Locksmith needed to enter. No hot water. After plumber came, you could only run hot water in one room at a time. The furniture was very uncomfortable. The showers were slippery. There were no spoons for cereal. The storm doors did not fit properly. The sink in one bathroom was about 4 inches by 6 inches. A joke. The response to our problems was genuine and quick but these issues never should have happened in the first place.

UK Family Weekend

Our family stayed for our UK student’s family weekend. It was the perfect size and perfect location to meet our needs during our visit. Highly recommend this house and these hosts!

March Stay

We had a girls weekend at this property, and it was perfect! Perfect location to downtown and to last minute snacks/food, clean, lots of beds for people to sleep, and super trendy. I would highly recommend staying at this property!

Paid for a five star stay and got a two star stay. I don’t understand how this property looked acceptable to be rented by its owners. It’s obvious prep was barely done for our stay. Let me just preface this with I don’t think I’ve ever given a bad review before now, I like to think I’m a reasonable person. We got this rental for parents weekend and it was double the price because of that, with that said this rental is barely worth the original cost to rent. Where do I begin? The back deck is not welcoming, old cushions with mold on them, backyard unkept, the kitchen had what I suspected to be mouse droppings in the cabinets and some drawers, the blinds were broken in places, ALL of the windows had piles of dead bugs in them, dust and dead gnats on the shelves where the dishes and cups were and on top of the refrigerator, living room couch cushion has an obvious stain on it, the walls and trim were dirty and scuffed up throughout the whole house, bathrooms had mold on the caulk and window area has chipping paint, the wash machine has what appears to be mold on the outside of it, the floors throughout the house were very much not cleaned lately, the washcloths smelled like mold or mildew, front door screen is broke and just left opened. House had an obvious odor when you walked in and the property owners know it because they have odor eliminator containers in the kitchen. The owners came out and cleaned the mouse stuff. So gross and I’m glad to be gone.

The location was very clean and conveniently located to shops and restaurants. The house was exactlt as advertised and had everything we needed. The communication was with the owner was awesome.

Gather in LEX

This property, while small, delivered for our group of 7 adults (two couples, 3 singles) for a long weekend celebrating a friends wedding. We were able to cook for 7 easily in the kitchen and we ate outside on the deck. The hot tub and more importantly the fire pit (and accompanying S’Mores) were an awesome addition to our weekend plans.
