Outatanding

We loved our stay here. The property was well maintained and the place was well stocked. The back yard was perfect for the dogs. Becca was very responsive when we had questions. It is in a very nice neighborhood, I got to know both neighbors and they were very friendly.

Home away from home

We have stayed here many times as a patient of Mayo clinic. It is conveniently located. It’s a very comfortable home. It has a very large fenced in backyard which we love for our small dogs. Highly recommend staying here. You won’t be disappointed.

Family Visit

Our son and future DIL moved to Rochester, MN recently. They have been feeling a bit homesick and so we brought "home" to them. This home was the perfect setting. We had our oldest son, his wife and daughter and their two dogs stay with my husband and I in the house and our youngest son/DIL who live only a mile away were able to stay in their apartment with their cats at night. The house was clean and inviting. The living area was perfect for us to have a meal all together, play games and enjoy each other's company. The kitchen has everything you need and the huge, fenced backyard is perfect for the dogs to run and let out some of their energy. We will be making more visits to Rochester and will definitely make this our "home" away from "home". Thank you.

Comfortable Home

This is a very comfortable home. I’m a patient at Mayo Clinic and need to be there every 2 weeks for a couple of months then every 12 weeks, we hope to book this house every time. Large backyard for our dog's and easy access to Mayo. The property owners are a blessing to work with. Easy to approach and very kind. Highly recommend their properties.

Lovely home for a small family celebration

We needed to be in Rochester for Health appointments on Dec 26, so siblings, parents, and a few of the adult children gathered here on Christmas day to be together. Some family stayed at a hotel, but there was plenty of space for all of us to enjoy food and drinks together. We made 3 pots of soup and had bread and appetizers and the kitchen was very functional. Everyone was happy with sleeping accommodations as well.

Great Stay

Our stay was great. The house is larger than the pictures convey. It has everything you need. Lots of linens, kitchen was well stocked. Large backyard (we didn't use as the weather was quite wet and the time of year). Floor is a little creaky, but that's just the age of the house. We will definitely book here again. The owner was very responsive in communication, though we didn't need anything.

Great backyard

Well maintained , clean, close to Mayo Clinic. Great host to work with the only thing I would complain about is it’s so nice. I don’t want to lose it when we go back. Ha ha! We’ve been there twice and we will keep coming back. Great place to stay if you’re a Mayo Clinic patient

Convenient location, nice neighborhood

We stayed here for a visit to Mayo Clinic. Location was great. House clean and a large fenced in backyard for our dogs. Will definitely will rebook this property!

Perfect location for the wedding we were attending. House was clean and in a nice neighborhood. Primary bedroom did not have a king bed. Queen bed was okay but should be replaced due to the dip in the middle.

Comfortable home for a large group in safe, quiet location near the Mayo Clinic

Very spacious, clean, and comfortable home. Good and timely communication with the host. The house was set up with everything we needed, including a high chair. We were traveling with our son and his family. The "kids", aged 1 to 34, stayed on the main level, using two of the three bedrooms there. My husband and I enjoyed the quiet of the lower level bedroom and living room/work area down there. Plenty of room at the main level dining table for family meals, crafts, and card games. Huge fenced backyard for the grandkids to run around with good climbing trees! The kitchen was a good size and had all the items necessary for a few home-cooked meals. Room for one car in the driveway with plenty of on-street parking for the other. We could have used the garage, but it is a quiet street so no worries about parking there. Easy drive to the Mayo Clinic, and most everything else Rochester has to offer. I would recommend this location and Becca as a host. Thank you for providing a comfortable home base during a stressful situation.

Great yard and great host!

The house was clean and close to Mayo. Our dogs really enjoyed the huge yard. The host is fantastic! We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Rochester!

Great locations

This house was very nice, clean relaxing. We really enjoyed the outdoor patio with the campfire ring the big fenced backyard. The beds were comfortable. They have two queen beds, a twin and a futon. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed. I would highly recommend this house as it was greatly located in Rochester and very quiet neighborhood

Great location

We came to Rochester for a wedding. We have 6 in our immediate family and a dog. This was a perfect spot for us to spend the weekend. We all slept comfortably and having 2 full baths for us all to get ready was a huge help as well. It's a very nice house!

Great Place To Stay

We were in town for a wedding this past weekend and loved that we chose to go this route for our stay. We were traveling with 6 total people and the layout of the house still felt spacious. The communication between the owners was second to none and we loved the location. We weren't able to take in all Rochester had to offer, but if you were there to do that, the location is perfect. I would have to guess 10 minutes or less to anything and everything you could really want to do. 5* for sure and would absolutely rent here again.

Rochester stay

We were in Rochester for a wedding. Found this house for multiple family members to stay. The house was in a nice clean neighborhood and very clean and updated inside. It allowed for pets which was great and had fenced yard for them. I would definitely rent this home again.

MAYO Clinic Visit

This property was perfect for our stay. My daughter brought her dog and the fenced in yard was great! The property was clean and provided the space that we needed. Our host responded to any questions or requests we had almost immediately. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Home Away From Home!!

Cheshire House exceeded our expectations from the house’s comfortable interior appointments, ease of check-in/out, split-second response from the property owner to its quiet and comfortable location on Rochester’s North West side. We could not have found a better place to stay for us and our two kitties Laysa and Nikolai. We highly recommend Cheshire House to any travelers with or without pets coming to Rochester for a brief or extended stay.
