Lovely home - Seaside has changed.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was as expected although we didn't realize it was set back so far from the street and wedged between three other homes. No views out the windows at all. We haven't been back to Seaside for many years and were disappointed the original concept has been changed by overbuilding and over crowding. This is no longer the quaint, quiet beach town it was years ago. It now feels like an upscale, expensive version of Panama City.

Fine Property

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Eversong is so close to being a top notch rental. The location is wonderful and the layout is really great for a family with kids. However, the furnishings and supplies were very basic and the property felt worn. There were no rugs downstairs in the bedrooms, so if you weren’t wearing shoes or slippers, you felt every grain of sand and piece of dirt. The cleaning was also not satisfactory since we found hairs in the bunk sheets and part of someone’s fingernail. There were also some bugs in the house, however it is in the middle of lots of trees and vegetation and it was raining. The location is very good. Close to shops and restaurants and close to the beach. Overall, if some upgrades were made to the furnishings and the cleanliness were also brought up to standard, this would be a really nice property. Unfortunately, we won’t be staying here again or recommending it to others.

Location is excellent; walk to everything in Seaside w/ private beach access. You can't see the beach from the house which is the only downside. Communication w/ property manager was great. Was super nice to have the pool too. Pickleball is extra.

Cute, comfortable little cottage

Perfect location - one block to beach access, and about four blocks to the central square. Two bikes are included, and 10% discount on extra bikes! We absolutely loved our stay and will return.

However, the hot water only lasted for two showers ( we have a family of six) and the upstairs bathroom had a large window with no blind or shade.

Hidden Gem

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family just stayed at the eversong cottage, and it was perfect for our family of five. We have three small kids (3 yrs - 9yrs) and they loved the bedroom with the bunkbeds. The layout was excellent with plenty of room upstairs to relax and do what we needed to in the kitchen. The only minor issue was the lack of an outside shower to rinse off when returning the beach.

Cute house off the beaten path

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect size house for a group of 4-6. A bunch of natural light through the many windows. Kitchen is small, but all you really need. The tub in the master bathroom is epic. The shower in the guest bath can be tricky to get out of. My Dad ended up getting stuck inside, but it did make for a funny vacation story. Overall great stay.

Tupelo Beach House

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, just a few minutes from the beach. Down a path behind two houses, cute two-bedroom with upstairs kitchen. House was very clean. Had an issue with a toilet which was quickly repaired. Only one shower in the house and the doors are not easily opened once closed (notified management of this). Overall, a nice home in a great location.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely love Seaside, but this year's experience with the cottage did not meet our expectations for the price we paid. There were tiny bugs in the kitchen, not enough towels for six people even though you asked how many people would be staying, the dryer took so long to dry that it was virtually impossible to have enough towels even if you washed, there were not enough kitchen cookware/containers for food prep, only a window to get out to the porch, no BBQ grill-so, we asked our neighbors if we could use their grill, and Paula said absolutely;however, security was called on my husband my another neighbor-absolutely ridiculous. The beach was wonderful and no complaints there.

Good enough

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would like to start out by saying the location is excellent. Super close to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the seaside town center. The property was also very clean. The drawback is how this property is supplied. There was 1 dish towel and 1 washcloth in the kitchen. Zero potholders, 2 fry pans- 1 so small to cook a single egg and another that could fry 3 eggs- not helpful when you’re trying to make fajitas for a family. To get anything out of the oven you had to use the single kitchen towel. Pots and pans in general were lacking for any cooking. The mattress is the master is VERY firm. My husband likes a firm mattress and even woke up with bank pain daily. I like a softer mattress so I was in a lot of back pain for the week. If you are traveling across the country like we did and cannot pack beach towels, etc. then it is very difficult. They supply you with 2 beach towels. I asked if I could rent additional beach towels and they offered to charge me $25 a towel to purchase I ended up going to Walmart and paying $6 a towel since I was just leaving them there and didn’t want to add an extra suitcase to fly with beach supplies. Every beach house we’ve rented over the years were supplied with beach towels and chairs. Here they don’t and you can pay $500 to rent chairs/umbrellas for a week. That’s pretty insane. Again, I bought a couple of chairs and just let them there because it ended up way less expensive and I’m happy to carry a chair the 2 min walk to the beach. Overall the place is nice but just significantly lacking a lot of essentials.

Nice House - not ideal for families with older kids

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a nice house, but, and its a big but to us, while the description says there are two full baths (which I think the management company has since changed) there is only one shower and one tub. We were in Seaside with 4 teenage boys and two adults...with one shower. It is not ideal unless you have younger kids.
