Uniquely styled octagon shaped home. Just 2 miles to the lake

Welcome to Lake Haven Lodge, also known as The Octagon. What started life as a State Park Welcome Center has now become an inviting vacation spot in the beautiful Lake Cumberland community. Moved here in 1980 and added on to, this mixture of rustic cabin, meets mid-century modern is ready to accommodate your family vacation. Located within the Golden Pond community, it’s a short drive to several boat launches, Conley Bottom Marina, Wal-mart and the city of Monticello. Come pull up a chair and relax on the large wrap around porch or enjoy a some s’mores in the fire pit out back. The half-circle driveway will easily accommodate pulling a boat or trailer. We fell in love with this unique home and the beautiful Lake Cumberland community of Monticello, KY. We look forward to you being our guest and hope you love our home as much as we do.
A newly listed property in beautiful Golden Pond Resort starting July 9, 2022. A uniquely styled, octagon shaped 3 bedroom two bath house. 2 minutes away from the lake, 3 miles away from the marina. Plenty of yard space for your 4 legged friend to run and play. Sit outside and enjoy yourself around a nice little fire. See the occasional deer or turkey come by. To hot outside, come splash around or just relax by the pool. The pool is not in the back yard, it is a short walk to Pool and tennis court. Kids wanna play, we have a play area for them too. For extra security we have a camera pointed at the driveway and one on the a/c unit.

Love it!!

We had a great time!! Super convenient to the dock, stocked with what you need, clean, and hosts a good amount of people. Host was super friendly and easy to contact. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay, it felt like a home away from home. The house is very unique, and has a lot of space, was clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Property fit our needs well. Clean, quiet, room for the kids and dog to play. Plenty of parking for the trucks, vans and boat trailers. Will definitely book again.

Very nice place, close to boat ramp and marina.

The property clean, nice and spacious. Plenty of parking. Me and Dad enjoyed our stay, for our fishing trip. The only negative is the roads near the house are very narrow if you are pulling a trailer. Nothing the owners can do about that. Nice place.

Location, location, location. This unique house is charming with a modern living space, updated shared bathroom for two of the bedrooms, large master with comfortable bed offering office desk if needed, and kitchen is well equipped. Large yard for pets to explore and plenty of space on the covered porch. Will definitely rent again.

Loved the place

The house was spacious and comfortable. It was clean and very well stocked. It was stocked better than most. We love the location and the big porch. We had several friends come for a visit and we had plenty of room. The beds were comfortable and we didn’t have any issues. The property manager was very efficient and accommodating. We loved it and highly recommend it. Oh yes, the fire pit in the back is fantastic.

Great place and area!

We were very surprised how nice, clean, and spacious this cabin was! We all thought the pictures didn't do it justice! Very nice and quiet neighborhood around it. Our dogs enjoyed going on walks around the neighborhood or trails near by. If we needed to run to town, it was only 10ish minutes away which isn't bad. It has ROKU tv, which was our only negative, but that's a personal preference and we don't usually rent a cabin to sit and watch tv all day. In all, we absolutely loved this place and would definitely rent it again!!!!

Fun place to meet up

We had never been to the area and this was a great mid point for us to meet up either friends. The space was unique, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and drove to near by towns go explore during the day.

Pleasant and cozy

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at this Cabin. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. The beds were comfortable and the kids enjoyed the bunk beds. Great location to the Marina and the circulal driveway was convenient for parking the boat (tip- pull into the driveway for the office to make the left turn into the driveway). Highly recommended!
