Dear Meshella, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that your stay wasn’t as seamless as we all would have hoped. I want to clarify a few points to ensure that there’s an accurate understanding of the situation. AC Issue: When you first reported the issue with the AC and thermostat it was at 10:30 at night on Saturday and we tried to diagnose the problem promptly. We quickly realized it was an AC unit issue rather than the thermostat itself. Given that it was a Sunday and a holiday weekend, we arranged for an emergency service, and the AC company arrived and resolved the issue by noon the following day. You were told that you did not have to be there yet you chose to, then stated in your review that you lost half day. I understand that being without AC for a night of your stay was inconvenient, but we acted as swiftly as possible to resolve the problem. It was not two nights as you had stated in the review rather 13 hours from the time you informed us of the issue to resolution. Communication: I assure you that your request for compensation was not ignored I provided prompt response to your request. I am sorry it was not what you want to hear. I have records of our communication, including responses to your messages and our efforts to address the AC issue most responses were within 1-5 minutes., Given the issue you had with the AC, I didn’t request additional compensation for the extra guests invited to the birthday party without prior arrangements and my permission. My home is designed to accommodate six people, not over ten, but I felt this was a fair trade for the night the AC stoped working. Toilet Issue: I was sorry to hear about the toilet issue on your final day. While I cannot control how amenities are used, I do apologize for any inconvenience caused. I wish I could have fixed this sooner, but I was not aware of the problem until your last message that was sent after your departure, so yes the polite way to respond from a host was thank you for letting us know so we can fix it for the next guests. The toilet worked just fine upon your arrival. Skeeball Machine: I regret that the skeeball machine was not functional previews guests who stayed there for few weeks did not report any issues therefore I was not aware of it not working. I’ll look into this to ensure future guests are aware of its status. I understand that these issues impacted your experience, and I truly appreciate your feedback. I strive to maintain high standards for my property and guests, and I will use your comments to improve. For future stays with other hosts, I would kindly ask that you ensure all facts are accurately stated so that potential guests get a complete and fair picture and like wise I would not host you again. You should look into hotel options! I do not agree with your 2 star review as we provided a 5 star service from the arrival to your departure.
