Welcome to our charming, fully remodeled home with a large front yard, setback on the property and surrounded by beautiful trees. Inside you'll find a cozy atmosphere giving you that comfortable feeling to just unpack and relax. There are sitting areas, boardgames, a foosball table and fireplace. Outside you will find a relaxing area with a grill, bocce set and outdoor movie screen! In the living room, the couch pulls out into a queen memory foam mattress. Nest security cam facing the front yard

Located in the historic Highland Park, Cobb offers a comfortable and elegantly decorated home away from home setting, full of fun activities at the spacious house and award-winning restaurants, clubs, shows and nightlife just minutes away.

The home was adorable. The street was nice and quiet. The area was close to lots of parks, which was nice. The decor was clean and contemporary with all the essentials and plenty of spaces to be together and alone if needed. Check in was a breeze.

Excellent property in a quiet neighborhood.

What a great property - nice amenities and wonderfully decorated. Took notes for my own home! Though the neighborhood is older homes, this one felt properly modernized. Very short driving distance from many shops, restaurants, and activities.

RIT Graduation weekend

My family consisting of my husband and I and three of our Adult children stayed here to celebrate a 4th adult child’s graduation from RIT. It was the perfect set up for us to be together as a family and yet still have our own space. The house is perfectly set up with everything you need. Catan and poker games were played at the large table. Sports on the TVs and the host left Fresh flowers and fruit and Cheese along with snacks and canned drinks. There was even an iron and Ironing board so I could iron the grad gown. The long driveway was perfect for our 4 cars and the location is great.

Perfect accommodations for our group

There were three adults in our party so the house was a perfect size for us. The space is well laid out and the kitchen and bathroom well stocked. We enjoyed the two spaces for lounging - having our coffee in the smaller space in the morning and hanging out in the living room in the evening. We did not take advantage of the outdoor space which included a fire pit. Quiet street with easy access to many points of interest. Couple of drawbacks - water pressure wasn’t strong enough for some in our group and some of the mattresses are a bit hard. Overall a great place.

Accommodating

Tim’s place was very accommodating for our family who came from different places to gather for a family wedding. Of all the vacation rentals we’ve used in the past (not just in Rochester), this had the most amenities. We are grateful to Tim for opening his home and for his timely responses to questions during our stay.

Perfectly equipped and comfortable stay

We stayed with our 3 young kids and there were so many thoughtful details we appreciated. The kids loved the swing and foosball table, and the home was perfectly equipped with games, a great yard, and even a few snacks and drinks in the fridge. The home is beautifully decorated and very comfortable for our family of 5. Thank you for making it an easy and wonderful stay!

graduation weekend

We had a wonderful time at Tim's serene getaway. there was plenty of space for folks to spread out. We loved the fire pit and the outdoor dining area. the neighborhood is quiet and close to the university , gardens, lilac festival etc. Tim graciously provided welcome goodies and snacks that were appreciated as we did a lot of coming and going. the beds were comfortable and there were toiletries in the bathrooms. the stairs are a bit tricky as they are steep and the ceiling is low-we're a tall family. All worked fine for us. we'd stay again! thanks Tim

Adorable and a bit quirky

The house was clean and decorated nicely. Everything we needed was supplied. The house is older and has some uneven floors, narrow, steep staircase, and random steps - this is not normally a concern except my mother fractured her leg prior to the trip so it was a difficult venue for that situation.

Stay for a family wedding

We come to Rochester all the time, to visit family, but this was the first time renting our own place. We will definitely be returning clients for Tim’s property! Not only did it live up to the photos, and property info, it exceeded our expectations. Plenty of room to spread out and live comfortably for a week with six adults. Tim stocked the house with wine, and plenty of snacks, he even put fresh flowers in a vase. The attention to detail for a family, plenty of towels, cups, utensils, I mean my gosh there were even bandaids and tape, ETC!!! Tim was great with communication should we need anything at all. The location was PERFECT! I seriously could go on and on. If you’re looking for the perfect place to stay, in a prime area, don’t think twice. Book this one!

Great location, quiet and safe

Really good suburban location with lots of space and privacy. Spacious and comfortable. The owner responded to emails promptly. The interior steps in the location might be slightly troublesome for elderly or really young but otherwise a great stay.

