuss with you your expectations for a property then together we could find the perfect rental for your needs.