Relax

Sweet space, well appointed and hidden away close to everything. The house sits back off the street, making it a bit tricky to find in the dark, but the large front yard invites the deer, bunnies and ground squirrels to play while you enjoy your coffee uninterrupted in their company. Full bath down, but all beds are up and be careful of those stairs , as they can be tricky. Good sized rooms and space for everyone to stretch out AND come together. A great kitchen/ dining area, a nice BBQ pit on the front porch, and a great firepit in the side yard are nice touches, as is the foosball game. Owner is easy to reach & responsive, and the neighborhood is a joy to walk in. A great place to land for a week while making our plans to move. Thanks for sharing your home!

Home with plenty of room in a quiet neighborhood

This home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, so there was plenty of room for my family. The host left us drinks and snacks, and the house was very clean when we checked in, with plenty of towels and linens. We used the grill, and it worked fine.

Great spot in Rochester

Very nice home in a great location. Great neighborhood for walks and centrally located. Wasn’t expecting the owner to stock it with special snacks for us, which was a treat! Bedrooms are upstairs and the stairs are a little narrow & steep and there are some possible tripping hazards for those who are a little unstable on their feet. Great outdoor space to enjoy!! Would stay again !!

Absolutely amazing!

This house, and Tim as a host, get every bit of this 5 star review. From the time we booked the house Tim was responsive and easy to work with when we asked to extend our trip an extra day. The check in and out process was great and the house is in the perfect location. When we arrived we were greeted with a ton of snack and drink options, which we really appreciated after a long day of travel and it felt incredibly thoughtful. The house itself is beautiful and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated the multiple pillow options (nothing worse than there only being flat pillows in every room) and plenty of throw blankets to use in the living room. We sat at the patio table in the front every morning and after coming back in the evenings which was very relaxing. The neighborhood was quiet and safe but close to everything. I’m not sure when we will be back in Rochester, but whenever that this - this is where we will stay!

Perfect for our family!

Adorable home, updated with comfortable furnishings in a cute neighborhood! The neighborhood felt homey and away from the bustle of the city, but was also close to the places we wanted to visit. Our family of 7 (2 adults and 5 kids ranging from age 8 to 17 years) loved our stay here. The foosball table and tree swing were a huge hit. Everything was clean and comfortable, and we loved how easy it was to communicate with our host. He readily answered every question we had, and even had snacks and drinks available for us when we arrived. Will definitely stay here again if we come back to the area!

Cozy Getaway

My family and I enjoyed staying at this property and Tim was very responsive to any communication we had with him. The bed in the owner's bedroom is super comfortable and the bathrooms and kitchen were supplied with everything needed. We enjoyed sitting out in the yard and barbequed on the grill. We would stay here again next time we're in town.

Spacious house and great host

We had a wonderful stay at the house while in town to visit family. Convenient location and it was a clean, spacious house. Lots of special treats were left for us and the host communicated with us well and was very responsive. He went above and beyond when I left a personal item behind to make sure I could get it returned. I would definitely stay here again for a future visit.

Plenty of space for family gatherings

This home has plenty of space for eight people to sleep at night, and I love that it has two full bathrooms. The first floor is a large open space, and we had several memorable dinners with family members at the large dining table. Everything was clean, and the kitchen was well-stocked with tableware, pots, pans, and bowls. The Christmas tree in the living room was a nice surprise, and made the house even cozier during our holiday visit. My family and I were very impressed with this house!

Hey my name is Tim, and I'm born and raised here in Rochester New York. I come from two very large, old-world families and somehow was lucky enough to have them both rub off on me in all the best ways. I have great childhood memories of going to my grandma's house and walking into a wall of smells wafting from the stove. The sound of laughter and love bouncing off the walls of their tiny house and being smothered with a feeling of togetherness. It was that innate sense of hospitality and welcoming influence that naturally led me to the service industry. I genuinely enjoy anticipating issues and solving problems, so that your time can be better spent with the people you love, doing the things you want to do.

I hope you choose to stay at this property because I understand how many other choices, other options are out there. You may find something cheaper, or bigger or that checks more of your boxes. But what I can promise you you won't find, is a host who cares more about making your stay as relaxing, refreshing and reinvigorating as myself. I understand that we only have a few precious moments (if we're lucky) to separate ourselves from doing the things we consider more important than taking care of ourselves. So while you're staying with me at Cobb Terrace, I promise to anticipate and prepare in such a way so that every moment you're here, is a moment spent doing what you choose. I'd be happy planning activities, helping you explore the Flower city's historic roots and introducing you to everything Rochester has to offer.
